THE SPACE
Welcome to our charming, newly built modern cabin hidden among preserved Lost Pines forest in Red Rock, Texas. You have private access to all 15 acres of this pristine nature. We recommend taking a deep breath as soon as you arrive.
The cozy interior provides all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The cabin is 1500 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The main bedroom has a king sized bed and both guest rooms have queen beds. There are 6 roll-away beds (250 lbs weight limit), allowing for a total of 12 guests.
High-speed wifi and 60" smart TV. Acoustic guitar, telescope, record player with a few vintage vinyls, books and board games for extra smiles.
You'll find a large fire pit stocked with firewood and a S'mores Starter Kit welcome gift. A propane grill and propane fire table on the deck.
We’re all about wildlife. Our deer feeder is visible from the deck and gets daily visits from deer, birds, raccoons, and other woodland creatures.

- Bathroom features a large standalone tub with a huge window looking onto the forest. You’ll feel like you’re bathing in nature, but without the bugs.

- Each guest room has one queen bed with memory foam mattresses with 2 additional roll-out beds in each closet.
- Guest bathroom has a tub/shower combination and single vanity.
KITCHEN / DINING / UTILITY:
- Fully equipped kitchen w/ pots and pans and place settings enough for those big family meals
- Coffee bar stocked with coffee, tea, sugar and creamer
- Full size electric range, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge

OUTDOORS:
- The huge back deck is partially shaded and partially open for stargazing. On a clear night you can see our little arm of the Milky Way galaxy.
- The upper deck includes a dining table and chairs for 8 people and two loungers, and the lower deck has 4 rocking chairs, a propane fire pit table, and a propane gill.
- The wood burning fire pit includes stocked firewood, Adirondack chairs, benches, side tables, and string lights.
- Enjoy walking the trails around the property and along Sandy Creek. You might even find some secret picnic spots along the way. Property boundaries are indicated by fencing, the creek bed, or orange markers.
- Horses and bikes are welcome but please do not use motorized off-road vehicles on the trails.
- Several great spots for tent camping.
PETS:
-We are a dog-friendly property, and there is a one-time pet fee of $90. Please let us know upon booking if you will be bringing a pet.
-Please keep dogs off of all furniture, including couches and beds, and do not leave them outside unattended.
-Owners are responsible for any damages incurred.
-We will provide a large dog water bowl.
LOCAL ATTRACTIONS:
- 10 minutes into the little town of Red Rock for live music and food at the Red Rock Steakhouse, or to stock up on supplies at the Red Rock General Store, which we are pretty sure is the cutest store on earth
- 30 minutes to the thriving and historic town of Bastrop, with quaint shops and eateries.
- 30 minutes to Lockhart for some of the best BBQ in the country.
- 35 minutes to COTA (Circuit of the Americas) for Formula 1 and concert fun
- 55 minutes to downtown Austin
RV CONNECTION: We have a 50 amp RV electric service connection and a city water hook-up for your travel trailer.
OTHER STUFF YOU SHOULD KNOW:
- You’ll have to drive on a bumpy dirt road for about 1.5 miles to get to the property. Your car may get dusty.
- We are in the country and you may hear country noises in the distance, like coyotes, woodpeckers, crickets, cicadas, and the soft soothing rumble of a train.
- Cell phone service is spotty. If you have Verizon you are out of luck, but AT&T seems to work fine. We do have high-speed internet and wifi. Keep this in mind while you’re hiking.
- While hiking, be mindful of barbed wire fencing, trip hazards, and falling branches.
- Shooting of firearms on the property is prohibited.
- We are on septic. Please do not flush any products other than toilet paper.
