Crowsnest II befindet sich am sĂŒdlichen Ende der PlatinkĂŒste von Barbados (sĂŒdlich von St. James), 30 Fuß vom Meer entfernt und bietet einen einzigartigen 180-Grad-Blick auf den lĂ€ngsten Strand.

Das 2006 erbaute, 465 mÂČ große Strandhaus erstreckt sich ĂŒber die obersten zwei Stockwerke des dreistöckigen GebĂ€udes. Es ist komplett aus Hartholz und Natursteinen gefertigt und verfĂŒgt ĂŒber 5 klimatisierte Schlafzimmer und vier Badezimmer im 1. Stock. Der Wohnbereich darĂŒber fĂ€ngt die Brise ein. Der offene 'Penthouse'-Wohnbereich verfĂŒgt ĂŒber zwei' Lounges ', einen Esstisch mit 14 SitzplĂ€tzen, einen Grillbereich, eine Bar, eine Bibliothek, eine weitere Toilette und eine Dusche sowie einen 30-Fuß-Pool auf dem Dach und eine Wet-Bar, die alle um eine zentrale Öffnung angeordnet sind Plan KĂŒche.

Loved our time at Crows Nest!

What a fabulous fabulous place to call home for a week. This house was absolutely perfect. The entire top floor is an open-air living space with a great breeze, open air kitchen, bar, abundant lounge seating and a pool. We traveled with two families ages ranging from 4 to 80 and we all really loved the house and stay. The owner clearly put a lot of thought into the build of this home and it's very user friendly, can't recommend enough to other guests and hope we have the opportuniity to return!

Beautiful Beachfront Villa

Fabulous week long stay at Crows Nest - Bedrooms all air condtioned and the upper deck is fabulous and really where you'll spend all your time with kitchen, pool, bar and loads of seating areas for lounging or dining. Ralph the house manager is superb and always helpful. Cannot fault in any way. Recommended

My favorite vacation stay eva!

The house is built for family, or friends traveling together. It has an incredible set up for large groups, whether sleeping or entertaining. We had four generations from 19 months up to 78 years and our only disappointment was having to leave. The team on the ground was welcoming, helpful, and good with communication. Best place we've ever stayed! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Great house for a large group

I travelled with my extended family of 10. The house was perfect for our large group especially the open air top floor. My grandson was in the pool as soon as he got up in the morning. We Loved having the beach right outside and the sunsets were gorgeous.

The house was in a perfect beach spot!

Beautiful House

Beautiful house, beautiful island, beautiful ocean, beautiful people. Our multi-generational family of 10 enjoyed our stay. The owner, Andy, responded in a timely fashion to all of my questions, the property manager introduced us to everything in the house, and the maids were wonderful. Amazing!

We were 2 families (4 adults, 5 kids ages 6-12) celebrating a milestone birthday, and the house could not have been more perfect for us! The 3rd floor is even more beautiful as the pictures make it look. The kids loved coming home from dinner and being able to swim in the pool before bed. The ocean is so calm in this area and the beach was fairly private. Kids walked down to Rascals a couple of times to play on the ocean inflatables. Chef Judy cooked us a fantastic meal one night, and the restaurants in Barbados are wonderful. We were all very sad to have to leave. Thanks for opening up your beautiful home!

Excellent stay

We, group of 7, spent a week at Crow’s nest. It was a great stay. The house is great and in a perfect location. Close enough to bars, restaurants and grocery stores but yet very secluded with your own private beach area. We spent most of our time on the third floor with its beautiful view and also enjoyed the pool throughout the day. Chef Judy was an excellent recommendation. She is a talented and excellent chef. The communication from the house manager and staff was great and always available to answer any questions. Overall this was an excellent “home” and we plan on going back again. We did not encounter any major issues with mosquitoes/ bugs, but we did use bug spray as recommended. Lastly, it was great to arrive and see the fridge stocked with essential supplies for our first breakfast, plus enough soft drinks, water and beer to give us time to settle in before having to go to the store. Very thoughtful and much appreciated!!

