Overall ok, needs some work on property

Overall cabin is great in looks. It is located in fantastic place with paragliding 10mins away. It needs improvement in top floor where A/C and hot water do not work.

Hello Arun, Sorry about your experience. As you know when you called I had someone out to the house every day to fix the hot water heater. During your stay it was discovered that the hot water heater was basically dying so we did our best to make sure you had hot water every day. I'm replacing the hot water heater this week, which couldn't be done during your stay. Also, there is an AC unit upstairs which could have been used. Best, Jason

Lovely cabin but worn out

It's a nice cabin, but it's a felt like it needed some work. Needs a good deep cleaning. The master bed squeaking is rough.

Perfect Cabin

This is a very nice, large cabin with high ceilings on a huge plot of land. Owner was extremely responsive (10/10), and the cabin quality was excellent (9/10). Ran by a few welcoming and friendly walkers as well as we drove in and out. Would book again.

Great place to unplug

Beautiful location and home. We had a 3 and 1 year old and were pretty nervous about them getting upstairs and falling through the wide beams but we just kept a close eye on them and never let them upstairs alone. The upstairs toilet also has a worn out flapper so we had to turn on the water when we wanted to flush and then off again or it would have constantly ran. Also, there is little to no Verizon signal but ATT seemed to have good coverage.

Well equipped and pretty

We enjoyed the woodsy feel and the nice countryside. Trio to downtown Chattanooga was very easy, and there were wonderful restaurants and a nice river walk. The fourth bedroom had no windows, small, no closet or hooks to hang clothes .... dark and not pleasant to sleep in. Nice amenities in other rooms and bathrooms. Couldn't find chairs to sit on porch.

This property is listed accurately and it is beautiful. It has so much charm and potential. The kitchen is well stocked and the appliances are very nice! Some downside is the dust and cobwebs on ledges, bugs in the kitchen and bath. We did alert management / owners and we were assured this would be remedied for future guests. Take note- there is only one shower for up to 12 people. Everyone must use the downstairs master bathroom for the shower.The family did enjoy the hot tub though the temperature gauge wouldn't get above 88*. That was okay for us but some wouldn't like that.This place is great, just needs a good deep clean and an exterminator.

Hey Erika, Sorry your experience wasn't what you expected. The house is cleaned after every guest. As is stated in the listing as well it is a wooden cabin in the woods so spider webs, the occasional roach or bug is very common especially in the summer. I do employ a pest service company that comes by once a month and upon your call I immediately called them and they came out and handled the wasps that they could find. As the listing clearly stated as well there is/was only one shower. As of yesterday the upstairs bathroom I just remodeled and added a second shower so shouldn't be an issue moving forward. Jason

Daughter's wedding weekend

The place was very nice and perfect for our party of 6. The hot tub was very nice! Plenty of parking. Privacy was nice. The pool table was a fun addition that we enjoyed! The bathroom upstairs does not have a shower but does have a tub), but I think it could be easily adjusted.. even with adding a curtain and just a hose head to wash hair, etc). So it did make it slightly inconvenient with 6 adults but we made it work. The coffee pot is a Keurig that takes grounds and K cups. There were no grounds/k-cups when we got there but we left what we didn't use.Overall, really enjoyed the rental! It was very cozy & relaxing and at the same time, big enough not to feel cramped. Thank you!

Beautiful Cabin

Our stay was good overall. However, a few improvements could be made as follows: The ceiling fans made noise in some rooms making it hard to sleep along with the lack of insulation. The master shower needed cleaned a little better. A suggestion to make the property more appealing would be adding a hot tub to the deck. Other than that we were very happy with our stay, the cabin was beautiful and well stocked with what we needed. Thanks so much.

A few things missing

More lighting and need bedside table lights in some rooms. Need chairs to sit out on deck. One bedroom so small, dark, no closet or hooks for clothing, shouldn't be advertised as bedroom. Overall well equipped and clean. Nice neighborhood.

Great place to get away!

This property worked perfectly for our quick getaway! The property is exactly halfway between Fall Creek Falls State Park and downtown Chattanooga! Easy to get to and very close to grocery access in Dunlap to help you stock up! We really enjoyed the layout of the rooms as they allowed us to spread out comfortably. And the pool table was a nice touch for some family fun in the evenings! Not a huge deal, but the inside could’ve been dusted a little better. Could easily be a 5 star location if the outdoor space got a little more TLC. A quick cleanup of the surrounding property (dead tree limbs mostly) and an addition of simple outdoor seating could make this an oasis! Overall, fantastic place to stay if you’re looking for a nice getaway for a few days!

Outside was overgrown, decks had not been swept or leaves blown off. Spiderwebs everywhere you walked. Kitchen was not well stocked, no casserole dishes. Convection oven fan was very loud and stayed on for an excessive amount of time. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms well stocked with towels,etc. There was not power in the upstairs bedroom so we had to look for the fuse box to flip the switches back on. The record player in the living room needs a needle, it doesn’t work. The hot tub outside did not appear clean. Overall, this place needs a deep clean inside and out.

Nice place

Would've liked for the beds to be a little more comfortable. The TV in the bedroom upstairs didn't work, not sure if it's a remote issue or not. Should recommend Wal Mart instead of Sav Mor!! that store doesn't have all of the things you need & Wal Mart is just as close. Had to cut our trip short & they didn't say anything about maybe giving a little money back! I personally would probably not return but think everyone should make their own opinion!! Beautiful surroundings, I just wish we would've had more time to enjoy!! Overall I would recommend them !!

Parking was great, hot tub was so relaxing, beautiful scenery and beds were so comfortable! I accidentally spilt a drink and cleaning supplies were easy to find. I forgot a hair dryer and they had one! We had a family meal we cooked at the cabin they had all cooking supplies there for us! The kids loved the game room best but my favorite part was the Creedence Clearwater Revival record they had on the record player! Over all amazing stay and we loved it!
