Excellent cottage and location

Seven of us spent a wonderful week at Chalet Trappeur 4. The cottage and the outdoor spaces were perfect for our group. The kitchen is a standout with a large island and plenty of room for us to cook together. I have rented many places over the years and this one had the most comfortable beds of any of them. There is a lot to do in the area as well, so the location can't be beat. Highly recommended.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

Another great weekend at Le Trappeur!

It is our 3rd consecutive stay at Le Trappeur, and it is always a super place to spend a quiet and relaxing time between our Dek hockey games. We love this place because it is only 12 minutes from our tournament site, it is clean and spacious enough to allow our team of 11 to have enough beds and bathroom for all of us. The communication wit Tremblant Leaving is very easy and they are always there to answer us when we need something. They were also king enough to allow us a late check on the Sunday and this is very appreciated! Thanks to Tremblant Leaving for their very good customer experience, we really feel at Home every year when we come back to Le Trappeur!

Beautiful Home!

My family of six stayed here for our Christmas vacation. The home is beautiful -- exactly as pictured. We enjoyed the fire places and the kitchen was well-appointed for our large family meals. We had groceries delivered from the local IGA and picked up some wine from SAQ on our way up. The home is very close to Pedestrian Village and Mont Tremblant activities.

Beautiful place!

This cottage is absolutely beautiful! The check in process was easy and efficient! The home is well prepared with attention to details! We didn’t miss anything (except for champagne flutes) and we truly felt like home away from home. The place is elegantly decorated and the outside cheminee is a hit with the whole family. The distance to tremblant village is a beautiful ride of 15 min. I strongly recommend this place for families and friends wanting to spend some time close to the Tremblant resort, while away from the noise. Thank you for sharing your home! Kathy

3 nights at Chaleur Trappeur

Our family ( all 11 of us) had a wonderful experience staying in this beautiful home. It had all the amenities we needed and the fireplace and Hot Tub were a huge hit. It is in a private wooded area but only 10 minutes from the Resort and our VIP parking passes allowed us to come and go with ease. The mud room at the basement entrance was very convenience with 5 children going in and out.. The only concern was the stairs to the lower level . They are lovely wooden steps but are slippery when going up or down in woollen socks.

Overall the house was very lovely. Looks like the pictures. The only issue we ran into is that the lower level was extremely cold. It was very hard to control and when we asked the management company they did not seem to know the solution either. So downstairs was an igloo for the entirety of our trip. Since we were only there at night it was not terrible but it would've been nice to be able to control the temperature in order to hang out downstairs.

Great Ironman weekend

We traveled to Mont Tremblant from Virginia for the Ironman triathlon. This was our first time in the area. There were seven of us ranging from age 4 to 80. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep and hang out. The house was beautiful and very clean. They had all the supplies needed including cleaning and incidental supplies like coffee, salt, pepper, etc.. Unfortunately we were not able to use the parking passes to the village due to the race and my 80 year old mother had to stay home on race day. The rest of us were able to park close enough to walk into town. My 4 year old niece had fun at the little playground right around the corner. The management service was wonderful and very very responsive. I had several questions prior to the trip and they always got back with me. We had a few hiccups while there and again they tried to be very accommodating. We even had a visit from an extremely kind and friendly maintenance man. I have a few cons and maintenance issues to give an honest review. The master bedroom is huge but the 3 other bedrooms are quite small and don't have dressers or anything. The bunk bed room really is only best for children. The front door stuck and was hard to open and one of the downstairs bathroom shower heads need to be replaced. All in all we had a wonderful trip and would certainly recommend Tremblant Living.

2e séjour au Chalet Le Trsppeur

C'est la deuxième année consécutive où nous avons le plaisir de séjourner au chalet le Trappeur. Nous sommes 10 filles qui participons à un tournoi annuel de Dek hockey à Tremblant et ce chalet nous offre toutes les commodités et le confort afin de nous permettre de profiter pleinement de notre séjour. Tremblant Living est toujours disponible avant et durant notre séjour afin de répondre, et ce rapidement à toutes nos questions. Nous y retournerons assurément en juin 2025 pour un 3e séjour! Très beau chalet, spacieux mais…

