Live like a LOCAL in this private and historical bungalow in a residential part of dynamic East Austin. Top restaurants, cafes, craft breweries, BBQ, food trucks, bars and music are steps away by foot, bike or scooter. Outdoorsy type? Town lake is a few blocks south: stroll, run, or bike along the 10-mile loop of shaded trail and boardwalk; or rent a SUP or kayak. Or hang home and kick-back by the pool, in the hammock, or by the firepit in the shared courtyard. *$500 fee for smoking*.

No smoking inside or outside. No Parties/Events. No Pets. Guests will be charged full security deposit + $500 cleaning fee, and will be asked to leave in the event of any parties, pets, or smoking.

This 1930s bungalow features all original shiplap and hardwood floors, teardrop siding, and a beautifully landscaped yard with shared pool, shaded by the canopy of an old-growth elm tree. Completely renovated and equipped with all modern comforts, this 2-story house offers 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a dedicated work space, reading nook, and workout loft. Enjoy the well-appointed kitchen, equipped with all you need to prepare a delicious meal. Eat the breakfast counter, or out on the back porch. Fast fiber internet, Smart TV, stocked coffee bar.

There are 2 houses on the property (common in east Austin) -- guests will have the entire bungalow (2BD/2BA, kitchen, living room, laundry, office, workout loft), front porch and back patio, and small front yard to themselves.

It's very easy to get around in the neighborhood. There are plenty of walkable restaurants, bars, music venues, sights, cafes, parks, food stores and shops. Scooters and bikes are also frequently parked and available for rent around the neighborhood if you don't want to walk, and of course there is Uber/Lyft. If you have your own car, we offer parking in the driveway or along the street is free. (Just please be mindful of our neighbors!)

The driveway, courtyard, pool, hammock, and firepit are SHARED with the other bungalow.

The pool is NOT heated and will be closed annually October 1 thru March 1.

>No food or glasses in the pool. Guests will be charged full security deposit and may be asked to leave in the event of any food or glasses found in the pool.
