This bungalow style home in downtown Bryson Cit's was the perfect accommodation for my buddy and me to launch our fishing jaunts in western NC. Not only were we close to our target Rivers, but also close to grocery, shopping and restaurants. This cozy home is decorated to look like a quaint, early 20th century abode with dark furniture and dark woodwork. The upholstered furniture is comfortable and welcoming with many choices of places to sit. The kitchen is well appointed though I should add that we did not cook.
I should point out that the upstairs bathroom (located between the two bedrooms) has a tub but no shower. However, the shower downstairs in the daylight basement is worth the trip! Water pressure and abundance of hot water are remarkable.
The yard was extraordinary in the first week of May with roses, flame azaleas and peonies blooming beautifully. The large back deck provides a gorgeous view of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park peaks surrounding the Deep Creek drainage.
We will definitely use this property again if we return to fish. It would certainly make a nice, cozy, romantic retreat as well.
