The nicest and cleanest VBRO rental we have ever been to! The scenery was beautiful and the hosts were very accommodating, making you feel like family! We would recommend this place to everyone who visits the area! The front porch offers a relaxing way to end your day watching the horses in the pasture and the deer on the ridge!

This was the perfect place to stay for my family, we were attending a wedding at Enchanted Acres, only 5 minutes away! The home was lovely, very comfortable and clean! It had everything we needed. Also a peaceful and quiet place with beautiful views of the country! Would definitely stay here again!

Wedding at Enchanted Acres

The property was clean, easy to access, fully equipped, and very peaceful. The drive to the Enchanted Acres venue was straight forward and less than five minutes away. Beats staying at a hotel!Thank you Randy and Tammy for the hospitality.

Carol and her family took the utmost care of our home during their stay. Followed house rules and more hardly leaving anything for the cleaners. If you have the privilege to host Carol and her family you definitely won’t be disappointed as they are welcome back here anytime!

This property was great. A nice country setting yet convenient to what you need. Morning coffee on the porch looking at the countryside was enjoyable. We felt at home here. We met the host and enjoyed chatting with them would stay here again.

Ronald and his guests were great. They treated our home with the utmost respect, leaving our home just as they found it. We got the privilege of meeting them and only wished we could have talked longer. I would definitely host Ronald again as he is welcome anytime!

This property was fantastic. The ranch house has a great layout. There is a big family room to read or play board games (the closet has games for kids and adults). The other family room has a TV and a comfy chair and two couches to sit and watch. The porch is a great place to sit and watch the beautiful sunsets. The owners are in the house next door and offered us fresh eggs from the chickens (no roosters, only hens - so no early morning wake ups). It was a short drive to the town, with places to eat and shop. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to stay in and cook as well.

Down Home Country Living

We stayed at the Homestead for a Wedding at the Enchanted Acres which was perfect only a 5 minute Drive. The owners of this Homestead are very heartwarming and make sure your stay is wonderful. This home is very comfy and cozy and everything you would need. I highly recommend this home for any one that is adventuring to New Philadelphia , Ohio and going to the Enchanted Acres Venue they are so close to many other attractions you wouldn’t regret it. The owners are very sweet and friendly and would go above and beyond for anything you need or looking for other attractions to go see. I definitely would stay there again, we made some truly awesome friends here at the Homestead. Thank you so very much Truly your friends Lloyd and Dee

We had the great opportunity to rent The Homestead to a fabulous couple we now call our friends, Lloyd and Dee. They gave our home the utmost respect and treated it as if was their own. They even invited us over for coffee and tea and we had a great time getting to know each other. They went above and beyond taking care and respecting our home and leaving it just as they found it. Wonderful Fall Getaway

My wife Linda and I, along with my elderly parents were looking for a cozy country retreat. A place to call home where we could rest up and unwind after a day of touring the greater Carrollton and New Philadelphia area. We found the perfect place at "The Homestead" with owners Randy and Tammy. The property sits on a quiet country road, and is a quaint three bedroom one bath home. Not only is the house very well kept and meticulously maintained, it's also beautifully decorated and attention is given to every detail. Upon our arrival, we unloaded into the home and then stretched out on the relaxing front porch. We were blessed with the opportunity to meet Randy and Tammy, talking and setting a spell on that comfortable porch. If you find yourself traveling in the area, even just passing through, we highly suggest staying a night or two at the Homestead. We highly recommend it and will be returning in the future.

I have an issue with cleanliness and The Homestead could pass any white glove test. Even the bottom side of an outdoor glass table was sparkling clean. Most places have lots of remotes. What was different here is all of them were labeled! Nice assortment of snacks & coffees. Even some bottled water. The Hosts, Tammy & Randy, should teach classes to other Hosts. We had a family Wedding at Glass on Enchanted Acres and The Homestead was just a few minutes away. It worked out so perfectly for us.
