Visiting Family

The house was comfortable , and I was impressed how well the kitchen was stocked with dishes, cookware and utensils. It was clean and well maintained. Would stay there again.

Great house!

We stayed here to attend a basic training graduation at Ft Jackson. We loved that it was convenient to the base. We also had the space for the family to gather with our soldier when he could go off base on graduation day. This was much more comfortable than a hotel, and was very clean.

Our stay at Cedar Terrace was exceptionally comfortable. We felt secure in the neighborhood, which was remarkably quiet. We arrived precisely at check-in time and accessing the home was effortless. Communication with Vanessa was prompt and courteous. Although the home is older, it was clean and well-maintained, boasting a distinctive charm that left us wishing we could extend our stay.

Son’s Basic Training Graduation

Worked out perfectly for us. Not too far from the post. Enough room for all. Easy to take the dogs in and out with plenty of room for them. Would use it again if we needed to.

The kitchen was fully stocked and there was plenty of everything we would have needed if we had planned on cooking there. However, we were there very briefly and had take out instead. Our only issues were a very dirty oven and a smell of fish in the disposal that we couldn't get rid of. Both problems were conveyed to the home owners.

Comfortable home but needs improvement

The home is comfortable, lots of space for in the living room and kitchen/dining area. The beds were also comfortable with plenty of closet space. The house wasn't very clean, the floors weren't clean for quite some time as our socks and feet were black when walking. Also under the furniture was filthy (our boys toys went under the couch and there was food, layers of dust, etc). The neighborhood was fine, we walked our dog and felt safe.it was quiet and easily accessible to restaurants and activities. When we first arrived our code to enter wasn't working, we contacted the property managers and they were extremely helpful and re-set the code the two times we had the issue. There is a basement unit with other guests. There isn't much insulation for noise and we often heard their conversation, TV,, etc. The thermostat was also constantly changing in our unit, turning down to 60°. Not sure why as it says this unit only has access to the unit thermostat? Overall it's a great house, but could use some improvements.

Not what's advertised- I didn't feel comfortable 😕 Where do I begin? There isn't a paved driveway, and the exterior lighting is poor. The home wasn't clean—floors were dirty, the couch was dingy, and there was pet hair everywhere. The chair cover in the master bedroom needs to be washed as it's full of stains. The carpet in the basement room needs to be replaced or at least shampooed. The trash can was already halfway full, leaving no room for my trash. The first thing that hits you when you walk in is the smell, which resembles wood dry rot, indicating a potential moisture issue that needs to be assessed. Additionally, the water pressure when showering was very low, and the tub was extremely slippery, posing a significant hazard that could become fatal if not addressed. This was my first time using this platform for my hospitality needs, and I must say I'm truly disappointed. The property management was responsive to my questions, but this home was not properly prepared to host a family.

Oh my! What a sad review and the first of its kind for this property! While no home is perfect, we strive for 5 stars, and are very surprised you had such a bad stay as you didn’t bring up these items to allow us to correct anything if there was a problem! It may be advisable to use hotels in the future, as you would know more what to expect regarding access to the property. We do not advertise a paved driveway. It is gravel. This home is cleaned on average 3x a week and we would have been happy to send over an additional cleaner had you brought these items to our attention! We truly wish you the best and hope and thank you for staying with us!
