Our host was excellent. We had a Washer that didn't work, and even though Jeremy tried to get it fixed, we went without through our duration. However, they took in our laundry one day and returned that afternoon. We found it to be comfortable enough. The portable air unit needed to drain every night in order for it to be working. If my hubs wasn't there to do it, it would have been a hassle. Glad it works and available though. Comfortable bed, wished it had a higher quality sheets...Costco Kirkland white sheet can't be beat for the price....hate a microfiber feeling and I think this was kind of like that. But we loved being walking distance to the beaches. Would come back for sure!

Perfect stay to kick off our trip

Wonderful stay to kick off our trip on the beautiful island of Kauai! The location was perfect - walking distance to two beaches and a great beach bar. We watched the sunrise on brennecks and sat and watched the turtles at sunset on poipu. All a 5 minute walk! The u it was a little Hot in the living area but the portable ac kept the bedroom cold and comfortable for sleeping ! Pillows could be updated but overall it was a great stay and a great central location.

The property was very nice and well decorated. The pool and hot tub were close by and convenient. There were a lot of stairs up to the unit and then in the unit, so not ideal for seniors (or for carrying heavy luggage). It was super hot an humid, but the portable A/C in the bedroom and fans helped.

Very spacious for a 1 bedroom. Short walk to the beach or shopping. Short drive for sight destinations. Condo is well appointed and had everything we needed.

Excellent Location!

Excellent location with a short 5 minute walk to the beaches. Closest to Brennecke's Beach which was our favorite for sandy bottom and fun waves. If you have kids Poipu Beach is right next to it and more protected. Nice condo with lots of space. I was hot at night because the air conditioning is weak but my wife was comfortable. Enjoy!

Best stay ever

Just had an incredible stay at this condo in Poipu! The location was perfect – right near the beach and close to tons of good food and shopping. The condo was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved spending time on the balcony, soaking in the Hawaiian breeze. It truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend for anyone looking to experience the beauty of Kauai!

Splendid!

This condo was a great home base for a much needed and restorative vacation. It's well maintained, nicely appointed, and is perfectly situated for capturing a cross-breeze through the jalousie windows and balcony screen. Breakfast out on the lanai could not be beat, and it was great to find out that the pictures of the lovely, natural light in the living room was not photo-shopped. Plus, Kahala is a convenient spot for beach access, popping over to Old Koloa Town for a latte or fresh fish, and for getting to the other parts of the island. Management is responsive! I had an issue with some of pillows on the bed, and a representative brought me some new ones! Would highly recommend this spot.

Great location. Very short walk to Poipu beach. We walked there for the sunset almost every night. Sea turtles at the beach every night, saw whales from shore about half the times. Kitchen and utensils seemed to have been recently updated. Having an ice maker was very nice. Beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler provided were very nice to have. We ate most of our meals on the deck, also very nice. Overall great stay.

Great condo but only 3 stars due to a few problems.

This was a comfortable, spacious condo in a great location near to Poipu Beach and Brenneckes Restaurant. The decor was lovely and the kitchen well stocked. We had several disappointments. The weather for our stay was near 90 degrees. The only air conditioner was in the bedroom and it could not keep the south facing living room and kitchen cooled from noon until sundown. After sundown we could open the window louvers and get a night breeze but could not be in those rooms during the heat of the afternoon. Also, the washing machine was not working correctly. We had to switch cycles a few times to do a load of wash because the machine would get stuck mid cycle. During one morning of rain, the roof leaked onto the TV. We did contact the management who sent someone to check the AC and take photos of the roof leak. We were told that the uneven air conditioning was typical of very hot weather and the roof leak would be attended to by the condo association. No comments on the washing machine. Fortunately it never rained again while we were there.

Thank you for your very valuable feedback, please know that the maintenance concerns are being addressed. This condo just has the portable AC in the bedroom, so it is true that it may not cool the entire condo to the set temperature. Our tropical climate does give us warmer days, perfect for refreshing dips in the ocean just a minute walk down the greenbelt path.