Compte tenu du prix très élevé de cette location, celle-ci doit être irréprochable. Ce n'est malheureusement pas le cas. Pour obtenir 5 étoiles, il faudrait que: 1) les vieilles poêles rouillées dans la cuisine soient remplacées 2) un service à fondue (fromage) soit disponible. A la montagne en hiver on mange plutôt une fondue au fromage qu'une fondue chinoise 3) une passoire à petits trous soit disponible 4) un étui de capsules Nespresso attende les hôtes. La machine seule n'a pas grande utilité De plus l'arrivée au chalet en hiver est très dangereuse. L'entrée se faisant par un sas au sous sol (mud room), le chemin depuis le parking ainsi que les escaliers étaient complètement verglacés. Il est inadmissible que Tremblant Living n'ait pas dégagé l'accès ou au moins déposé de la terre ou des gravillons ou du sel. Quelques informations dans le chalet sur l'endroit où il fallait aller pour prendre le sentier de ski de fond et de raquettes auraient été utiles. Last but not least, la caution demandée pour un séjour de 2 nuits est juste exorbitante: 3000$!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The experience was great except that we had a major issue with the water- the smell of it was completely revolting. We could not wash our food or dishes in it and it smelled horrible to shower. The odour stayed for the entire trip every time we turned on the sink. I emailed regarding this problem and received no reply!

The place was perfect for an annual guys trip - enough beds, more than enough space, close enough to the hill, great chalet to spend a day if it was too cold. The bunk beds were fine although I would say that if you're taller than 6ft. you won't likely fit easily in the bed. I'd happily go back and would recommend the place to anyone looking to spend a weekend in Tremblant. A big thank you to everyone at TL!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This secluded contemporary, yet warm and inviting, home was a perfect vacation rental in ski country. This was our 7th time to Tremblant and have been fortunate to stay in lovely properties. We loved the outdoor lighting on the trees and the house, which really helps illuminate the property upon night time arrival. The home's open floor concept encourages family gathering and conversation, all while enjoying a toasty fire and cooking meals. The home was immaculate upon arrival. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook fine meals and was stocked with the essentials to get our week started (dish detergent, hand soaps, olive oil, balsamic, some spices, sugar, flour, laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, and plenty of fire wood!) The downstairs family room was a great place for the young adults to gather and relax. The furnishings throughout the home were chosen with great detail to style, color, and functionality. Our only concern were the bunk beds, as our 4 young adult 20 year old boys are over 6 feet tall which posed a slight issue with the length of the bunks beds. We loved the privacy of the home and the location between both the old village and the pedestrian village and took daily hikes into both villages for exercise. The ride into the ski/pedestrian village took a tad longer due to the snow/icy road conditions, but that was expected. You get to see several deer along the way which was delightful. The VIP parking pass is a huge plus we were most appreciative of that benefit. The lower level entrance (key pad entrance) has a very spacious foyer for everyone's winter gear. There is also a ski locker which we didn't use because we kept our ski's and boards in our vehicles. Everyone in the house thoroughly enjoyed the inside and outside of this property. We would definitely stay in Chalet Trappeur again!

The location was great and the property suited our family...however we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the interior, which needed a good cleaning. Beds and Bathroom were clean and the kitchen well equipped and plenty of room for dining. The upper deck only had a b.b'q no lounges or chairs for sitting. The deck itself needed repairs to the flooring which made it unsafe to walk on. The glass siding on the deck needed cleaning. The lower deck was pleasant but again the chairs and cushions were in need of washing. After our arrival we had to call for maintenance on the hot tub, which was scummy and dirty. The serviceman was told that we were arriving on the 18th , so someone got the incorrect information. The tub was emptied and filled with fresh water, but no crystals to ensure the water was clean and sanitized. When you pay premium rates you expect a Premium Rental. I would not recommend the rental and we are still waiting for a response to our concerns from the Manager of the rental. We love Tremblant and our family visit winter and summer, but not to this location, which was very disappointing.

As you are aware, we strive to offer our clients the best service and experience while at our properties, and take our guests’ feedback very seriously. We did come to an agreement with you internally and you have mentioned that this was satisfactory for you. Since you have brought this in a review, we need to address each concern: Concerning the cleanliness of the interior: We wish to respectfully address that the property was carefully inspected by 2 of our team members before your stay and the cleaning was done property and as per our high standards. No chairs in the BBQ area: The reason for this is because we have a very nice screened in porch dining room and our guests prefer to get their meals in this area as opposed to outside next to the BBQ because of the mosquitos. It is also chillier in the evenings in Tremblant and people prefer to stay on the porch. Balcony/deck needs some maintenance: We have inspected this point very carefully and it is completely safe. We do not understand why you felt that it wasn’t safe. Outside cushions: This is outside furniture. A deep cleaning is done at the end of each season which is an industry standard. For outside furniture, you would understand that it is not possible to offer a deeper cleaning for every guest. Spa: There was indeed a misunderstanding on your arrival date concerning the spa and this was handled properly as soon as we were informed of the situation. It’s important to mention that the water is always sanitized with the standard products in the industry and we are really careful about this point. It is important to mention that this house is one of our most popular properties as it offers many great amenities that are more difficult to find within the same rental home (close ski-in/out, private spa, gym, sauna, and elevator, outdoor fireplace, and amazing views).
