My wife Hollie and our 5 children have a family motto: "Find Adventure!" We have traveled with our children extensively in North America, including all 50 states, Canada, Mexico, and several countries in Central America, Asia and Europe. We love all things outdoors, including Mountain biking, motorcycles, hiking, backpacking, boating, snow skiing, camping, and anything else that pushes our limits.

Our Newest Adventure i building this Hobby farm and Ranch of Miniature Highland Cattle, plus whatever other animals Hollie can fit into the back of our Prius!

We love meeting people from around the world who come to stay with us here at The Grand Ranch. We hope to see you soon!

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

Kanarraville Utah is such a beautiful and serene part of our country. Nestled just outside the mountains and Cliffs of Zion National Park, the scenery and location for outdoor fun is incredible. With all 4 seasons, there is plenty to do here year round. The Grand Ranch is located just north of this quiet town of 400 hundred residents, and about 10 minutes south from Cedar City, Utah, with all the shopping and amenities you may need during your stay with us.

We purchased this 40 acre sheep field in May of 2021 as a bare piece of dirt with only 1 tree. Brandon is the one-man-show in developing our ranch. There has been nothing done here he didn't do! From trenching wires and laying fence, to building these guest homes, everything shows his hard work and skill. (Hollie bragging here! And the kids helped too!)

Hollie can't stop herself from buying animals. She has replaced going to the gym with mucking stalls and turning compost. Her favorite thing (other than collecting animals) is sharing these beautiful and fun creatures with others.

Our current menagerie includes: Highland cattle, Alpaca, Nigerian Dwarf Goats, chickens, dogs, kittens...and, oh yes, human kids too.

We moved to this quaint little town of Kanarraville, UT to escape the hustle of everyday life. Now we're busier than ever...but in a different way, and we love being connected to each other, our kids, our animals, and neighbors. We hope you'll come share this simple, happy life with us too!

We know you'll fall in love with this little corner of the world. We promise we wont make you do any farm chores, and you can relax in the simplistic beauty of country life. What are you waiting for? Welcome to The Grand Ranch!

Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig

The Grand Ranch is a unique and special place to visit. You get the opportunity to grow with us as every day things change around here. From our cattle and sheep ranching heritage, to our newly planted orchard, you get to enjoy the beauty of being on a working Farm and Ranch...without all the work!

Enjoy our animals! You can feed the cattle treats over your private back patio fence. Or just watch as they play and nap in the pasture of your 'back-yard!' The goat pen is a shared area available to guests who want to play with and feed the goats.

If you're looking for a relaxing a quiet getaway, this is the place! If you're looking for outdoor adventure and exploration, there is plenty do just outside our front gate. Kanarraville is nestled right up against the back-door of Zion! And you know what they say...'Backdoor friends are best!' We agree! Once you've been to this beautiful spot of the world, you'll never want to leave again.
