Difficult access
We very much enjoyed our stay at Tiki 31 on Fort Walton Beach. We were able to get in 20 minutes early which was nice. The location is wonderful and highly recommend the beach and it's proximity to restaurants, expecially Stewby's. We were disappointed that it took us several calls and days to get our umbrella and complimentary chairs. Once we talked to Chandler at Lazy Days (walk to the right when you go on the beach), he set us up for it. Lazy Days got bought out by Dolci Veta or some similar name and the folks on the phone were not able to help us.
The beach access code 4213 was very frustrating and would take any where from 3-20 attempts to access. The lock needs to be lubricated so it will engage. The condo was fine accept for there were on 4 forks. Please get some more. Also a ceiling fan in the bedroom would be greatly appreciated. We enjoyed walks on the beach and the view from our condo and sitting on the porch. On the final day, we walked on the beach and came back to find our access code no longer worked at 8:30 am. We called multiple times and could not get a hold of anyone. Finally at 9 am we were able to talk with Randy who gave us a new code after multiple different attempts. We requested to have a later check out but never heard back. This was terribly incovenient to be locked out with all of our belongings inside.
