Beautiful house, stunning views of the bay. Beds extremely comfy. We had a fantastic time. Resident town husky/malamute was sweet.

We enjoyed our stay although was not aware water from taps was brown prior to booking and concerned about drinking although was told it was drinkable. Unfortunately the furnace was not working so was cool on main floor for our stay and they were unable to get it working. Floors all have dips in them and sinks randomly gurgle . They property manager was wonder to deal with as answered inquiries quickly and worked with us on any issues we hadBeautiful view and Twillingate is well worth visiting .

Spacious amenity-filled house on idyllic Bay ideal for exploring Twillingate region.

The house is well maintained, full amenities, great yard & views of bay & surrounding hills with comfortable beds, well outfitted kitchen. Very private & quiet. Good parking. Check in system very smooth with door code & helpful host. Spectacular region to explore. Thank you!

Beautiful location

Beautiful location with wonderful views over the harbour. We really liked gathering in the family room which had lots of windows to enjoy the great views. The kitchen was also great and well equipped to happily cook and eat meals together. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. The property manager was good to communicate with. And you can go for rambles over the hills right from the door!

Early June visit to Twillingate

This was such a beautiful place to stay! It was exactly as described-quiet and serene. We enjoyed the beauty of nature surrounding this home- set in a pristine cove. Directions provided to us were very precise and easy to follow. The home itself was easy to settle in to. We appreciated the cleanliness, comfort and order in the home.

Great Location Beautiful Setting

Overall the place was very nice and I would not hesitate to stay there again. However I am 6'4" tall and had to bend over to walk upstairs the ceilings are very low I would venture to guess they are only 6'-0" ceilings. All the bedrooms and the master bath are like this. I ended up using the Downstairs bath which was very nice. Again not a deal killer just be aware of this if you are over 6' tall. We used the grill it was in very nice shape and clean. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots, pans and plates glasses etc... Only other issue was the microwave didn't work. We were late in checking out thought Checkout time was 11, which we found in other VRBO's on the Island, Yes we should have read the book. Host sent email about 10:05 informing us about the check out time we were packed and out by 10:25 They were very gracious and I apologize for the misunderstanding, totally our fault. Again wonder location and home.

Beautiful quiet location. House needs maintenance

A beautiful view in a lovely quiet cove. Very peaceful. The property had most amenities we needed for our family. Comfortable beds, lots of towels, well equipped kitchen & nice deck & bbq. Also nice fenced yard for our dog. What was also noticed were some maintenance issues. The clothes dryer in kitchen area was extremely noisy & not usable. Some of the windows needed work, we could open but they would not close properly & had broken mechanisms. There was no propane firepit as advertised. A breaker in the electrical panel blew when we used the 2 heaters provided. A deck chair was broken & colapsed when a family member sat in it. There were no table lamps in 3 of 4 bedrooms or the living room. The check in time of 4pm was late & check out time of 10am early, not standard for most rentals. (Usually 3pm & 11am) The owner was accomodating & let us check out later upon request which was much appreciated. We were a bit disappointed considering paying over $1200 for 3 days stay. Improvements should be made to bring this property up to par.

Thanks for the review Ann! As mentioned to you, we've had the dryer looked at and it is a bit loud, but still dries the laundry well, Our cleaning team uses it 3-4 times a week. We really value and appreciate the feedback you sent, as this is our first year running this as a vacation rental, there are of course things that we will address going forward. We do most days need the 10-4 window as this is a big house, which has an outdoor kitchen as well, we do try to allow for early check-in and late checkouts where possible. Thank you!
