The Space:
Welcome to The Highlander, a luxe vacation rental for the adventurer who seeks seclusion and serenity in high-end comfort. Designed with utmost care and attention to detail, the Highlander’s stunning floor-to-ceiling windows connect you seamlessly with the raw beauty of the desert. During your stay, expect to enjoy a dip in the rooftop jacuzzi beneath the starry sky, kick back around a bonfire, or enjoy a fun game night inside. The Highlander boasts 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms with two indoor living spaces and three outdoor living spaces. Dual primary bedrooms allow for optimal comfort for multiple families.
The Highlander comfortably sleeps 12 and upon request, can sleep 14 with 2 professionally prepared rollaway twin beds. All beds are prepared with luxuriously soft, hotel-quality linens and all bathrooms are outfitted with clean, fresh towels for every guest. Cleanliness is our promise, and we strive for a 5 star stay- everytime. Please note that the rollaway beds are professionally prepared only upon request.
The Highlander’s upstairs space boasts two primary bedrooms, a kitchenette, a wet bar, and a large living space outfitted with a Smart TV, sofas and a ping-pong table. The main primary bedroom stands above the rest as it features a large stand-alone soaking tub with views of the desert all around. Both primary bedrooms feature opulent en-suite bathrooms and large walk-in closets. Downstairs, you will find the home’s full-sized kitchen, living space, and two bedrooms.
On the balcony, The Highlander offers the perfect place to look up at a dark, starry night without light pollution of any kind. With the desert all around, you are sure to enjoy meals around the luxe Polywood dining table or relaxation in the spacious hot tub. Down below, The Highlander offers a firepit with comfortable Adirondack chairs around and a large grill. Additionally, The Highlander has two small decks- perfect for storm watching or catching up on your favorite book.
The home is maintained and stocked with the utmost attention to detail for our guests' every need. The comfortable living spaces each includes plenty of seating on the plush sofas and chairs, Smart TV’s, board games for the whole family and expansive views through the panoramic windows. The kitchen is fully stocked with quality cutlery, silverware, dishes, pots / pans, baking dishes and utensils. We also offer most small appliances such as a coffee pot, crockpot, blender, mixer, and more. Everything you need to make your vacation easy and seamless!
Conveniently located near Lake Powell's abundant recreational opportunities, The Highlander serves as a gateway to thrilling water activities, scenic hikes, and memorable explorations. Whether using The Highlander as a crash pad throughout your National Parks circuit or a getaway while enjoying Lake Powell, you can easily travel to:

1. To keep our property active on all booking platforms, we abide by certain policies that are listed in the "Additional House Rules" section. Please closely review these rules prior to booking, as we have a Zero Tolerance Policy and will firmly enforce all regulations posted in this listing.
2. We strongly encourage all guests to purchase travel insurance either through the booking site or via a personal policy.
3. Professionally prepared rollaway twin beds are available upon request. Please contact Kiki to coordinate if these additional beds suit the needs of your group.
4. Due to the nature of the outdoors and weather systems- the jacuzzi may, at times, have sand at the bottom. This does not indicate uncleanliness- it is cleaned upon arrival for every guest but some sand is likely to occur from the strong winds coming through our area.
5. Unapproved late checkout is subject to a fee of $100/hr after the established checkout time.
6. This is a smoke-free property. Violation is subject to a $500 fee plus actual remediation costs.
7. Excessive cleaning due to unwashed dishes, trash left throughout the house, or other significant messes will result in an additional charge proportionate to the time required by our cleaning team beyond a standard turnover.