Breathtaking views

Crowsnest is a rare gem, the top floor views and ocean breeze are magnificent. This home is extremely well appointed with ample comfortable seating for lounging and dining for all eleven of us. We are cooks and the kitchen had every gadget, bowl, pan and spice necessary to create a masterpiece and it was equipped with multiple sturdy cutting boards and sharp knives so everyone could assist with the prep work. Brighton beach is magnificent and we loved watching the cruise ships in the distance and staring at the turquoise water through the bright green palm trees frame. The codes were so entertaining, and while relaxing we named day one "passwords" as we all worked hard to memorize the different codes on each level and then laughed hysterically at "what's the code?" as many of us easily forgot after a few to many sips of rum punch. We spent the week cherishing the top floor views and accomodations and thinking of ways to return. You will not be disappointed with the Crowsnest, or Barbados...both are spectacular.

Awesome Vacation Villa!!!

Crowsnest was amazing!!!! Just perfect for our family reunion. The lower floor with the bedrooms were very comfortable, warm and inviting..... but the top floor open living area was breathtaking!!!!! The open floor plan with all of the different lounge areas, the huge dining table, the kitchen, the bar, the pool and the barbeque area.....BRILLIANT DESIGN !!!!!! Exactly as described on the web and more.....and the beach...wonderful, very calm and not crowded. Though 18 of us stayed there, we never felt overcrowded. The other 9 family members who stayed at Sea Turtle loved that house also.....very cozy, but Crowsnest was the hub. This is where we spent most of our time, just being together and enjoying each other, the beach, the pool and the top floor incredible views. Your staff was wonderful, but Eulita was amazing....keeping things in order with so many of us there. My entire family loved it, both young and old, especially my grandkids...we created some wonderful memories with the family there and will definitely come again...most definitely. I am missing the sounds of the ocean already. I just can't say enough about your villa. STUNNING!!!!!.....AWESOME!!!!!.....FANTASTIC!!!!... THANKS FOR AMAZING VACATION....... Perfect Location

My family and I just had a wonderful week at Crowsnest and cannot wait to return in the future. The house could not be located in a better place. It sits directly on one of the best beaches in Barbados, in my opinion, and you practically have the whole beach to yourself daily. We walked the length of the beach a few mornings and made it as far as we could ending at La Cabane, a beach bar, directly on the sand about 1.5 miles from the house. We had fun watching the ships come in and out of the cruise terminal each day and the hummingbirds devour the feeders. The third floor is such a magical space. I really did not want to leave the house for one minute of our vacation, it was just that nice. The housekeepers and house manager were wonderful and very responsive. You can tell they love the place as well. A couple of things that i think should be mentioned in the listing are, there is a first floor apartment so you may not have the property to yourself. It’s completely separate but I didn’t realize that when we arrived. It was not an issue as the guests there were very nice. There are cameras on the property and in the living space on the third floor. Once I saw them I asked the house manager about them and he said they’re not monitored but recording for security in case something happens. Other than that the house is perfect and we cannot wait to go back!

Where to begin...

My family is just back from the most wonderful vacation that we have ever had! We are a group of 13, with 8 adults and 5 small children. We stayed in the full house, Crows Nest and Hummingbird. The house is fantastic, so spacious and located right on THE most beautiful beach! We were overwhelmed with the property as soon as we arrived. All of the bedrooms were lovely spaces, and having so many ensuites was perfect for the adults. We had rented child related items and everything was set up and ready to go when we got there. The third floor was like heaven. There was so much room to spread out, plenty of furniture for a large group and what a view! We got into a habit of all going to the beach in the morning, and then going in for lunch and kids naps. Then we would spend the afternoon on the top floor, relaxing with cocktails and taking advantage of the pool. We were "livin' the life"! There was always a nice sunset, and we often went out to the beach to watch it. The beach was simply gorgeous, and we had it nearly to ourselves. The sand was so soft and white, while the water was crystal clear. From in front of the house the beach stretched as far as you could see in either direction. When we were booking, Andy was very helpful, quick to respond to questions, even called once from the UK. Ralphie, the house manager was so friendly, always available to help in any way. The housekeepers were lovely and took good care of us. We would absolutely recommend this house to travelers!!

This should be a 5 star property and could be again.

