We had a great stay. The water in the shower was a little hard get set (too hot-too cold) but we found out if you put it on the C and then micro adjust from there it was fine. The house was clean and beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

Awesome house

This place is exactly how advertised. We had plenty of room and all the amenities we needed. It just happened to be really close to where we were visiting while in town. Easy to get around to lots of different tourist-y things too! We would definitely stay there again!

Tucson at it's best

Uber Cute Bungalow

Great place! Nicely appointed, simple modern design, clean, comfortable and quiet. Had everything we needed for a quick 2 day trip with our doggies and son. Added bonus the games for our son. He dug the retro Nintendo and the small fenced yard for us was perfect with our tiny dogs. If ever back in the Tucson area again we will for sure book another stay.

Just wow!!! Very comfortable, Centrally Located

We just loved Christina and Chris’s place. We are silversmiths and came to town for the Gem Show. We also took classes AND stayed longer to do some sightseeing! This place is centrally located, in a nice neighborhood and so very comfortable! We plan on returning next year! It’s a wonderful guest house for 2 people or for two couples. Just book it!!

Gorgeous home in great area with fantastic hosts

My family enjoyed our thanksgiving in this gorgeous home. The hosts were amazing. The house was fully stocked with pots, pans, air fryer, cable TV, great wireless service. There is even a private patio where you can sit out at night around a fire. This is my favorite place to stay in Tucson. It is quite and cozy and the entire place is brand new and sparkling clean. You will not regret booking a stay here.

Absolutely Perfect!

The Purple Door is one of the best short term rentals we have stayed in! The check in process was easy, plenty of parking, great communication from the host.The property was clean and had all of the necessities. All of the details added made it such a fun place to stay - turntable, games, etc. The common area is very open and a great hangout space.We only had one night in Tucson, but we will definitely look to stay here when we visit again!Thank you Chris and Christina for hosting such an amazing little place!

Clean and Spacious

Wonderful communication with owners/managers of property. Spacious place. Comfortable beds. Kitchen Table for 6. Nice kitchen. Good laundry appliances. Street parking. Private. We stayed for U AZ family weekend. Our student stayed with us too. The couch is not comfortable. It's stiff and fits 3 people. The wifi is slow and spotty. It worked with the TV 95% of the time. I could not get my laptop to connect most of the time. Overall 5 stars and would stay here again.

Escaping the Chaos

Chris and Christina's place was beyond clean. My family is from Tucson and we were escaping repairs to our home brought about by and pipe leak. Our host were quick to respond to any messaging. We were all a bit out of moving in to their place at the last minute escape the construction. We are probably the only guest that couldn't figure out the Purple Door and we tired to check into there portion of the duplex. Chris and Christine helped us extend out stay when the repair took longer to complete. The home it self was well stocked, well layed out, and easy to move into. The only thing I could think of is perhaps some better black out curtains in the bedroom. Although we would prefer to make out next "vacation" some where outside of Tucson, we could easily take refuge at the Purple Door if we needed to.
