Dieser Rückzugsort am Rogue River befindet sich in einem privaten und abgeschlossenen, 19 Hektar großen Waldgebiet an einem 600 Fuß langen Flussufer. Der offene Grundriss, die großen Fenster und die Gewölbedecken sorgen für einen hellen und luftigen Wohnraum. Die Veranda erstreckt sich über die gesamte Länge des Hauses und bietet einen spektakulären Blick auf den Rogue River. Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über Parkettböden, einen schönen Kamin und ausreichend Sitzgelegenheiten sowie einen 50-Zoll-Breitbild-HD-Fernseher, einen DVD-Player und Sat-TV.

Die geräumige Küche verfügt über einen Gasherd, eine große Theke und 2 Thekenstangen. Der riesige Esstisch bietet Platz für bis zu 12 Personen.

Das geräumige Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über eine private Sitzecke und ein Hauptbad mit Waschbecken, eine Duschkabine und eine Badewanne. Der Meister hat ein Kingsize-Bett. Der Meister schaut auf den Fluss.

Die beiden anderen Schlafzimmer bieten Waldblick. Es gibt auch eine Empfangshalle mit einem Doppelschlafsofa und einer Queensize-Luftmatratze. Kostenloses W-LAN ist im gesamten Gebäude verfügbar.

Genießen Sie das ganze Jahr über Sportarten und Aktivitäten wie Wildwasser-Rafting, Angeln und hervorragende Tierbeobachtungen entlang des Rogue-Umpqua National Scenic Byway. Clean, comfortable, and quiet. Convenient location for getting to Crater Lake in 1 hour and Redwoods in 2. Also, easy access to Medford and Grants Pass, though the grocery store in town has all you need to picnic or cook.

Southern OR getaway-from-it-all

Our family really enjoyed our stay here. Great space for everyone to spread out. We saw wildlife daily (wild turkeys, loons, deer and lots of birds). We had hoped to fish here, but the river was too rapid. We still loved sitting by the river and listening to the lulling sounds of it. The property owner was very responsive when we had a plumbing issue, and it was fixed very quickly. Would stay here again!

We had 3 family memebers from 4 states meet here for a long weekend. Small family reunion. Plenty of space to visit, beautiful view and well stocked. Very secluded and a luttle hard to find, but after finding it, it was easy to get to and from. We hope to come back next year!

Secluded and beautiful

The one word used by all was cozy. River was amazing and listening to it relaxing. Everything needed was provided. What a great location for many nearby experiences. We all felt safe, secluded, and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Outdoor table was the gathering place from early morning coffee to evening conversation. Thank you for sharing!

Quiet and relaxing getaway

The home is very clean and welcoming plenty of room for a family. The area is quiet and peaceful and is right on the rogue river. We were able to see lots of wildlife during our stay such as deer, wild turkeys, and rabbits. We truly enjoyed our stay and recommend this prpoerty who is looking for a quiet and secluded getaway.

Beautiful home, very secluded location

Our family enjoyed a very relaxing time here. This home is beautiful and in a very secluded location. There are so many different places to relax inside the house. We enjoyed the many books and puzzles. We did venture out for one day to visit Kriselle Cellars, Lillie Belle Farms Handmade Chocolates, Rogue Creamery Cheese Shop and Harry & David, which are all worth a visit. This was our first stay here, we hope to come back for some hiking and paddle-boarding.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful stay. We visited Ashland for dinner and a show. We did the Wizard Island tour at Crater lake (the lake tour starts on the other side of the lake so a longer drive than expected). This was a nice central location to get to both. The river was running very fast so we weren't able to swim or fly fish from the property. The house was lovely and we had a great time cooking, playing games, and watching movies together. I would recommend this home to anyone.

Great River Front Getaway

Such a sweet property! The two of us, and our small dog enjoyed our July 4th weekend at this charming Rogue River front home. It was clean, provided ample space and was terrifically appointed. We’ve never seen a kitchen so well equipped! We saw wildlife every day. Including a rafter of Turkey, and a doe with her 2 fawn, and numerous birds of prey. Highly recommend.

Fantastic family getaway

This property was the perfect place for our family get together.It is so much better than it seems on the VRBO site.The house has a great view of the river and the wildlife that passes by.We saw deer and turkeys every day we were there.The porch and decks give you a wide variety of sun and shade spots throughout the day and there always seems to be a cooling breeze of off the river.Inside ,the kitchen and dining areas flow together well and the living room is huge ! The bedrooms are very comfortable.We have stayed at many places before and this was the best maintained and well equipped house we have ever stayed at.If you're looking for a quiet place to just hang out and relax, this is it !

Nice place, quiet and relaxing

Large outdoor space, lots of elbow room. Very quiet, with the mesmerizing sound of the Rogue River nearby. Spent most of the time outside on the large deck. House is well supplied with everything you need. Beds comfortable. Enough space indoors/outdoors to give everyone a private spot to relax in, if desired. Opsrey + other birds and deer on property for wildlife viewing. Watching rafters float by was also entertaining. A very nice place in a good location. Will consider visiting again in the future.

Awesome river hideaway!!

We loved our stay at this sweet Shady Cove home! Thank you for such wonderful accommodations, our gracious host Wendy has thought of everything - the house is fully stocked for you to come an enjoy. The home is very comfortable, with large open areas and nice sized bedrooms. But the main attraction for us was the location. Private and secluded but not too far from grocery shopping. This place has such a gorgeous river view and the walk down to the water among the wildflowers is magic. We fished from the river's edge and hiked about the property with our dogs. Thanks again for being so pet friendly, too! We'd love to stay again on our next Oregon road trip 😊

Summer getaway

My husband and I brought our girls, age 4 and 2. We met up with my cousin with their 3 month old baby amd 2 yr. Old. The house was incredibly perfect. Childproof , with all the lovely decorations up high so we could relax and not chase them everywhere. Even the layout of the house was conducive to two separate families with slightly different schedules. Kitchen was so well stocked with cooking supplies, even had small touches like pancake mix since we forgot ours. Plus there were movies and a wii and lots of batteries to replace the dead ones. We lacked nothing! Would love to come again.

Relaxing!

My husband and I needed a place where we could get away with our two dogs, and be completely disconnected from the world. This house was absolutely perfect. The house is clean, spacious, comfortable, and very warm (we were there over Christmas) with all the amenities one could hope for. My husband loved being able to walk down to the river and throw a fishing line in, which he did on a daily basis. I loved being able to walk the property with the dogs and not have to worry about putting them on leash. It was fun watching them romp and play near the river and run through the woods. We never had to leave the property to take them for a good walk. Overall I would highly recommend this house for anyone who wants to get away and enjoy the quiet and tranquility of the rogue river.
