Rustikal!!! 700 m² großes, gemütliches Ferienhaus mit allem, was Sie für einen gemütlichen Urlaub benötigen. Es schläft insgesamt 6. Kabel-TV, Heizung und Air. 7 Minuten Strool zum Lake Huron oder 5 Minuten Fahrt nach Beautiful Downtown Lexington. Es hat 2 Schlafzimmer mit einem Queen-Size-Bett in beiden. Wir sind dabei, dieses niedliche kleine Cottage komplett neu zu machen, aber wir werden viel vom rustikalen Charme behalten, der uns dazu gebracht hat, uns zu verlieben. Feuerstelle und ein Garten für die Kinder zum Spielen.

Property as advertised. Very cosy and comfortable. We loved the big and elevated tv. All the comforts of home. Also enjoyed our trips to town to see the art fair and old town hospitality. Good dining and shopping. Also enjoyed taking the dog to the beach for a swim. Would definitely stay there again.

The cottage was just as described, comfortable and cozy. We had everything we needed. Very close proximity to the beach and downtown. On top of that I cannot say enough wonderful things about this host. Mark is the epitome of hospitality and customer service. A true gem. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Nothing in the listing mentions that you need to drive to a "Community Center" then walk 3 - 4 blocks to the beach.The furnace room door was hanging half off and you could smell a gas appliance.The only thing nice was the decorations."7 minute stroll to the beach" - Haha! "1 - 2 minute drive.." if you can find the correct place to park. We could not find any building with a sign "Community Center" as listed in the on-site book.We ended up staying in a hotel for the night and going to a different location for the rest of our stay.The host gave no consideration for any refund.

Moving forward please ask questions. You could have called, texted, sent up a smoke signal. Demanding a refund for your negligence is not my concern. You held the property from being rented from someone who would have gladly done so and loved the stay. Honestly if you would have even given it a chance you would have loved it too. Your loss!!

The place was homey, cozy, clean and beautiful. The owners make sure their guests are taken care of. We enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend! We would love to come back to visit again! The hosts are very responsive. I had a potential issue with my car and they were willing to help me if I needed it. I ended up resolving the issue, but the fact they were willing to help me, was amazing! The lake access is a short walk/drive to the beach. Walk 2 to 3 blocks down the St to the beach access located @ the end of the block. There are stairs that lead down to the lake. We really liked this private access. It was very calm and peaceful. It was nice to just chill and unwind with this private access area. Very relaxing and just a wonderful experience! Thank you to the owners of “over the rainbow!”

It is a rustic simple house. It did provide comfort, air conditioning, and plumbing. Household supplies were plentiful. The yard is nice and has trees. We enjoyed the firepit too. My Grandson was happy to have netflix.

Great area for a vacation

A quick drive to surrounding towns, and located close to a Dollar General store for all your last minute needs. We never found the private beach, but we were happy to use the public beach in town. Having the washer/dryer was a life saver!

Cute little cabin in a good location

Cute cabin, had everything we needed. It’s listed as rustic which is accurate but I feel like it was partially updated and had nice touches like beach decor, AC, wifi and tons of channels on the Tv but with a Cabin feel. Beach was awesome and just a short walk across the street. Dog friendly was a huge bonus for us. Will definitely come back.

Mark was great to work with. Left him some suggestions if things I felt needed fixed for his next guest. Town was a delight and beach was very clean. We used the public beach.

Cute little place

I enjoyed my stay and slept better than I have in years. But I never found the private beach access and this was a major disappointment. If I knew how to get there I would definitely consider coming back.

Cute place with great air conditioning and comfy beds.

We really enjoyed the cottage with the exception of the uneven floors, but will get back to that.The place is cute,the air works very well, beds are comfortable. Everything you need is there including dog leashes, towels and chairs for the beach. The only problem was the uneven floors. It was a bit like a fun house. We had thought about bringing my father, but if had, he might have fallen. Everything else was great! If in the area, I'd think about staying again.

Choose to look at the positive!!

The place was decorated cute, bedding on 1 bed was dirty with hair, the refrigerator had to be washed out, the shower was very nice, the porches had to be cleaned before we could enjoy them, the grill was dirty, the place needs alot of work. Tv was nice, good wifi. doors dont shut good

Cute house

Rustic is the keyword. Uneven floor/foundation makes walking awkward, especially for older folks. But they have a very well stocked kitchen and lots of extras, including coffee pods for the Keurig! Washer and dryer is a great plus. A welcome manual would help with info about TV, hot water, beach parking and WIFI. A little TLC would go a long way to fix this place up but we had a good stay. Property owner is quick to respond.

Cute, serviceable cabin near beaches

We'd really like to give this property the highest rating. The owner is very responsive and friendly, and the property is well equipped with modern surfaces, awesome coffee, and a great TV. But...the house had not been cleaned by our arrival time (soon remedied) and the on-demand hot water system is so eccentric that showers were an adventure. We also could never find the toaster, and the beach was more than a short walk. There is a state park beach nearby that is even better than the private beach referred to in the description, and the town center of Lexington is a delight. If we knew that the hot water system was tended to, we would consider returning. We did have a nice, private retreat there.

3 Day Get Away

Property is in great location with easy access to Lexington, Shopping and golf. Property is nice but cottage is in need of some repairs. Foundation seems to have shifted and cottage is not square. Was not concerned that it was going to fall off the foundation but doors were hard to close and open at times because things were not squared off. If you want a cute little cottage in a great location then this one is for you. If you want high end and everything perfect then keep scrolling. We loved the area and for a few days it is absolutely fine. We will book again.