This is a really lovely property that needs a little more TLC. The onsite house manager was terrific and responsive. The offsite manager communicated well and was responsive. The beach is really nice, the location is okay but not terrific. The home is falling behind somewhat on maintenance. The kitchen cabinets are in a state of disrepair. Appliances and mattresses need replacing to be competitive at this price point. The only major issue we had is that the kitchen area and cabinets were not properly cleaned prior to our arrival. There were dirty dishes in the cabinet and the drawers had obviously not been cleaned out for a long while. We had to hand wash everything before we used it. There are cameras facing the primary living area of the home where the living room and kitchen are located. The balcony outside the master bedroom also has a camera facing the sitting area. This was not disclosed prior to arrival and is a clear violation of privacy. Be aware that you are sharing the property with guests staying on the first floor. The pool was too cold to use during our stay (mid 70's). We travel extensively and stay in homes of this size and price range frequently. My views are influenced by our comparable stays including others on this same trip.

The sand was sugar soft and clean. Loved every second of it. Now you know. Beware.

Unfortunately, this property fell extremely short of our expectations. Likewise, experience with the host-Andy and management. Our party of 10 booked this unit for one week in the middle of 11/22. Our plane was delayed and we arrived close to midnight. Upon arrival, I realized that the host never made available the access code. I immediately started calling and sending messages to the host. No response. We stood out on the street near the locked gates for over an hour, tired, hungry, upset, and frustrated, with nowhere to go. Finally we got lucky and secured a taxi. We drove to Hilton Hotel, unloaded our luggage and hoped to get rooms to get some rest. We were informed that there no available rooms. We loaded our stuff back inside a taxi and headed to Radisson. No luck. As we were waiting in the lobby and everyone was frantically searching for nearby hotels and tickets back home or to another island, Andy, who was awakened by Vrbo claim manager, finally woke up and shared the access code. Then I was informed by manager Ralph of unawareness of our booking and that the unit hasn’t been prepared for our arrival. But we were relieved we would have a place to spend the night. It was around 4:00am when we finally accessed the unit. The beds were undone. House was a wreck. Kitchen was absolute filth. Not something anyone wants to see when they expect to arrive to the paradise that’s listed on the photos. Now, specifically about the property. Do not be fooled by the pictures. These pictures are pure photoshop. The furniture is old. The mattresses are old. Every time you turn the mattress makes squeaky sounds and the coils poke you in the back. Everyone in our party complained of that. Air conditioning is available in bedrooms ONLY. Yes, no air conditioning in the bathrooms. In fact, the bathrooms windows had shutters, but no glass to protect against the heat and the insects. So it’s an invitation for mosquitos to come inside every time you flip on the lights. On the first day we didn’t know this, and left the bathroom door open and mosquitos flew inside the bedroom. I felt like I was the bait. I was not able to fall asleep because I heard mosquitos flying, and when I finally fell asleep I woke up with multiple bites on my face and my body. When the wind blew the shutters banged against the window frame and that was very annoying. I can go on and on about everything that was wrong with this property, but I just wanted to share these highlights.

The Crows nest is a wonderful home. It is everything they said it was. The staff was kind and helpful. The beach was beautiful and perfect for our big family. The views were gorgeous and peaceful. We loved it!

Barbados Recharge

Needed a week away and this was just perfect for relaxing and connecting with friends. Great home close to everything and nothing was left undone or disappointing. We had some meal prepared by a local chef that left us wanting more- sunset cruises- fishing- and lots of time “bobbing” in the ocean. When we weren’t there we hung at the pool and bar- would highly recommend Ralphie and his team- lots of memories!!!

Memories For A Lifetime

We had the best week at CROWSNEST II. The house is extremely comfortable. The absolutely stunning beach is steps away from the home. If we were not on the beach we were on the top floor which has amazing views of the ocean, the kitchen, adequate seating, bar and pool. All in all we had a very memorable and amazing week, couldn’t ask for more. Thanks to Ralphie for always being available if we had any questions or issues.

Amazing house!

The top floor of this house is truly special. Totally open air with kitchen, dining area, bar, swimming pool, BBQ, and two large sitting areas. Hardly a reason to leave except to go play in the ocean that's only 30 feet away. Can't think of a thing the owners could do to make it better. We very much enjoyed it.
