House was as described. Beds were very comfortable. The view was amazing and the location couldn’t have been better. Able to walk to many restaurants and shops.

The house is beautiful and clean and is just a short walk to Kennebunkport where there is great shopping and food! We hope to be back in the future!

Great location!

We picked this home based on location and were not disappointed. Our family loved seeing the boats come in & out, watching fisherman on the docks and walking to great food and shopping. Our young children loved playing with the games provided and playing football in the large back yard. I reached out to the property manager on a few occasions during our stay and she was very responsive and friendly.

Doanes wharf

Overall the rental house was comfortable and accommodating. Great view of the marina and the boats coming and going. Only footsteps from town where there is plenty of shopping and restaurants. Location is nice because it’s central to attractions south towards York and north towards Portland. Nice if you have a large family as there is plenty of room for 8 to sleep. Parking was a bit of an issue, as the marina fills up on the weekend. Because of the location it is still a desirable place to stay

Great location!!

We had a great time at Doanes Wharf! The house is in a perfect location to walk into Kennebunkport. Also short drive to the beach. The house was clean, stocked with basic supplies, and layout was great for two families of 4. Great yard for games. Grocery shopping service is amazing! The marina is busy and there are a lot of people around the house and yard. This didn’t bother us but something to consider. Our only wish was that the windows on the first floor would open. They are original to the house and difficult to operate, torn screens etc. No AC on first floor. Overall it was a great vacation!!

OUTSTANDING VIEWS AND LOCATION!

The Perfect Girls’ Weekend at Doane’s Wharf! I stayed at Doane’s Wharf over Labor Day Weekend with four of my girlfriends, and we absolutely loved it! We each had our own bedroom, and there was so much space throughout the house for us to cook, relax, laugh, and spend time together without ever feeling crowded. The location is incredible. We parked our cars on Thursday and never got back into them until Monday morning when we checked out! We walked all over Kennebunkport for fantastic dining, shopping, sightseeing, and cocktails. One of our favorite parts of the entire stay was spending our mornings and evenings in the yard, sitting in the Adirondack chairs overlooking the marina and Kennebunk River. Watching the wildlife and beautiful boats go by with coffee in the morning—and again while winding down at night—was just magical. Doane’s Wharf is the perfect combination of space, waterfront New England charm, and an unbeatable walkable location. It was everything we wanted for our girls’ getaway. And Salt & Shine was, hands down, the best vacation rental agency we have ever stayed with. Their communication, attention to detail, and hospitality were exceptional from beginning to end. Five stars all around. We would come back in a heartbeat! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
