Located in the historical Ocotillo Lodge, our modern unit is distinguished by its large private patio and open layout. Meticulous details have been added to complement the surrounding desert landscape. Enjoy modern amenities and the comforts of home, all while taking in the many stylized nods to Palm Springs' colorful history. Our mid-century gem is yours to enjoy!
This completely renovated unit at the Ocotillo Lodge retains many of the original architectural elements designed by architects Palmer and Krisel. Our one-bedroom bungalow has endless natural light coming through floor-to-ceiling windows/sliding glass doors in all primary spaces. You get a chance to truly enjoy the best of indoor/outdoor living, as the large private patio beckons you to cook and enjoy meals al-fresco, prepared on your own grill.
The stylish bungalow decor mixes period-appropriate furniture and art (some original mid-century) with chic colors & textures. Both living room and bedrooms have direct access to the patio. The indoor/outdoor feel evokes a seamless experience of the soothing, natural surroundings for which Palm Springs is known.
Our bedroom features a plush king-sized bed and calming tones that will give you that perfect night's sleep. The bedroom offers easy access to the oversized bathroom, featuring double-sinks and glass-enclosed shower. The kitchen is fully stocked, and opens out to a dining/bar area. We have Apple TV in the bedroom, and cable TV in the living room. Once you step outside of the unit, the large swimming pool and spa are both just steps from your door.
Originally built in 1956 by famed architects William Krisel & the Alexanders, the Ocotillo Lodge started out as a hotel, and is one of Palm Springs' most stunning mid-century gems. As a guest, you will have full access to the facilities, including the famous champagne-cork shaped pool, two hot tubs, fitness room, and lush desert landscaping. You'll truly feel like one of the many celebrities who have frequented this famous hangout spot over the years.

You’re renting the entire bungalow and patio area. Make yourself at home, as everything is yours to enjoy exclusively!
Our property is professionally managed by a full service vacation rental agency, so your trip will be worry-free from beginning to end. We will take care of everything from hosted check-in to departure, and will be available for anything you need along the way. We are also available to handle any special or a-la-carte requests, including pre-arrival grocery shopping and arrangement of transportation and/or tours.

- Minimum age for primary renting guest is 25.
- Daytime occupancy is 6 people.
-Overnight occupancy is 2 people.
- Maximum of 1 vehicles allowed. Please utilize driveway parking before using street parking.
- The City imposes a strict noise ordinance for vacation rentals. No music is allowed outside at any time, including music coming from inside that can be heard at the property line, and no noise at all is allowed outside after 10pm.
- The City requires a signed written contract for all guests, as well as a copy of the primary renter's government ID. This will be taken care of during check-in.
- The City requires each guest to pay an 11.5% Transient Occupancy Tax and a 1% Tourism Business Improvement District assessment for stays less than 28 days. If your stay is 28 days or more, taxes do not need to be paid.
ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE
- Check-in time is 4PM, and check-out is promptly by 11AM.
- Our onsite greeter will meet you at the home and give you a tour.
- Late check-outs without prior approval with incur a $250 fee, as we need time to get the house ready for the next guest.
PETS
- One pet is allowed with a fee of $100. Pet must be approved and fee paid prior to check-in. Any signs of pets on the property without our knowledge will incur an additional $500 fee. Having more than one pet will be cause for eviction.
NO SMOKING
- The entire complex is a smoke-free property. Any signs of smoking in the unit or on the patio will incur an additional $250 fee.
CLEANING
The final cleaning after your checkout is included in your reservation quote. For stays longer than 6 weeks, guest will be responsible for the cost of a mid-stay clean every 30 days. Fund will be collected from guest as mid-stay cleanings occur.
INSURANCE FEE for Vrbo & Direct Bookings (does not apply to Airbnb bookings)
