Der Whirlpool auf der obersten Deck aus dem Master-Suite für die Late-Night-Genuss. Es gibt einen Port-a-Kinderbett und Laufstall für die Kleinen sowie ein Spielzimmer für die ganze Familie. Zu weiteren Annehmlichkeiten z��hlen Highspeed-Internetzugang, Kabel-TV, DVD-Player, Stereoanlage, PS3 Videospielkonsole, Air Hockey, Waschmaschine und Trockner, Glasveranda, Fischreinigungstisch, Außendusche und Holzkohlegrill. Das Ferienhaus liegt auf einem Doppel Eckgrundstück so dass es nicht von anderen Häusern umgeben. In der Nähe des 4-Rad-Antrieb-Bereich. Ansicht des Currituck Lighthouse. 350 Meter zum Strand. Haustiere sind willkommen.

Weekend friend getaway

This house was perfect for our large group. It is a super short walk to the beach. It also has parking across the street if you want to get closer. The house has 2 showers to wash off the sand when you get back. The house was well stocked. The only thing i would improve on is having some furniture on the decks.

The location of this property was very convenient. It was a short walk to the beach and an even shorter walk to the nature reserve where we saw wild horses. This house needs some updates and some deep cleaning. Are biggest issue was with ants in the kitchen. We are very clean people but we could not leave anything on the counter, and even then, we were battling ants all week. There was also a moldy shower curtain. There are two beautiful decks but just a few very cheap plastic chairs several of which were broken. The sheets, towels and blankets were clean and overall we had a nice stay.

Perfect vacation!!

The house was very clean and looked new!! Beds were abundant comfortable and made. Kitchen was very well apportioned; there were ample pots and pans, silverware plates and bowls. There was a problem with one of the toilets; they had the plumber out right away and took care of the problem!! We’ve been to the outer banks many times. We just loved this house. Amazing office space that was so useful as one of us needed to work from home. Also the two outsider showers were very helpful!! Would recommend this home!!

The kitchen is well-stocked. The playground and the community pools are great for the kids. Although the beach is 350 yards away, having access to two parking lots makes it easy to get there. The Currituck Lighthouse is close, and climbing to the top is great fun. The rental agency responded quickly when I had questions. My family and I are looking forward to returning next year!

VERY disappointed

Just got back today and still shaking our heads. The rental was FILTHY. Three of the comforters were soiled, along with one set of bed sheets. Floors looked like they had NOT been mopped. Called housekeeping but they were closed for the day. Listing states 4 parking spots but you only get ONE pass that gets you parking to the pool and beach. Beach access was horrific and, in our opinion, dangerous. Rental very dated. 2 plastic chairs is the only deck furniture. Bedrooms are below the main floor so you can hear every footstep above you. Pool closes at 6. Will NOT stay here again. Extremely disappointed. We feel that the listing was inaccurate and deceptive.

Reviewer Comments: The house was in a great location and the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, silverware, etc. We loved being walking distance to the beach and the pool. However the house was lacking some basic essentials that would have been nice to have, like hand soap in the bathrooms, trash bags for the kitchen trash, extra toilet paper, and dishwasher liquid. The sheets were also not clean and smelled like they had been put in a plastic bag still wet. Overall great stay, but definitely could use more effort into making the house a little more comfortable.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival it was clear house was not well tended. We brought my small dog and immediately knew others had also, there was a multitude of dog hair on steps and carpets, some balled up in refrigerator(yuck), stains throughout. Dishes in dishwasher, no toliet paper racks in any bathrooms they were all broken. Broken light bulbs, outsie was a horrible mess an outsie showers were unusable. Only one bed was made. Some parts of decking was broken and presented a danger to my grandkids. Worst ws the vents were emitting a black substance(mold?) There were many more totally unacceptable issues with rental and I made a list and dropped it off at office. We tried to make the best of it but since just losing my husband nd this was to be our first family vacation since I can't express my total disappointment and would NEVER do business with this property again.

Easy to see not a lot of love has gone into the home. Lots of cedar shingles missing, dirty walls around air vents, kitchen cabinets need a coat of paint. Dryer didn’t work and it took 4 days to get it remedied. No lighting in garage and outside showers. Upstairs tub drained clogged. POSITIVES:AC worked great. Close proximity to activities and beach.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we had a great time, our only issues was the Wifi, and cell phone service and few other things. We had the worst wifi issues and were not able to watch TV or connect to our cell phones. The bathroom curtains should be washed as they smelled like urine in the bathroom from the top level where the living room is. The kitchen is not fully stocked and were missing so many kitchen essentials. They could use a pest company to tackle the roaches that come from outside. My kids enjoyed it the house the most. It was big enough for all of us and our dog. I was told they had a 70' TV which is not true and most of the TV's in the house are super small.

