I would rank it a 4 1/2 The apartment was spacious and in a very convenient location to the subway, Penn Station, restaurants, groceries, High Line, Chelsea, etc. Manager was responsive quickly to non-working wifi and microwave oven, but not responsive about lack of heat. Heat was provided on a few very cold mornings, but was not provided on very cold evenings at bedtime even though I noted that the apartment was very cold on cold evenings. I purchased a bath matt because the tub was extremely slippery when showering. I left the matt so that the future guests do not slip. One window blind was broken and covered about half the window. The other window blind is missing. It would be an improvement if blinds could be placed in the windows so that the room could be darker at night since lots of light comes in thru the windows. New York is a noisy city but the noise beneath this apartment is very loud. Deliveries and movement of plants occur overnight and early in the mornings. Any guest will need a white noise machine or app to maintain sanity thru the noise. A few amenities would go a long way in improving one's stay. It would be nice to provide enough toilet paper and more than 1/3 of a roll of paper towels for 5 weeks. A five week stay might include about one towel per week instead of one towel for 5 weeks.
