The Capital Casa sits in the suburbs of Frankfort Kentucky giving our guest easy access to both the city and the country. Frankfort, the Capital of Kentucky and the heart of bourbon country offers a "uniquely Kentucky" experience, you can't find anywhere else. This renovated, ranch home, has an open floor plan, two dining areas and a front "rocking" porch to enjoy the amazing Kentucky weather. Furnished with 3 bedrooms: 1 master bedroom, 1 bedroom with a queen bed and a bunk room with a couch as a second place to relax (or send the kids.) All bedrooms and the living room have smart TVs. The charm of this home continues to the outdoor living area with a screened in porch and a large yard. This home is perfect for a friend or family getaway. There are multiple places to relax and visit both inside and outside. Home is beautiful and spotless. Great location to nearby shops and within a days drive to visit Lexington, Louisville and Cincinnati (which we easily did).

Our stay at the Capital Casa was perfect! It had everything we needed. It was in a nice quiet neighborhood near everything we needed. The home was so roomy, yet cozy and comfortable. We had lots of privacy, and a great space to gather as well. The screen porch was so nice, especially this time of year (September). We will definitely rebook.

Absolutely a perfect location for doing the Bourbon/Horses/Wineries in the area. The house was very nice and had all the room we could ever need for two couples. Our host, Brent, was extremely attentive and responded immediately to all of our questions and requests.

Great Property in a Great Location

The property is very nice. There's lots of space inside and easily accommodated our group. The outside space is really nice too. There's a nice screened in porch on the back that's great for relaxing after a day on the bourbon trail. The house is at the end of a cul-de-sac so it's really quiet and the neighbor's flower gardens were a real hit with my dad. This is a no brainer for a stay the next time we're in KY!

Comfortable Getaway

Located in a quiet neighborhood not far from stores, historic downtown and distilleries. We found Frankfort fascinating and really enjoyed exploring the area. We found all sorts of great places to drink and dine. Thank you for a great stay.

Bourbon trail convenience

This house is perfect if you are looking to check out some bourbon distilleries or local wineries. The sheets were soft and comfortable, it has all the conveniences for for stay including a big back yard for your fur babies. The neighborhood is quiet and we even met the friendly neighbors. All and all, we had a great time and would use this property again for our next trip to the bourbon trail.

Guys Bourbon Trip

This place was great! The house is exactly as described on line. I’m handicapped and worked really well for my needs. Parking is right next to the house. There’s one 3 inch step onto the front porch and one 3 inch step into the house. The bathrooms are both low level and easily accessible. Bedroom s were large with smart TVS. The kitchen is really nice and well equipped. There’s a dining room with table and another table near the kitchen counter. The owners did an outstanding job communicating with us and the stay could not have been better. We will be back!!Bob

Frankfort Fall Trip

We had a great stay at this property. It was as-advertised, close to shopping and restaurants and close to downtown Frankfort. The house was clean and quiet, and we had plenty of room for 4 adults. There was a downtown Frankfort Christmas celebration which was a bonus for our trip! The house itself is a MCM ranch that has had many updates. The front porch was warm and inviting and the house was tastefully decorated with Fall decorations. The beds and bedding were very comfortable and looked new. We appreciated having a TV with "cable" and "smart" options. And the owner's communication was spot on. We had no issues, but he checked in to make sure everything was OK. We will absolutely look to stay here again. Thank, you!

Comfortable and Convenient

My husband and I, along with two siblings, enjoyed our stay at this property very much. Everything was as described and it certainly was very central to where we wanted to go. All of the beds were extremely comfortable and it was nice having everything on one floor. The front door lock was a little tricky, but our sister had the magic touch so she was the gatekeeper. We sat outside on the back porch one afternoon and it was very nice and quiet. Our brother described the step in bathtub as "like showering in a volkswagon" but it served the purpose. Although the hosts sent a detailed email regarding our upcoming stay, it would have been nice to have a binder available with information available to all. We had a little trouble with the coffeemaker and could never find a CORKSCREW which disappointed a couple of us. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans, etc. and the selection of implements was great, but no corkscrew. We also found it curious that there were no wineglasses but there were plenty of bourbon glasses which were happily utilized. In summary, we enjoyed our visit very much. The house was certainly everything we could have asked for, except for, you know . . . We would certainly recommend this property to anyone wanting a comfortable and convenient location.
