This beautiful newly constructed walk-up basement apartment is located just 7 minutes from the interstate, 10 minutes from downtown, and *15 minutes from Lakepoint*. The property is nestled back off of the main road and surrounded by mature trees that create a peaceful, private setting. Complete with a firepit, it's the perfect spot to unwind and relax. The keyless entry, no stairs and open layout along with gorgeous quartz countertops throughout and stainless-steel appliances make this your home away from home. The owners reside in the top two floors and the rental unit is on the lower level with separate drive and entrance.

This is a lovely, super clean place in a wonderful wooded setting just four miles from the downtown area. Theresa and Tim are excellent hosts, providing everything needed for a restful, pleasant stay and responding very quickly to any messages.

Deer Creek is settled in a beautiful, quite wooded area. The whole place is very clean. The coffee bar is nice and the fire pit makes for a great setting and conversing place. We love to stay a Deer Creek.

Beautiful place in great and quiet neighborhood. Super clean place. Home away from home. It was perfect for our overnight stay on our way to Florida! Would definitely recommend and stay again! So much better than staying overnight at a hotel.

Deer Creek is absolutely beautiful! Very clean and it feels like home. Check in was a breeze. The hosts are very nice and courteous. It’s perfect for small families and couples. I would definitely recommend staying here. The coffee bar was a plus! We stayed 3 nights.

Perfection in Cartersville

The perfect place to stay when visiting Cartersville. Just a few minutes out of town, nestled in a beautiful wooded setting. Our hosts, Trisha and Tim, could not have been more accomodating, from the plush towels to the complimentary snacks and drinks.

Wonderful Location

This was one of the best VRBO’s I have used. It’s a basement apartment that feels like a home. Everything you could possibly need is available and the place is tastefully decorated. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a nice play to stay.

The property was beautiful. The 2 bedroom and 1-1/2 baths was just great for us. We thought the location was good as we were able to tour the mounds. The covered bridge and eat at several great restaurants. Would consider staying here again.

Peaceful getaway

House was clean with good amenities, comfortable beds and furniture. Close proximity to beaches. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Communication was delayed at times but always accomplished.

Peaceful Retreat

This is a beautiful walkout basement in a lovely secluded, wooded area within ten or fifteen minutes of downtown. The place looks fresh and new and is very attractively decorated. There are lots of thoughtful touches to make a stay extra comfortable, and the whole place is spotless. Trisha is very responsive and helpful. We loved staying at Deer Creek!

Very nice and accomodating

This property was very clean and met all of our needs. It was kind of creepy at night and extremely dark. The only slight issue we had was hearing foot steps above us, especially early in the morning, as it was initially startling. Other than this slight issue, the hostest was great and the basement apartment was way better than a hotel.The privacy was great too.

We chose this VRBO for my son’s 22nd birthday because of the water location and pet-friendly option. The stay itself was great, and they enjoyed the property.However, communication was an issue—messages went to me, not my son, so they missed them and overslept checkout by about an hour. Instead of knocking (the owner lives upstairs), the owner called the police, which felt excessive.We were also surprised by a 50 pet fee that wasn’t clearly listed. Overall, a good stay, but the ending and lack of clear communication were disappointing, and we wouldn’t stay again.

The check out time of 10 AM was posted on the VRBO site, as well as on the refrigerator. I communicated to you, the booker, through the VRBO app and called the number on the reservation, as well as left a voice mail. Your son and girlfriend didn’t leave until 11:30. We would have gladly accommodated a later check out had it been requested. The pet fee is $35. We do except pets on the property but a pet was not included in the reservation that was booked. The additional $15 was for the hour and a half late check out. The fee still has not been paid. We have never had to call the police before but felt that was the best thing to do since there was no response to the various communications.
