Dues Paid has a spacious interior layout for your family to enjoy. Gather in the living area where you can relax on the comfy sofas with built in recliners. Lazily watch the waterfront as the seabirds fly by, catch up on a great book, enjoy a TV program or play card game together and enjoy family time without the hustle and bustle of your regular routine.
Enjoy meals together with a waterfront view at the indoor dining table that seats 6 or dine outside and watch the sunset at the picnic table located on the deck. The kitchen is well equipped with ample cookware and dining ware for your family. The kitchen has a side-by-side refrigerator with ice maker, smooth surface stove, dishwasher, automatic drip coffeemaker, microwave, blender, food processor, hand mixer, crock pot and more. If you love to grill, you’ll enjoy the BBQ area located on the shaded patio under the home. This shady location has a charcoal grill, picnic table and hanging porch swing, making it a great family gathering spot after a day of Island sun and fun.
A convenient half bathroom is located on the first floor near the kitchen and laundry areas. The large laundry room is equipped with a full-size washer and dryer. The master bedroom and bathroom are also located on the first floor of this two-story home. Equipped with a Queen bed, the master bedroom also has a spacious master bath with a walk-in shower and generous storage.
Moving upstairs to the second floor, you find a cozy workspace nestled near the top of the stairs with a convenient desk perfect for those who need to do just a bit of schoolwork or hop on a quick zoom call for the office. Dues Paid is equipped with Micro-Comm wireless internet so you can check email or stream a show on your favorite streaming service. Located perfectly for boaters, the location of Dues Paid allows for quick access to the Mississippi Sound, Mobile Bay and Gulf waters. Not a boater? No worries, you can enjoy fishing right from the dock. The waterfront area has a boardwalk built along the seawall, allowing you to fish from several different areas of the property including the seawall boardwalk, full-size west dock and finger pier east dock. A fish cleaning area is located at the dock. Please note that the boat lift and jet ski lifts visible in the pictures are not available for guest use.
What about swimming at Dues Paid? Yes, you can! There is a convenient, attached wooden swim ladder located off the seawall boardwalk. What about the Gulf Beach? Check out the aerial photos – it’s not far away! That’s the fantastic thing about Dauphin Island, you’re never very far from the beach. It’s a quick 3-minute drive or 10-minute walk to the gulf beach access at nearby Rapheal Semmes Street. Dues Paid guests are also provided parking passes for four west end gulf side street parking areas at Rapheal Semmes, St. Stephens, Sam Houston and Sehoy Streets.
