Granada Del Mar Eigentumswohnung ist eine 36 Einheit StrandgrundstĂŒck westlich von Christiansted. 2 Schlafzimmer, ein Schlafzimmer hat ein Kingsize-Bett mit 2 Nachttischen, das andere Schlafzimmer hat zwei volle Betten mit einem Nachttisch. Jedes Schlafzimmer verfĂŒgt ĂŒber einen kompletten Kleiderschrank, eine Kommode und ein komplettes Badezimmer mit Ziegelduschen. Unsere Wohnung wurde vor kurzem renoviert, im Jahr 2013, mit allen neuen KĂŒchen- und BadschrĂ€nken. Neue GerĂ€te gehören KĂŒhlschrank, Herd, GeschirrspĂŒler, Mikrowelle und Waschmaschine und Trockner. Wir haben Gasgrill. Klimaanlage ist vorhanden, wird aber bei den tollen Passatwinden selten benötigt. Das Anwesen verfĂŒgt ĂŒber einen großen Pool und ein kleines Clubhaus mit Tischtennis. Ein Putting Green ist ebenfalls verfĂŒgbar. Die Nachbarschaft ist ruhig und entspannend. Badestrand, Restaurant und Bar sind nur 2-3 Gehminuten entfernt. Alle StrĂ€nde in St. Croix sind öffentlich.

Best place to stay - Amazing view, super clean and comfortable!

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was immaculate, the beds and other furnishings were comfortable and we appreciated having everything we needed to prepare meals. Being right on the beach was the best part with the spectacular view and the sounds of the crashing waves. The drive into town and to the airport was quick and easy. We plan to return to stay here again!!

Great beach for sea glass

My wife and her two friends love to look for sea glass and were very happy with what they found on the beach. For me it was having the beach at my backdoor. Listening to the waves break on the beach and the incredible view was the best.

Nice condo & great location

The condo was exactly as presented in the listing. The kitchen very well equipped. We absolutely loved being on the ground floor with the enclosed outdoor space and the outdoor patio area where you can walk right out to the sand. We found the neighbors to be very nice and friendly as well. It's an easy drive into Christiansted for restaurants.

Feb 2020 two week stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We took morning walks through the neighborhood and explored a different part of the island each day. The condo was as listed, clean, and provided easy access to Christiansted, as well as other parts of the island. The property managers were readily available if we had questions, and Robin did a great job meeting us at the airport, guiding us to the condo, and giving us an overview of the property, area, and island.

Beautiful view

The condo is right on the beach, with a fabulous view of the ocean from the living room. We liked that it was within walking distance to a good restaurant (The Palms). Enjoyed relaxing on the patio, watching the crashing waves. Very close to Christiansted where you'll find dining and shopping. About 20-30 minutes to the west side of the island, where you can find some of the best beaches on the island, and watch for a green flash at sunset (they occur when the horizon is unobstructed by clouds). Robin, the property manager was very responsive and friendly.

Great accomodation.

Nice waves on beachfront. Not a swimmable beach, but great for relaxing and enjoying the view. Palm tree does provide some shade as well which is nice. Our stay was in early June 2019 and pool was out of service for repair which was unfortunate. Condo is quite roomy with comfy bed and very nice amenities like dish soap, trash bags, Kleenex, etc. Very nice swimmable beach just a short drive away at Pelican Cove where you can get drinks or lunch while enjoying the beautiful aqua ocean. We would return to this condo.

A comfortable place on a laidback island

The condo and this unit are convenient and comfortable. Though the beach is not conducive to swimming it is great to walk and there is a good area to swim about a quarter mile up the beach. There is a pool there but two of the three times we have stayed there it has been under repair so be sure to ask specifically about it since the property manager is not forthcoming with information affecting your stay and good with excuses and what you want to hear. I will stay here again, just a lot wiser!

THIS IS TOO GOOD

We stayed for nearly 6 weeks. It’s ground floor on the ocean. The waves are about 50’ away, but it’s not a swimming beach. There was always seaweed and rocks out there. We loved to sit on the patio and watch the ocean. We did have many windy days, but just go to the other side of the island for calmer seas.This unit had a small, nice well equipped kitchen with a washer & dryer. The dining, living room area was spacious with a great TV. The bedrooms & bathrooms worked well for our group. The WiFi worked great (except for the back bedroom). The AC worked great!The neighbors were friendly and several had dogs which wasn’t a problem. The building has a generator which can be a big plus cause St Croix has power outages. We liked the location, but had to drive wherever we wanted go. Renting a vehicle from Centerline is a must.We felt safe back in the corner where Granda Del Mar is located. Very little traffic in this area.

Amazing oceanfront stay

I’ve read the previous reviews and I have to say some of them are unfair. You can clearly see that the condo’s decor and furnishings are outdated. But the place is clean, well stocked and ON THE OCEAN. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the neighbors. I learned a lot about being respectful of the turtle egg laying areas. My BIL caught a massive piranha with the gear supplied by the condo: it was the highlight of his trip. It is hard to find with GPS which the owners help with. And everything you want to see on the island is about 20 minutes away. We loved our stay and hope to visit again.

Fantastic property

This condo was awesome. It was well stocked with everything you need: Spices, oil, coffee filters, plates bowls, cookware (one with teflon), beach towels, cooler, folding chairs, comfortable furniture, king-sized bed, pool on the ocean, etc. It is on the ground floor so we could walk straight out to the ocean. Loved sitting on the patio listening to the waves crashing. This is more of a listening beach and not a swimming beach since there are lots of rocks and the water is rough. Less than a 10 minute drive to swimming beaches and the boardwalk with lots restaurants and bars in Christiansted. Recommend getting a car to go to some of the best beaches and Fredericksted (snorkeling at the pier there was awesome).

The views are stunning

The communication with the property manager before arrival was lacking, I had several questions as I had never been before to St. Croix and it took quite awhile for responses and a few questions never got answered. We had no hot water on our 1st night, I had to call back in order to see about resolution, a few quirky housekeeping things that I shouldn't have had to take care of but we did, power surges daily are interesting, definitely on the outskirts of town, you will need taxis/car rental for moving about, but to listen to waves crashing all day while in the living room, perfect..quiet & peaceful for sure...

Well appointed and comfortable

The condo was well stocked with everything you would need for a week long girls trip. Plenty of kitchen supplies and both beach and bath towels. Right on a rocky beach with a great view but not for swimming especially since it was incredibly windy the whole week. Was a great central location making it easy to get to other parts of the island. My friends and I truly enjoyed our stay. The only small issue we had was getting down the steps to the beach. There was a pretty flimsy wood ramp at the bottom and the hand rail didn’t go far enough down to be able to grab it on your way back up. Would recommend some enhancement to that especially if being used by older renters. Other than that we truly loved the unit.

No AC and unsafe neighborhood

The AC was not working. We looked at the guests book and this was an ongoing problem, along with many others. It is on the water, but very difficult to enter there. It is surrounded by an unsafe neighborhood, as we were told by a neighbor. We were urged to not leave at night. There was construction scaffolding between us and the water next door. We left and found wonderful lodging at the Tamarind Reef. Highly recommend it! Great for food, entertainment, and snorkeling.

We acquired this property from my parents in 2000. We have visited St Croix many times prior to purchasing it. Simply, we love the beauty of the island and the fact that it is less touristy than other isla nds. If we choose to, the other US Virgin Islands are only a Ferry or Sea Plane ride away. The spirit of St Croix, happy pleasant people, uncrowded beaches and sunshine have kept us attracted.
