This 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom condo sleeps 12 with two king beds, one twin-over-twin bunkbed, one twin-over-queen bunkbed, a full sleeper sofa, and a twin day bed. It features a wall of large windows offering beautiful views. Ideally located near Keystone Lake so you’re just steps away from shopping, restaurants, and a short walk from the Keystone Conference Center. Guests of Decatur have access to the East Lake Clubhouse that features a pool, hot tub and sauna.
You're also within walking distance of the Mountain House Base Area lifts. Some guests choose to use the walking and biking path where they can reach the lifts in 8-10 minutes. Or you can take advantage of the resort shuttle and reach those same lifts in 2 minutes or the gondola at River Run in 6-8 minutes. The resort shuttle stop is conveniently located right outside the complex.
The architectural design of this concrete building ensures a quiet and relaxing stay. The entryway has a small area for storage of vacation gear, then you can head upstairs to the spacious living area that offers mountain views through a wall of windows. There is a flat screen TV with a full selection of DVDs, and a beautiful wood-burning fireplace. The comfy mountain furniture is perfect for curling up in front of a roaring fire, and the sofa pulls out into a full-sized bed. There are extra sheets and blankets in the closet. There is also a twin day bed in the living room for additional sleeping. The homeowner has provided a selection of board games and books for your enjoyment. Near the windows you have a bistro style table that seats four where you can enjoy a nice meal while taking in the mountain views.
The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware & tableware to make a meal away from home and features granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The dining area is set off from the main living area and comfortably seats 8 people. The guest bathroom is just down the hall and has a single sink vanity and shower/tub combination. All bathrooms are stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries.
On the main level there are two guest bedrooms. The first features a king sized bed with a flat screen TV with an ensuite bathroom. The second guest bedroom features a twin-over-twin bunk bed and a twin-over-queen bunkbed with mountain views. There is a full bathroom just down the hallway.
The primary bedroom is on the third floor and offers more beautiful views and features a king-sized bed and a flat screen TV. The primary bathroom features double sinks and a door separates the shower/jetted tub combination and toilet area for added privacy. Within the ensuite primary bathroom there is a full size washer and dryer.

Only 1 parking pass for a 12 bed condo created logistical problems. Exposed wiring on ceiling fan. Shower fixture water volume was limited too. Hot tub was murky and unsure when it was last cleaned/maintained. Excellent mountain proximity and spacious common areas otherwise. Would stay again.

We understand the challenges that can come with parking. Throughout the county, parking is very limited, and we must follow the regulations set by the building’s HOA, which allows only one parking pass for the unit. For guests needing additional parking, several nearby resort-managed public lots offer overnight parking for approximately $25 per night.
We appreciate you bringing up the concerns inside the unit. Had the exposed wiring on the ceiling fan or the shower’s water volume been reported during your stay, we would have promptly sent maintenance to address these issues. We’re always happy to resolve concerns in real time whenever possible.
The hot tub is maintained by the building HOA and is outside of our direct control. If we had been notified about the water condition, we would have immediately reported it to them to ensure it was serviced.

We took parents and an aunt with us, all elderly. Too many stairs. As soon as you entered the door you had to climb two flights of stairs. The bedroom with bunk beds was very small. You basically had to turn sideways and slide while in that bedroom. Otherwise, nice stay.

Beautiful and convient condo
Location was within 5 minutes of River Run. The condo its self was very spacious it fit our family of ten people comfortably. The views were spectacular and so cozy. There seemed to be an issue with the plumbing many of the sinks/shower heads leaked for some reason. It wasn't of any inconvience to us just something to note. What was extremely inconvenient however was the fact that they only had one parking permit available. We were a family of 10 so we drove two cars. the only option was to parking one of the cars accros the street at the convention center for 25 a night! it was inconvenient and an expensive unexpected expense, they should put that upfront and in bold on the listing for people to know before booking. There was plenty of parking space right outside which made it even more of a bumber. For that I dock the stars.

Too many maintenance issues
Our family stayed in this rental in February of this year. It was in a very good location but very outdated. Also the communication between us and the property managers was ridiculous. None of the main lighting downstairs was working so when the sun went down we basically sat in the dark. Which we were told by maintenance that was a known issue that was neglected by property managers. Our first night stay in the master loft was a disaster. We tried to use the washing machine which apparently had some type of issue and it wouldn’t drain so our clothes sat in water and it also backed up the two bathroom sinks which over flowed and flooded the restroom area. We contacted the property managers and they sent maintenance out which didn’t arrive until super late in the evening and they weren’t even equipped to fix the clog. The next day they sent two more maintenance workers and both said we needed an actual plumber to fix the issue and they informed us they notified property managers but the property managers never sent us a plumber. So the unit smelled like old dirty water for the rest of our stay which in turn made us decide to leave early and get a hotel room. For the amount of money we paid to stay here for a week we were pretty disappointed.

Communication with host was excellent, great location and amenities. Some things a bit dated and well-used, but kitchen had all we needed and enough towels ect. for our 2 day stay of 12people. Great for a group at an affordable price!

We are guest oriented, and we offer the following when you rent with us: hassle-free check-in and keycard pick-up, a generous supply of towels and an initial supply of consumables for your stay. We are also in the resort and have the longest business hours of any management company.
VACATION RENTALS VS. HOTELS Booking a vacation rental is like staying at the house of a friend. In this vacation rental you will experience significantly more space, privacy, or comforts that feel like home, including a kitchen and a location that is beyond what most hotels can offer. All this at a significantly lower cost than a hotel with comparable features. These benefits bring different considerations than a hotel. More privacy means that most guests do not want daily housekeeping. We offer a check-out clean and, for an added fee, mid-stay cleans. We also offer a starter supply of some consumables, including coffee, paper towels, toilet paper and more, but these items are not restocked during a stay. A kitchen allows you to make home-cooked meals. Guests will likely visit the store to purchase groceries. Self-sufficiency is key to a happy stay in a vacation rental. We do provide housekeeping and 24/7 maintenance, but this is primarily for properties in between stays. Our staff services vacation rentals across several square miles, unlike a hotel that manages a single building. We have to strike a balance between cost and service, and have found that our current system has struck this balance. Our hope is that our guests understand the difference between booking a hotel and a vacation rental. Together we can provide affordable vacation rentals and happy stays for everyone!
