Family friendly condo

This is a wonderful property for a small family. The pool is small but clean and tidy. The condo was clean and well cared for. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The only downside was that water near the condo was not great for swimming due to the brown color.

Excellent home base

This property was perfect for my family - the primary suite bed was notably comfortable for my husband and me (and I am pregnant so that’s a tough standard these days), the second room was perfect for our toddler, the beach was perfectly accessible, the pools were never overcrowded and all the other residents were very friendly, we always got a grill when we wanted to cook outside. The apartment was clean and well-stocked for an easy stay, and the location was a perfect jumping off point for our day trips around the island. We have traveled extensively and have pretty high standards but we would absolutely stay here again on a future visit.

2 weeks in Kihei

We stayed for 2 weeks with friends in Kihei and had a great time. The condo is located close to the sea, allows for excellent beach walks. The lanai was nice because it gives shelter on windy days as well as when the sun shines brightly at noon. Leena, the host, was excellent in her communications and was able to solve any minor issue. She was very accommodating. The place is very quiet and beach gear like chairs and umbrella were available.

Leena’s Condo

We had a great stay at this oceanfront condo in Kihei with a breathtaking sunset every evening we were there. It is stocked with almost everything you would need. Our only complaint would be that there was no working blender to make our kids smoothies in the mornings. That however was a very minor detail in comparison to all the incredible things this condo has to offer. We had a wonderful stay at Leena’s Place. We would definitely stay here again.

Great condo on the beach

The condo was easy to find, clean and centrally located and right on the beach with a great view. The second floor location provides privacy. Beds were comfortable, wifi worked well and there were enough outlets for everything we needed. Each bedroom has a bathroom attached. AC worked well, but preferably do not take a hot shower right before bed or bedroom gets a little warm and humid. The kitchen was well stocked. Spare bedroom has beach stuff in closet. The area is lush and beautiful. Overall a great place to spend time on Maui.

Perfect getaway

The property grounds are immaculate, groundskeepers and pool maintenance is done daily, they even scrub bird droppings off the sidewalks every morning. Leena was great to deal with, the condo was perfect for a family of four. We’re so glad the unit has a/c or just a fan mode to keep the place cool. The balcony has nice shade but then the sun shines nicely for the last two hours where you can watch the sunset. The kitchen is stocked perfectly and the additional beach gear of snorkels, chairs, towels and boogie boards are as a welcome addition. The location was great, it’s nice and quiet with no traffic noise. It’s not really walking distance to anything unless you like the heat. It is literally a 2min drive to all the shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay again, Mahalo Leena!

Slice of heaven

We had an amazing time visiting Maui. Leena has provided her guests with a comfortable and beautiful place to stay that has amazing ocean views in a convenient location and for a very reasonable price. She also is wonderful to work with. Very accommodating. We had a late flight on our day of checkout and she let us stay in the condo for most of that day with no extra charge. We also got our security deposit back within 24 hours of leaving. She responded to us quickly when we had a couple of small issues. She definetly wants your stay to be perfect. The condo has all the things you could possibly need. I would recommend bringing your own seasonings if you plan to do a lot if cooking as there wasnt much there. But everything else was well stocked. We loved using the boogie boards down at the beach. She also provided beach towels. Thank you Leena for making our trip everything we wanted it to be. It was perfect!

Weekend Getaway

We were able to book this location on short notice. It was a great way to spend the weekend after my husband was in the field. It was nicely located to food, grocery and outdoor activities. It was cleaner than the reviews posted. We could totally stay here again. The parking was confusing when we arrived only because of the numbered slots however it was open parking and easy after the first initial attempt.

Was fantastic!

The master king bed was so comfortable!! We slept so well. We took our 17&19 yer old sons and the whole condo accommodated us very well. The wide deck was great for the 4 of us for breakfast in the morning, The 2 bathrooms were perfect for the 4 of us as well and necessary. We enjoyed the location and the facilities. We went in the hot tub in the evenings after our long days of adventure. It was great to have beach chairs and a cooler. Leena was easy to deal with and the condo was also in a great location. Easy to leave kehei for our daily adventures and close enough to grab groceries etc. thank you Leena!!

First Trip to Hawaii

Took my mom for her birthday, it was our first trip to Hawaii, and we had an amazing time!! The condo was perfect! Communication with owner was easy with quick replies answering all my questions. The unit had everything we needed for cooking meals, going to the beach, and for the baby to sleep and play without us having to pack a bunch of extra stuff! The view from the condo was beautiful and we spent so much time on the balcony. We would definitely return!

Quick Maui visit

We really enjoyed Leena’s condo for a few reasons. The beds were very comfortable, the condo was bright and kitchen full of everything we needed, but what was great is her cupboard or chairs, coolers etc. We loved the location because we wanted to travel easily to Paia, kannapali and downtown Kehie. We also did enjoy the large lawn on the property and walking the beach in the mornings.

