Very nice place with a gorgeous view. The only thing that was not mentioned was the airport noise as the place was located quite close to the planes taking off. They do have better windows to offset the noise, however, it could still be a bit loud on occasion. It was mainly if you were out on the patio though. Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay at.

Our stay at the "Luxury Hilltop Retreat in the City" was definitely one to remember. The property is listed as having "unforgettable views", and they were not lying! We truly spent hours out on the deck watching the planes land, looking out into the city, and watching the boats in the bay. I'm convinced you could spend the whole vacation just enjoying the views. Inside the house was just as good! Plenty of space, comfortable beds, a massive kitchen, and all of it very clean. One of the best parts was the communication. The property management was attentive, prompt, and thorough with their information. I had no questions when I checked in and out, and when I did have something to ask, they responded with a text in less than five minutes. I can honestly say that this was one of the best VRBO experiences that I have had! Five Stars!

Property is very close to flight path at San Diego Airport, however, the quality of the windows and doors, very much limits the noise level of planes landing and taking off. Property was very clean and all items need for a comfortable stay were provided. We walked to and from little Italy, the waterfront and the museums. I would stay here again on another visit to San Diego!

This was one of the best rental homes I have ever stayed. It was incredibly clean and in an excellent location. It had a wonderful deck. The location made easy uber rides to many places! I would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to spend some time in San Diego.

Even though we had only 1 SUV, parking on that street is very difficult. Great location. Love watching the planes land and takeoff. need more darts lol. Highly reccommend staying here.

The overall experience was good. However, when the propane ran out on the fire pit, the manager told us to change it ourselves. This involved lugging a 40-pound tank from the garage outside and into the entryway, up a curved 13-step staircase, across the kitchen and living room, and out onto the deck. Then, disconnecting the empty tank, connecting the new tank, and hauling the empty down to the garage. This is a ridiculous imposition on guests, especially at this price point.

We’re sorry the propane situation felt inconvenient. To help guests enjoy the fire pit without interruption, we provide a full backup propane tank on-site. Swapping the tank is a simple process that many guests are comfortable handling, similar to changing a tank on a standard outdoor grill. Because this is a private home rather than a full-service hotel, we don’t have on-demand staff available to perform tasks like propane tank changes during a stay.

Easy stay, great location

Came in for business trip for a couple of days with some colleagues and was very pleased with the ease of everything from check-in to check-out. Great communication and thorough documentation for anything you might have a question about. The place was super clean and very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.
