About this space
New upscale apartment attached to new home with partial views of Lake Michigan; sleeps 7 people. Upper bedroom has queen bed on one end and sitting area. Walk up 2 steps through a privacy curtain and two additional queen beds. Biking & walking path nearby along Lk. Michigan. Popular restaurant and coffee shop across the street with Ice cream parlor within walking distance. Located between Gladstone & Escanaba. All furnishings & appliances are new and upgraded. Unlimited parking available. Snacks and many refreshments included.

The space
Walk through private entry door into main great room. You will find a eating counter with four stools and open galley kitchen. We have also added a new live edge wine/coffee bar with stools and a wide variety of complimentary beverage’s and snacks available . On opposite end is open living room with upgraded sofa for additional sleeping room. Go up 3 steps to storage closet and turn right to bathroom with upgraded rain shower fixture. Walk up stairway to combination bedroom and sitting area with 2nd tv and large walk-in closet.

We loved the Lakeview Lodge! The hosts were very friendly with many snacks and local recommendations. We were winding down our UP trip and were looking to relax for a day before driving home. Our two nights here were nothing but comfortable. The towns Gladstone and Escanaba had beaches, marinas, hiking and plenty of restaurants to choose. We loved the pizza at the Saloon.

Cute and Comfy

Terry is a spectacular host. She feels like a grandma that is worried about your wellbeing and makes sure you have everything you need. Place is adorable and great for families with all the beds sort of together, yet with their own space.

Overnight Stay

Spent one night here with the family on our Michigan vacation. Everything was just as advertised. The place is comfortable and nicely decorated. Having three queen beds was a luxury, and the snacks were much appreciated.

Cool and cozy

Easy to locate and very clean. We had a whole parking lot to ourselves. Unfortunately, I was supposed to stay for a nice getaway, but a snowstorm happened in Chicago and we were snowed in at this little place. I loved the theme and communication from the property managers/owners. I will return sometime in the summer. I appreciate everything.

Lakeview Lodge

We loved staying at the Lakeview Lodge, it was our last overnight stop while exploring all over the UP and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and decorated so cute! We had been camping in a tent for 10 nights beforehand so it was a real treat! Terry was extremely accommodating, even offered a tarp to put over our trailer during a storm and called quickly when my daughter left her water bottle behind.

The home was truly beautiful. We were so impressed with how clean and put together the place was. Also, the hosts went above and beyond in everyway possible. We will definitely stay again.
