I‘m curious as to what you were expecting, other than a historical charming home with a private garden and immaculate cottage with a very comfortable bed, a great shower, kitchenette, and a beautiful garden view paying under well under $200 a night In the height of season?

I'd like to clarify that it's a lovely mini villa with private entry behind the main house that opens to a beautiful private patio and landscaped garden. It's not a cabin. It was beautifully lit up for the holidays when you were here. The photos are an accurate depiction of the room and grounds. Our location is optimal to local parks, waterfront, downtown and Palm Beach. We offer an amazing experience and a great value, as our happy guests have reviewed. Take the time to look at a property online and ask questions if needed.My goal is to exceed expectations by going the extra mile from good coffee to cleanliness and aesthetics. Each guest is treated as someone special coming to my home, which they are. Kindly remember we are not inn keepers, or corporate hotels. Hosts are individuals allowing you to enter their space and guests need to be respectful of that by reading check in and out instructions, and following house rules and policies.

Considering what happened , the outcome could’ve been a lot worse. I am used to getting five star reviews and I work very hard at it, but under the circumstances, I completely understand.

These were unfortunately, the type of Guests that would be better off staying at a chain hotel you can’t come to 100 year-old home and just want to do your own thing without taking a moment to appreciate the care that went into creating the experience you’re about to have they did not look at any instructions. They did not communicate well from the geT go. They did not answer their messages and they left the room a mess. I never enter rooms when people are here they left the curtains open. I could see very plainly what the AC was set to. They also didn’t take a moment to empty their garbage or take off the linens on the bed when they left, I tried to be courteous and not give them a bad review because this is a client driven business, but since they had absolutely no courtesy as far as I’m concerned. , I’m allowed to set the records straight

We take any complaint by our guests very seriously. Unfortunately, I was not given an opportunity to address the situation. The guest did not respond to my inquiry at check-in until almost 5 hours later. Florida is a subtropical climate , subject to inclement weather, I standby the cleanliness ,beauty and the professionalism that I offer as a host, which has been appreciated by a majority of my guests.
