The 'Gone Fishin Cabin' is centrally located approx 30 mins from Savannah, Pooler, and Statesboro and only 20 mins west of I-95! The cabin sits on an 8 acre estate which boasts a 1 acre stocked pond with dock. Enjoy catch and release fishing (poles provided), a paddle boat ride, or just sitting on the patio by the fire. Pet friendly - entire property is fenced! With its secluded and quiet atmosphere and woodsy cabin interior, this little cabin will make you feel miles away from the hustle and bustle while still being close!!! (Pets must be listed on your booking)

Thank you so much for opening your beautiful cabin to our family. The cabin itself was perfect for our family—the layout, space, cleanliness, and amenities made us feel incredibly comfortable. But what really stood out was the property and the hospitality. From the stocked pond and animals to the playground and seating areas, there was so much for our family to enjoy. The fresh eggs and water waiting for us were such a thoughtful touch. Everything was beautifully maintained, and we truly felt welcomed during our stay. Thank you for creating such a peaceful and family-friendly place. We hope to visit again!

We had a lovely stay and would gladly return if we're ever back near Savannah! Everything was perfect and the farm fresh eggs in the fridge from the hens living beyond the lake were a delightful and delicious treat.

Upon arriving and checking in - our family was tired but once we saw the place we had so much energy. We enjoyed fishing , going to the beach & overall just relaxing. Our dogs enjoyed their stay as well. We enjoyed our conversation with the hosts. The property was absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be back!

This is an amazing property! The listing makes it look like a rustic little cabin but believe me the pictures don’t do it justice. There is so much attention to detail in the craftsmanship of the building and the decor. The king sized bed was super comfy and there were lots of blankets for this perpetually cold girl! Even being close to the main house it is still so peaceful there. The pond is beautiful and we enjoyed some quiet time on the dock. Check in was super easy and Dayle got right back to me when there was a minor issue with a faucet. I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a quiet retreat!

The cabin is so well-appointed! Beautiful everything! Just very comfortable and even though it’s situated close to the house where the owner resides, it is still very private. It’s out in the Georgia country, yet just a half hour drive to the Savannah historic district. Ideal for our needs!

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin had everything we were looking for and more—beautifully decorated, well appointed, and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, communication with the host was excellent, and parking was convenient. It was also very pet-friendly—our dog loved it there. Highly recommend!

If you are anywhere near Savannah, you should consider a two night stay at this awesome cabin. So well done, private, and every need has been anticipated. Dayle was an excellent host and really the epitome of Georgia hospitality and class. Being pet friendly was a huge plus. Hope we can stay there again soon! a 10 out of 10!