Maui Vacation

We really enjoyed the location and view of this condo unit. Condo was very well supplied with beach gear, and some other supplies. We had no hot water one morning so I contacted the condo owner and she responded right back to me. Issue was resolved in a timely manner. The master bathroom shower is on the small size and the bathroom could use a little paint update but orherwise was good. Rest of the unit was in fairly great condition. The use of beach gear was awesome and there is a lot available to use. The complex itself could use a bathroom by the pool and some general maintenance but overall it was nice.

Great setting and perfect view and location

Leena, thanks you for sharing your great condo and your quick replies to our concerns. Criticizing comments. The construction for those that would need to spend their days at the condo. We were out and about most times and it didn't bother us except the parking was always taken up by the construction crew, but not a big issue as there always seemed to be other open spots. Missed the landline phone to make local calls as we left all our data, tech stuff behind to get away from it all. The combination to the pool area was always a fun Hot Tub discussion, don't understand why a simple 3 number code couldn't be used instead of a 9 digit combination ? The condo was well equipped with all the necessary beach gear needed as well as well stocked with necessary start up basics and linens. Internet was good, interior well kept and very clean. Works very well for a vacation rental with everything necessary for a comfortable and pleasant holiday. Will definitely look it up again for availability on the next trip. Thank you very much Leena.

Relaxing and comfortable stay

We stayed in this condo December 2018. It was very clean, new renovated/painted, and included everything for a relaxing stay near the beach. There is a small open grassy area between the condo and the beach to play shuffle board and a sandy court for volleyball. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had all the basic amenities for our stay. There is a pool and hot tub to enjoy. As well, the condo had a few beach chairs and toys to use and the beach was a short walk to enjoy listening to the waves and watching sunsets. While the ocean was rocky, it was just a short drive to the Kamaole beaches for sand, swim and snorkel.

Great Stay in Kihei

We received great communication from the owner prior to the visit, which made arrival very easy even after hours. When we arrived there was a mix-up on sheets for the hide-a-bed, and we got quick communication from the owner, and the housekeeper showed up early the next morning to resolve the issue. We were impressed by the level of service. Pros: The condo is a short walk across grass to the beach. While the beach is a bit rocky and without much snorkeling or surf, it was a beautiful place to watch the sunset each night. The orientation of the unit allowed a viewing of the sunset even in the dead of winter (it would set in more clear view between summer and fall), but that also meant the unit was not in the blinding light or overheated due to the sun bearing down through the windows. The unit was up to date, and had a ton of kitchen appliances and supplies. The condo complex is a short drive from many beaches, restaurants, and shopping. The pool area is fine (hot tub a little too hot, pool a little too cold), but there were five BBQ's available for some easy grilling in the sunshine. The unit had several boogie boards, about five sets of fins, three beach chairs, a cooler, and some sand toys. That was wonderful to have available for our beach going. Cons: The construction is ongoing. It appears the major project is fixing/replacing the decks on each unit. I can happily say that the deck on this unit is done and beautiful. They were working on the stack next to this unit when we were there, specifically jackhammering the concrete on the deck next to the unit's bathroom. We were away enjoying other parts of Maui during the day, so it had little effect for us, and over the next few weeks they should be further down the stacks of units where the noise will be lower again. There is nothing but the beach in walking distance, but it is a great jumping pad to all parts of the island. The last consideration is there are no spices or condiments. I'm guessing that is done for health reasons. But you may find it more convenient to pack some of the spices you will use for your cooking instead of buying large containers for a one time use. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, and would look to this unit (or at least this area) for a great mix of location, experience and value.

Wonderful view, clean, spacious and great location

We enjoyed our stay so much! Everything we needed was at the condo. We loved being so close to the pool area and the view of the ocean was perfect. Leena was so prompt responding to email inquiries. I would highly recommend staying here!

Cozy condo, great view, 75 yards from the beach!

I loved my stay at this condo in Kihei! Although the beach in front of the condo was a bit rocky, it was great for watching morning sunrises and taking leisurely walks. The condo itself is lovely with two bedrooms separated by the kitchen & living areas. It is fully furnished and had great perks such as beach gear (loved the beach chairs & umbrellas), beach towels, A/C, and access to the condo's pool, hot tub, and BBQ's. The king size bed in the master bedroom is comfy and the 2 separate baths convenient. The large balcony overlooking the pool area & with a wonderful view of the ocean is great for sipping your morning coffee. The condo is in a great location in N. Kihei, so not directly next to shopping & restaurants, but that was a plus! We enjoyed driving a few minutes into the main part of town to check out restaurants, beaches, etc. The only negative thing I can think of would be that the twin beds in the 2nd bedroom were less comfortable for grown adults, but I'm sure children would be fine. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Maui!

Great unit

This is a very nice 2 bedroom unit. It is located on the second floor with a great view of the ocean, the beautiful lawn area and the pool. Very clean and comfortable. The owner was nice and very quick to respond to our questions. We would love to come and stay in this unit again.
