Ranch style house on Main St in Angels Camp. Come enjoy the Sierra Foothills in this adorable house. Centrally located and close to hiking, boating, skiing, fishing, and wine tasting. The house offers its own retreat with a game room, that has a ping pong/air hockey table, a large TV, karaoke machine and lots of games. The large back yard with an out door bar and BBQ is a perfect place to host girls nights, poker nights, birthday parties, holidays, graduations, baby showers, wedding showers or just a no occasion get together. The Tanko House is a perfect place for family and friends to gather. Please reach out for day rates.

The Tanko House is an absolute dream! Bring your friends or small party and relax in this spacious, clean, and inviting property. It really has everything to make you feel comfortable and welcome! We only wish we had booked a longer stay so that we could enjoy the backyard, game room, and all that the area has to offer. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

We really enjoyed the Tanko house. It was perfect for our group with plenty of space to spread out. The kids enjoyed the game room and toys. Adults appreciated the cozy sitting areas.

Our stay at The Tanko House was great! It’s one of the best place we stayed at! Our host Amy was wonderful! She left pastries and a bottle of wine for us! She communicated and responded to us promptly. The house was clean with nice interior design. It had all the amenities
well stocked kitchen, game room, snacks, pool table, air hockey, shuffle board, large outdoor area and a hot tub. Only thing missing was a swimming pool

Beautiful home with so many extras. The game room was fabulous! Best game room of all VRBOs we have stayed at. Amy, the host, thinks of everything from snacks to a bottle of local wine! She is very responsive and makes sure you have everything you need for a wonderful stay! Very clean home with a fully stocked kitchen. We definitely made some beautiful memories for Christmas! We will make it a point to return to this fabulous home!

Great Fun Well Appointed

We loved staying at the Tanko House! Lots of areas to spread out. Very well appointed and stocked. The game room was lots of fun for everyone. Great location close to town and just a quick drive to New Melones lake. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Thanksgiving Getaway

Cozy, welcoming, clean, fully stocked with just about anything you might need. Everything worked perfectly. Parking is easy. Location perfect. Treats and gifts. The photos don’t do it justice. We were very pleased and will return when we can.

This is such an elegant, super stylish home while at the same time, it's very comfortable. The location is perfect to explore the many historical towns in the area. Amazing rental in Angels Camp

This was such an AMAZING rental! Easily one of the best stocked we’ve ever been to and we been to many! The host was just so lovely-checked in often to make sure we had what we needed. We loved the modern decor, beds super comfortable, bathrooms were amazing, game room for the kids, extra touches like local pastries and treats for our dog. It really is special and we will definitely be back! Thanks Amy!

New Years 2024

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, stylish home. It had all the amenities we needed for our family and it was in a great location to get to all the activities in the surrounding area. Amy was an awesome hostess. She made us feel very welcome with all the extra touches she left to make our New Year's celebration special. We can't wait to stay here again.

Lake Trip

We came up to the lake with friends and family and loved your home. The location was perfect! We loved the little “game room” because it was a bit away from the bedrooms so we could be noisy without waking up family members who went to bed early. Thank you for all of the special touches of hospitality (coffee selection, chocolates, pastries and puppy treats! We would definitely come back!

Best rental in Angels Camp hands down!!! Our family of 4 adults, 4 kids (ages 11-15) and our furry baby absolutely loved our time at Tanko House. It had EVERYTHING we needed. The beds were super comfortable and there are loads of pillows and blankets that you can make your bed as cozy as desired. The house has 2 game rooms which was fun for the adults and teenagers to do activities independently. The game room in the main house has a bunch of board games, old school Atari machine, ping-pong/air-hockey, and best of all Karaoke. There is a separate small building across the yard called the "bar" that has bar games like pool, shuffle board and a fun dice game called Shut the Box. There is also a hot tub. The kitchen is well stocked, and Amy was kind enough to have pastries and snacks out for us when we arrived. Overall excellent stay!

Lovely, lovely home!

Our family of 6 met up for a lake weekend. When I booked the Tanko House I was happy with the description and photos and how close it is to the lake. When we got to the house we were so impressed with the beautiful details of the decor and the care of the home. We were welcomed with fresh pastries from a local bakery. We actually visited the bakery for more! Even our pup was greeted with dog treats, paw wipes and extra potty bags. The house had everything we needed. I can't think of anything that was missing. It was truly like being at home. Our last day there was interrupted by a power outage. The temperature that day was over 105 so pg&e cut power in the area for what was expected to be about 6hrs. Amy was amazing, sending us texts with updates and even offered to move us to a local hotel. Ultimately, we decided to beat the holiday traffic and head home but totally could have stayed as the power came back on about an hour later. We are hoping to get another trip in before summer is over and will definitely work our dates around the availability ofthe Tanko House!
