Please note, because this is an older home, the stairs to this unit are steeper than normal. There is a handrail to assist, but please be careful. We use the Airbnb App to communicate with guests. Our phone numbers are also listed if problems arise. We are a half hour away and do our best to be available if needed. We love how centrally located this place is. It is so easy to get to most things in the Salt Lake Valley from here. Nearby we have a biking trail which follows the Jordan river, several parks and libraries, a grocery store just a block away, all sorts of shopping down town which is very close and easy to get to (about 12 blocks). The airport is about 8 minutes away (cheaper Uber rides). Freeway access is also good with I-15 and I-80 intersecting just a mile away and ramps to either one just as close. The neighborhood is quiet without being inaccessible. We are not on main roads, but we are only 1 block away from main roads in two different directions. For nature lovers there are 7 beautiful canyons in the valley with plenty of opportunities for hiking, biking, camping, skiing, bird watching, picnicking, and relaxing. Salt lake City is best accessed by car, however there are quite a few bus routes nearby, as well as light rail tracks about 6 city blocks away. Look up UTA transit for schedules and routes. If you are attending an event at the Salt Palace, LDS Conference Center, or the Delta Center we recommend you take an Uber or Lyft as it will generally be only about $8-10 from this location to most attractions down town, and you will pay about that much IF you can find parking. also available are public electric scooter rentals which can often be found nearby on the sidewalks. Parking downtown is somewhat challenging but there are several garages available. Walking down town is also feasible, it is about 1.9 miles and about 40min. Please enjoy your stay with us. We strive to provide a beautiful and comfortable apartment for your stay and we welcome the opportunity to host you. If you have any problems, please don't hesitate to let us know. We would rather get a call in the middle of the night and make sure you are taken care of than for your stay to be somehow disappointing. Our grass and yard have suffered because Utah has been in a drought for the past several years. We hope to update the yard in the future so it is appealing. But in the meantime, there are some parks nearby and the church across the street that have nice grass if you need to feel grass between your toes. We typically provide enough toilet paper and paper towels for the duration of your stay. If you need more than what we supply, it is your responsibility to purchase what you need. There is a grocery store just 1 block north for your convenience. Please note, due to owner's allergies, no smoking and no pets allowed in this unit or on this property.
