The Pacifica Inn- The Nene and Hapu’u Room

The Pacifica Inn is a special little place out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean where you can experience peacefulness and tranquility. Come and enjoy the beautiful Hapu’u trees that surround the property. Relax and enjoy the sounds of endemic birds and their melodies while the Coqui frogs sing at night. Consider staying in one of our rooms at the Pacifica Inn. We don’t do luxury at the Pacifica Inn we do Hawai’i ! The Pacifica Inn is located in the beautiful Mauna Loa Estates just one mile from the town of Hawai’i. In Volcano you will find restaurants and shops to enjoy during your stay! The Hawai’i National Park is just 5 minutes away. This makes the Pacifica Inn a great place to stay after experiencing the best of what Hawaii has to offer. The Hilo International airport is 40 minutes away and renting a vehicle is the best way for transportation around the Big Island. The Pacifica Inn is located in the town of Volcano which is an altitude of 4,000 feet. Volcano is very tropical and rain can fall anytime during the day or night. Temperatures can get cold at night so we highly recommend you pack warm clothes along with your swimsuits. The water is not consumable and we recommend guests bring their own drinking water during their stay. We appreciate your interest in the Pacifica Inn we look forward to being apart of your journey. This peaceful and private retreat is surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and flowers. Enjoy the songs of the Hawaiian birds. The room offers large wall-surrounded windows to view the rainforest directly from your room. On cold nights, warm up with an extra cozy blanket or simply use the space heater provided. Set a peaceful mood at night by turning on the landscape light and enjoy the panoramic views of the forest.

There is free parking on the premises, limited to 1 vehicle per rented room is only available. There is no assigned parking. Visitors must park on the street.
Due to HOA community rules no overnight street parking is allowed.
Guests can enjoy their own private quarters in the (The Nene and Hapu’u Room) and the shared outdoor spaces. This will include the parking area, driveway, forested yard, and trails. The hot tub is currently off limits to all guests until further notice. Please remind and ensure that kids and other guests limit themselves to these designated areas and respect these boundaries, allowing privacy for the other guests.

Here, you will be able to go out on an early morning stroll or jog. It's such a great way to take in the community.

Please note: This is a multi unit property. There a total of two buildings.
The first building has our Gecko Room located downstairs and upstairs is our popular Volcano Room.
The second building behind the first building is our Hapu’u and Nene Room which are side be side units.

Upon booking this unit, guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Pacifica Inn, property owners, its officers, agents, employees, and servants from all claim, suits, or actions of every name, kind, and description, brought for, or on account of: (A) injuries to or death of any person, or (B) damage to any property of any kind whatsoever and to whomsoever belonging,
(C) any sanctions, penalties, or claims of damages resulting from guest's failure to comply with the house rules, host/manager directions, local laws, or (D) any other loss or cost, including but not limited to that caused by the concurrent active or passive negligence of manager or owner and its officers, agents, employees, or servants, resulting from the performance of any work, maintenance or the involvement required to maintain safe and comfortable rental Unit.
