[CANCELLATION POLICY]
➣Our cancellation policy is as follows:
One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.

➣You will have to climb approximately 20 steps from the parking area to get to the main door of the cabin
➣There is no way around this so keep this in mind before booking

[BEAR ACTIVITY]
➣There is high bear activity in this area
➣Do not leave your car unlocked. Bears can open car doors. If they enter your vehicle they will probably destroy the interior
➣Do not leave food inside the car. Bears have been known to break car windows
➣We are not responsible for any damage or injury caused by bears

[SNOW STORMS & POWER OUTAGES]
➣During the cold months (November through February) we encourage 4WD in case we get snowfall.
➣Power outages can happen when there's a snow storm.

➤If there is an amenity or feature that's not working as intended, then we would like to know about it.
➤If you let us know then we will attempt to fix it, even during your stay, as long as we get your permission
➤If you deem the issue not urgent then we can always wait until after checkout to get it addressed. We would like to know about it during your stay so we can make arrangements in advance to get it fixed prior to the next guests' arrival
➣We expect each guest to treat the property with the utmost respect. This allows us to continue providing awesome accommodations to future vacationers at a reasonable price
➣If you're looking for a place to have an immature drunken party then this is not the cabin for you
➣PARENTS: We expect you to control your children. If you can't or won't then we kindly ask that you book another cabin
➣You must be 21 years old to book this cabin. NO EXCEPTIONS

➣Guests will have access to all the amenities inside and outside the property
➣There is parking for 2 vehicles on the side of the road next to the property. The parking area is a mix of gravel and grass

Chalet Village is a charming and picturesque community located in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. This resort-like area is renowned for its stunning mountain views, cozy chalet-style cabins, and its convenient proximity to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, making it a popular destination for nature enthusiasts, couples, and families seeking a peaceful retreat.

All the attractions in the area are easily accessible by car. The back roads are windy and we encourage you to plan your arrival before dark.

➣We do not refund due to weather, driving conditions, power outages or other acts of nature that we don't & can't control. We advise you to get trip insurance
➣With the cabin being in the mountains you might lose cell service. We recommend printing directions and check-in instructions ahead of time.
➣Since this cabin is in the woods, you will see bugs, bees, scorpions, millipedes, lady bugs and all sorts of critters. We do have the cabin on a strict pest control schedule but it's impossible to eliminate all insects.
➣You might encounter bears. These are wild and dangerous animals so please do not approach them or feed them. Do not leave your car doors open, even when going inside the cabin for just a few minutes.
➣Always lock your car – bears have been known to open car doors. Some have even died inside vehicles.
➣Always dispose all trash in the bear-proof receptacle outside the cabin. Leaving trash out on the porch is asking for trouble.
