Lovely 2BR/1BA Gem - Only 10 Minutes to Downtown Charleston!

Our cute, welcoming home in North Charleston is only 10 minutes driving to Downtown Charleston, and 6 to 8 minutes to popular spots like Park Circle and the North Charleston Coliseum. Enjoy a sparkling clean home with excellent king and queen beds. The kitchen is fully stocked and we offer great WiFi and a free washer/dryer. There is a fenced yard and lots of parking. The area is urban and working class, it is not fancy. Please read our location description before booking!

Important items to note:
**Our home is in North Charleston in the neighborhood of Dorchester Terrace, which is urban, diverse and working class. While the neighborhood is changing, and there are other AirBnBs in the area because it is located so close to Downtown Charleston and Park Circle, it is not fancy, nor is it considered a "good" or "tourist" area. Many homes are being renovated, but there are still homes that are run down and/or not well kept. This is why our price is so much lower than what a similar house in a better area would cost. Please don't book if you are expecting a high-end area and are going to complain about the neighborhood!

**There is a TV into which you can plug your own device via the HDMI port, for example a Firestick or Roku. It is not a Smart TV and it does not have regular TV, cable, streaming devices, etc.

**Our cute, comfortable home has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and 900 square feet. One bedroom has a king bed and the other a queen. The room with the king has a work desk and lamp. There is a TV into which you can plug your own device via the HDMI port, for example a Firestick or Roku. The kitchen has a small table that seats four, and there are plenty of dishes, glasses, pots, pans, etc. The bathroom is sparkling clean and has a standup shower. The yard is fully fenced in. The driveway can fit up to 3 cars. There is no room for RVs, trailers, buses, etc. There is an interior security system and prior to check-in you receive the code so you can use it if you would like.

Read our neighborhood description! The neighborhood is diverse, urban and working class, not fancy. Please do not book and expect a high-end area.
There is a strict 3-car maximum. Park only on the driveway, not the grass. There is no room for additional cars. No trailers, RVs, etc.
No parties or loud music/noises. The maximum number of people who can be in the home is 4.

Great little place!

We stayed for a couple of days before we boarded a cruise ship. House was very clean and well kept. The decor was really homey. The neighborhood was a little bit ran down, but we had no issues.

Great House and Even Better Hosts

The house is not far from town in a quiet neighborhood with friendly people. Nice backyard and plenty enough room for a family. The hosts are always available for questions and really made our first rental experience pleasant and problem free. Would definitely stay here again.

Cute two bedroom single bath home. Check in process was very simple & easy. As two young women, the security system at this location made us feel extremely safe. House was very clean & rooms are very spacious. It had most of the necessities you would need for your stay.

North Charleston modest home.

It was small house in a neighborhood of small houses, some have been well kept and some have not. Remodel of this was very good, nice kitchen and bathroom. Needs some finishing touches. Owner was quick to respond but didn’t address two minor concerns. It was a safe and except for Friday night, a quiet neighborhood. It was 20 to 30 minutes from downtown Charleston depending on traffic. It did not have a dishwasher as advertised. It’s an older home with few electrical outlets and needs repair of porch rail. We really enjoyed our stay in historic Charleston.

Met most of our needs. . .

We booked this house for a friends trip (69 & 71 yo F).Most of the instructions for the home were great but the ones posted on the wall behind the front door were not seen until too late to place the trash out for pick up. There were no instructions on how to lock the door (not intuitive but once we figured it out, it was easy) Bring your own kitchen towels- none provided. Home was clean and comfortable. TV was difficult to use and for 2 or the 3 nights there was no signal.