Filters should be changed. House had not been vacuumed, we went in at 4 and had started disenfectant it (Covid) and bringing all our grocery’s in. At 415 I got a text saying house not ready but did not see it. Mattresses were horrible. New LR dining furniture was nice, spacious house. Cookware needs replacement.Deck needs painting rough surface, deck furniture table rusted. Wasp nest on second floor entrance so could not use that deck. Enjoyed pool and beach.

Reviewer Comments: Home was not ready until 6:30p Saturday even though we opted out of linen service, When we entered the property they had put linens and towels through the linen service on every bed which we did not use and then the next day someone entered our rental home who said she was the inspector, without our knowledge, and that was very scary. The property is very far from the beach and has no views of the ocean nor the sound. It was clean but the layout of the home was not optimal for us and we actually only stayed in the home three of the seven days.

We got cable the night before our vacation ended. Reservations were made two months in advance and the excuse I got was that we were the first renters of the season. We were very disappointed.

Reviewer Comments: We stayed there in 2016 and rented agin based on spacious comfortable cottage, 2017 it was dirty, furniture soiled and ripped from wear, patio furniture rusted, unusable, ants, had to throw food away, trash can full and missing wheels. Just seemed owner had no interest. Mgmt co. Sent exterminator 3 times, last time treated whole cottage and replaced patio furniture.whole house needs deep clean, new furniture and mattresses badly needed.

We did catch a raccoon in the trash cans twice and heard him in the walls of the home (by the fireplace). We believe he gets in through the outside vent above the hot tub. The gnats were pretty bad in the twin bed room, and I did notice mold in several places throughout the home. The outside decking could use a power washing. We did enjoy our stay and would recommend this property.

Good, quiet location for medium sized family with dogs, but with some minor grumbles

We were down for a week with the family consisting of Grandma & Grandpa, their 2 kids and 3 grandkids + a friend (ages were 3, 6, and a pair of 12 year-olds), plus the family dogs. Overall, we had a very positive experience at the house but there were enough exceptions to knock a couple of stars off of the review. For the most part, though, the negatives are minor grumbles and not significant problems, but there were enough that warranted mention. First, the positive aspects: - The layout works very well for 3 separate family groups as there are 3 full bathrooms in the house all connected to a bedroom, and most of the bedrooms/bathroom are on a single level separate from the main living space. It should be noted that only 1 of the baths is dedicated to a bedroom. The other 2 have doors to the hallway and to a bedroom, but one of the bedrooms has a en-suite powder room. - The rooms are all good sized and the main floor is very open to allow all 10 people to move around without tripping over each other. Everyone was able to co-mingle but yet there was plenty of space for separate activities for the various people. - The location is excellent if you like peace and quiet and don't mind driving 5-10 minutes to find the stores. - The beach is very walkable (we did it often in the mornings and evenings), but if you have young kids or a lot of stuff, I recommend driving and parking in the community lots closer to the beach. The negatives: - There is little shade on the main deck, so if you have a very hot week (like we did), sitting outside is almost unbearable. - Cleanliness was a minor issue. Generally speaking the house was clean, but there were a few very dusty objects, and there was sand in one of the tubs when we arrived. There was also a lot of pet hair on the floors, especially the steps (the youngest guest still climbs steps on hands and knees and would often have fur covered hands after climbing the stairs). - The "resort" amenities, like the pool, tennis courts, and fitness center were walkable, but a long walk. - The walls are very thin. You can hear everyone going up and down the steps from one of the bedrooms and all of the people (and pets) walking on the 3rd floor (main living space) from any of the 2nd floor bedrooms. - The 2nd floor deck (with access to most bedrooms) is accessible via the ground level (so lock the doors) All in all, we would stay there again, but we would consider searching for other properties first.

Great Week at the Beach

Singing the Praises of Dolphin's Song

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my family's second stay at Dolphin's Song, and, once again, we had a great time. The open floor design of the top floor is very attractive. The kitchen is well stocked, and the master bedrooms each have access to a deck. We enjoyed going to the community pool, and the parking passes made going to the beach safe and easy. Just a short ride down the road, we rented a pontoon boat and spent a delightful 2 hours on the sound. We enjoyed walking to the sound through the nature preserve nearby. Next year we plan on returning.

Reviewer Comments: house was very spacious and the beds were comfortable. kitchen well equipped. happy I could bring our pet, close to beach. game room was lacking, parts so couldn't play bumper pool or air hockey, couldn't find remote for tv, but could turn it on by switch on tv. musty smelling though so I wouldn't let the grankids spend time down there.
