Rental unit needs some maintenance, bathroom sink leaks, toilets were not properly flushing, air filter was dirty, dishwasher not empty, an old light broken(not used), key pad did not light up. Host was slow to respond to issues with parking pass. Made it stressful for renters.

Family getaway!

My family & I really enjoyed our stay! The condo was clean, and description was accurate! We had a blast, owner was easy to contact and answered any questions in a timely manner! Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a beach stay! Great location, right on the beach, nice size pool & hotub and elevator access.

Not clean, spare bedroom, television didn’t work. Both bathroom sinks leaked the spare bedroom twin beds were disgusting. The pillows were stained and smelled. The noise was such a disturbance with the construction underneath. Thought we were going to be able to look right at the ocean instead we were looking Down gulf Boulevard. My sisters had stayed in other beach. There were giving a 10% discount back because of the inconvenience of parking and noise. The deck was dirty and never chairs were all rusty except two otherwise we had to put towels over them to sit in them. Would not recommend this to anyone we made it through the three weeks you can say we had no choice. The price was so over what everyone else paid.

I'm sorry you felt disturbed by street level construction on a garage, especially being on the 5th floor. You asked for a discount just prior to checkout, but if you’d let me know sooner about the noise, the cleaning concerns, or anything else, I could’ve fixed it on the spot — moved you to another unit, sent housekeeping back, whatever it took to make it right. I genuinely want every stay to be great! Posting pics of the furnace room & of an air filter, calling the condo dirty is misleading and unfair. That’s a utility closet, not a guest space.

The property worked great for our family vacation. The condo had plenty of beach items for use which was an added bonus. We had some issues with a key and the owner solved the problem quickly for us. Overall a great stay.

Beautiful Condo

Very spacious condo for a family of six with some nice amenities. My family and I visit the Clearwater area annually to see relatives. This condo is certainly one of my first choices when we return to the area. The owner/Cindy is great to work with.

Property was well maintained, very roomy!

Property was very nice! Loved the view of the ocean and the inter coastal! My kids loved watching the draw bridge and looking for dolphins in the inter coastal! Room is very roomy and comfortable! The area is quiet and the beach was not crowded at all. The pier was fun to fish off of. Would stay at th sand dollar again anytime!

I really enjoyed my stay only problem I had was the a/c stopped working took 24hrs +to get fixed

Overall review of property was great but the cleaning company good do a slightly better job. We had to move the couch & it had definitely not been swept under before we arrived.

I'm sorry the a/c went down for a day, sometimes things happen that are beyond our control. Thankfully, we have a wonderful maintenance company that got it going again in 24 hours!

Great Value for Money!

We stayed here 6/30/12 for 7 nights and had a great time. The condo is very clean and well equipped (except no towel rail or hooks in guest bathroom). The view from the balcony is great as you can see the beautiful beach to the left and the intracoastal waterway to the right. Cindy (the owner) was always very quick to respond to my emails and has been a pleasure to deal with. I am sure we will be back! :-)

Sand Dollar Getaway

Cindy was absolutely amazing! We checked in on Memorial day weekend and the rental company forgot our wrist bands for the property. By the time realized the company was closed for the long weekend - Cindy called me personally and let us use her personal stash - Thank you so much!! The condo was spacious and easily accommodated our family of 5. Extra beach towels and toys for the sand was a definite plus! Highly recommend this property as well as the owner 🌊

Great location

My family loved the location of this property!!! The heated pool was wonderful and the hot tub is HOT! We loved the amenities. The condo itself needs to be cleaned better. There were cockroaches that we had to kill in the 2nd bathroom. However, the beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has all the cooking accessories you could want. The condo is spacious for a family. We took the stairs every time because the elevator is very slow. Overall the condo was sufficient but I would not stay there again due to the lack of cleaning.

I'm happy to hear the beds are very comfortable. I’m happy to hear that the kitchen has all the accessories you could want. The condo is indeed, very spacious. If the only issue was that the condo wasn't clean enough, that bothers me greatly to hear! It's such an easy issue to remedy. One call to my management company would’ve remedied the situation. They can’t help if they don’t know.

Best of two views

My family loved your condo. The views of the beach and the intercoastal were amazing. We spent many hours on the deck enjoying them both. The beach was clean, the water was calm, and the pool and hot tub were added bonuses. We were able to find beach chairs to use. The condo was comfortable and well stocked. The coffee maker broke near the end of our stay. I did report it to the office. Found a great coffee place down the road- Bad Ass Coffee. What an amazing value for the price. Family vacation. The location of the property was perfect! The beach was well supervised and clean. Loved the cool and lighter brown/white sand. The condo’s pool was kept clean daily and nice. The condo itself was nice for this location, a little outdated, a few spots were missed in cleaning, spiderwebs and dust, not huge deal. The rooms were spacious, but one room did not have a ceiling fan or ceiling lights. The remotes for the lights in the other two rooms and living room, seemed to work off of the same circuit. You would turn off or on the light and it would work opposite down the hall or living room. Only a small table light, in the twin bed room. It was equipped for the beach. It was equipped for dishes, however we had to go buy bathroom shampoo and wash. We had to buy garbage bags, etc. Condo has 1 elevator for all floors, so slow. We also had trouble with condo lobby lock and codes. It was not only us. It was other visitors as well. They had to end up, taping off the main door to the lobby.Overall it was worth it and would probably stay again.

