The property itself had everything we needed. The host responded promptly to me and even let us check in early which was so nice. The rooms were nice and the kitchen is big. It had everything we needed for our stay. The only issue we had was with the location itself. Online stated it was a Beverly Hills address with shops and restaurants within walking distance. Once we were able to check in, we received the actual address which was a Los Angeles address and those specific shops and restaurants were no longer within walking distance. There really was nothing within walking distance and it is one block off of a main road. You could hear street noise at night. Also, the hot tub and giant chess game was a great bonus, however both are in the front yard. Overall we had a good stay and a nice time in LA.

The exterior of the house and front yard were nothing like the photos.The lockbox containing the key was inoperable. We texted, called, and emailed the host. No response until mid-morning the next day.We had to scramble to find hotel rooms on a Friday night. VRBO rentals are usually great- this was a huge disappointment!

I am sorry that you were unable to reach us when you arrived very late in the evening. We were not aware that the lockbox was broken and have a contactless checkin process to help our guests. We have replaced the lockbox since then.

Awesome getaway with friends!!

My friends and I had a great time staying here for our mini vacay. We were a little hesitant at first with the initial reviews but I am SO happy we decided to book this place for our vacation. Everything was clean and put together and the place is a lot bigger in person. If we ever needed anything Ariella was very quick to respond. We would for sure stay again!

First when we walked in the house was bigger than expected. The rooms were really nice and clean. Everything was very comfortable. The hosts were very accommodating and super nice. You really get your moneys worth with the house and prime location. Would definitely recommend this place.

The property was great waliking distance to everything. Kitchen was very welcoming and when you have four Daughters making breakfast helps. All the girls were comfortable. Me and the wife comfortable.

Family trip

We were in town for a family wedding. This home was a convenient location between the wedding events in West Hollywood/Beverly Hills area, and some of our other stops (Palisades, UCLA, Santa Monica, LAX). There is a grocery and Target just a few blocks away, and we were always able to find a parking spot on the street. The home was clean, and having 3 bedrooms was great for our family. The home could use some attention. There is broken furniture, water-damaged cabinets in bathroom, and peeling ceilings. There were some basic items that were missing, such as pillows and washcloths.

Extremely dirty. Not well maintained. Cobwebs. Spills and sticky messes all over the floor. Missing and broken blinds, dirty kitchen utensils and towels, back door was broken and hard to lock. No paper towels, dirty beds. It says you can bring a pet…. I wouldn’t bring my pet to this house.. there is no grass.

Money stolen by the owners! Horrible experience! RUN!

Our stay at this property put my family’s health and safety in jeopardy. Upon arrival, we found the doors unlocked, windows wide open, and bloodstains on the floors and floorboards, raising serious concerns about potential criminal activity and the security of the home. To make matters worse, there was chewed gum in the bed, cobwebs everywhere, and grime covering many surfaces, including most light switches. The listing provided a different address than the actual property (misrepresented the property being in a completely different area). We immediately contacted the host, provided photo evidence, and canceled our stay. Although they initially agreed to issue a refund, it has now been four months without any refund. Despite repeated follow-ups, the owners continue to delay and withhold the promised refund. They have stolen money from our family and stolen our trust in staying at any property listed on VRBO.

Celebration with Friends

I have never left a bad review for anywhere, but I am disappointed with this property and VRBO. I booked two nights for a birthday celebration with a few friends. The host had allowed us an earlier check in, only to arrive a few hours earlier to the house not have been cleaned. So we had to leave to wait for the cleaning service to clean the vrbo, which ended up not being ready until after 6:00pm when original check in is 5:00pm. If we hadn’t asked for the earlier check in, the place wouldn’t have been cleaned at all upon arrival. We had to push back reservations and ask the guests to stall before arriving. The host was very apologetic and said she would make things right. Secondly, the listing states two double pull out couches and there was only one. So we had to go get an air mattress to accommodate the number of guests. We received a small refund for the delay with cleaning, but she stated there was a twin sized extra bed that could have helped the sleeping situation, but still is not a double pull out as the listing stated. Also the twin trundle bed that was in the closet didn’t have a mattress. I called vrbo to see what they could do to make this right, and they said they couldn’t do much since I called two days after the trip, and I should have called during the trip. I was on the phone for half an hour mostly on hold to find out there’s nothing much they could do. I didn’t want to call on my trip for that very reason.