Can't wait to visit again in the fall!!!!

This was our group's second stay in this condo. It was like coming home after a long and tough day's work to relax in a comfortable, clean and air conditioned condo with plenty of room for our group of six. It really is so comfortable... it's like being in your own home except on the beach and you don't have to go to work when you get up! We love this place! The balconey is on the side of the building, but you have wonderful views of perfect sunsets to the left and then you can watch for dolphins going by on the Intercoastal Way to the right! Cindy is an exceptionally wonderful and sweet person and makes renting her condo so stress free. I love this condo so much that I am bringing my mom, sister and nieces back this fall for a girls' week! Thank you Cindy for being so wonderful and for letting us stay in your beautiful condo! :)

Nice Condo, Great Beach!

My family and I, a total of 9 of us. Stayed here for 4 days. The location and the beach are great. The condo is very spacious and was very accomodating. We did have a couple of complaints though. When we arrived at the condo there was hair ALL over the bathroom floors. I found it odd since the condo smelled like lysol when we walked in and there were "just sanitized" tags on the toilet seats .Also, the few cups and bowls that we used from the cabinets had obvious food left in them. So, I don't know how well everything was actually cleaned. The beds were also not very comfortable. The master bed apparently felt that the bed was too soft and everyone in the other 2 rooms complained that the other beds were very worn and hard. The condo was a good deal for the price and the location. If we were to stay here again I would try to arrive early enough in the day to call housekeeping if there were issues with the cleanliness again.

I wish you would have contacted housekeeping or me. Either way, we would've had someone there the very next morning! We have a wonderful management company that is very conscientious and prides itself on responding to our guests. As for the mattresses, I had them replaced last week. I've heard they're very comfy!

Highly recommend staying here!

We recently stayed here with 3 of our friends (there were 5 of us total), and we had a wonderful time. The property is exactly as pictured. Everything was very clean on arrival. Now, the unit is listed as having a blender, but we couldn't find one and we really wanted margaritas...but hey, beer/wine is fine too. :) Just fyi, you might want to bring your own if you really like your blended drinks! Dealing with Cindy, the unit owner, was a breeze. Super nice lady who made things simple. Also, the price for a full week during the off season was very affordable. Much less than all of the other places we looked at. Don't let the low price worry you--it's just a great deal for a great place! Everyone at the front desk was helpful as well. The beach is beautiful. We went kayaking in the Gulf and on the Intracoastal. The pool and hot tub are fun and everything around the condo was quiet and relaxed. I definitely recommend eating at The Conch Republic if you enjoy seafood, and it's only a couple of miles up the road. Definitely stay here, and you'll have a great vacation!

You made a great point Hillary, don't be worried by the low price - I just rather have it rented than empty. It's a great condo, at a great price! Now, let me see about replacing that blender! Cindy

Best vacation

The condo is huge, the appliances are all very nice & the kitchen is stocked with everything you will need. Including kids plates, cups & bowls which my 3 kids loved! The rooms are all very spacious with a lot of closet space. To all the parents thinking of renting this condo: you won't have to bring a thing. There is a closet with tons of beach toys, boogie board, balls, beach chairs, umbrella, & even little trucks, crayons & coloring books. The pool & hot tub are very nice with lot's of seating. The beach is BEAUTIFUL! The powdery white sand is so nice. Clearwater Beach is one of our favorite places & is only about 20 min. away. Pier 60 at night is a good time. Clearwater Marine Aquarium (Winter the dolphin from the movie Dolphin Tale) is only about a 25 min. drive. Indian shores coffee is great. The Conch Republic just down the road had really good seafood esp. for the price. We loved the balcony for early morning dolphin watching on the intercoastal & evening sunsets too. We had an amazing vacation, made lots of memories & loved the condo. Cindy is the BEST owner I've ever rented a condo from & we hope to rent again in the future!

Family Spring Break

Pros: The condo unit was exactly as described. Very spacious, lots of room for the 7 of us to enjoy. Comfortable beds and living room furniture. Great Location. Beach was literally right past the pool. Not too crowded. Balcony had plenty of furniture and you could see both the ocean and the intercoastal from your perch on the 5th floor. You can rent beach lounger/cabanas. Lots of parking. Cons: The elevator. Not only is it super slow but it is small and cramped. Wish there were more dishes. Not enough bowls for everyone. Could really use a keyless door. Sounds like there used to be one and it broke. Hard to share keys for 7 for the condo unit, bathroom by the pool and staircase. Not enough chairs by the pool. If you don't get down early you will not get a chair. People would "reserve" 8 chairs for their group and only 2 were at the pool, no idea where the rest of their group was maybe the beach. There were multiple groups that did this.

I fell in love with this condo initially because of its location. My girls were babies at the time of purchase and I wanted a vacation property to be stress-free. The thought of packing up all our beach needs, dragging it & my babies to a spot 'steps from the beach' didn't sound stress-free. I didn't want to be 'near' the beach, I wanted a property ON the beach. I love to simply walk outside & this stunning beach is at your feet.

The fishing pier is amazing! It's beautiful and private to our building.
We have a beachside pool and hot tub - heated year round.
Our building attracts families, both young and old. I love that multi-generations of a family can vacation together & everyone is comfortable. We've met wonderful people around the pool area, from all over the world.
