Wonderful time

We had a GREAT TIME. We enjoyed all that was there to use. I think the pond, movie rooms and pickleball court was the most favorite. The kitchen was fabulous with all it had in it. We will tell others about this place. Thanks again.

Our Big 50th Anniversary celebrations back home were followed by a 4 night stay at Evergreen -both homes with our family of 24. Every need was met for fun and relaxation. The place was meticulously prepared. The pond was wonderful for kids and adults. We loved the hot tubs and sauna and the campfires and so many nooks to have longer conversations, laugh and enjoy one another. Thank you so much. We hope to get a spot on the calendar to come back.

Youth Retreat at Evergreen Acres

Our students and leaders love, absolutely love, staying at Evergreen Acres; We look forward to this retreat every year. The location is accessible, amenities plenteous, and the hosts are prompt, thoughtful, and communicate so well. Couldn't be more pleased.

Fantastic Property, Even Better Hosts!

Our group of 23 people stayed 3 nights at Evergreen Acres and had an incredible time! The property is absolutely beautiful with so many different amenities from the hot tubs, to the sauna, to the pickleball/basketball court and more! Kitchens and bathrooms were well stocked and both houses were very clean and spacious. Rich and Lisa were extremely responsive and even drove an hour to come help us with a (very minor) issue. I highly recommend booking with Gatheryng, you won't regret it!

A Weekend of Renewal

As our women's group gathered at Evergreen Acres--some returning and some attending for the first time--there was a collective sigh of relaxation and a readiness to engage with one another. The beautifully decorated spaces, the thoughtful touches, and the abundantly supplied homes, exceeded every expectation. We had a 5 night stay using both the retreat house and the barn for a family reunion. The retreat house was well configured for handicap accessible on the main level. Lots of great activities for young kids through adults. Will definitely be back!

Retreat, Renew, Refresh

We couldn't have been better cared for during our recent stay at Evergreen Acres. Lisa and Rich are so hospitable and quick to respond to any little question. The homes are attractively decorated and so clean and welcoming. The women who gathered for our retreat were blown away again by the beauty of the space and the thoughtfulness of the hosts.

I don’t think we could’ve asked for a better place

We wanted a retreat location that felt like we were going far outside the city, but that was still close enough or we weren’t wasting a whole day traveling, at 30 minutes from our office location was tremendous, there were so many options for Spaces and different environments all within the two homes. All of the furnishings and amenities were top-notch, but I think what really set this place apart was the pre-planning and care given to our stay by the House Manager and the owners, I felt like it was a boutique planning company more than just a short term rental. We will definitely be back.

Excellent experience!

My husband's family were the original owners of this property and built the main house, tennis court and smaller lake. We were amazed at how beautiful the renovation of the main house and barn turned out! Every convenience you could ask for. The weather did not cooperate, but it didn't matter because the house and barn are configured perfectly for large gatherings! We couldn't have been happier with our stay and will try to come back once a year! Thank you for sharing this beautiful property with our family and friends.

We have been taking a family vacation every year with all our kids & grandkids. This is one of the nicest properties we have ever stayed at. We would definitely stay here again!We booked the house & barn. Both were very nicely decorated, clean and extremely well stocked. Nearly anything one could need was provided for. There was plenty of sleeping options and lots of things to give us all something to do. The kids really enjoyed the hot tubs, tennis court, game rooms, theater & kayaking on the pond. The adults enjoyed the outside seating and eating areas, the well-stocked kitchens, and the relaxing atmosphere.The owners have been doing a lot of renovations, and the recent upgrades are very nice! Unlike some other properties we've stayed at, everything here is well maintained. All the furniture is very sturdy. The decorations are very nice, not "stark" like we've experienced elsewhere. It really makes you feel "at home"!The only negative was that the listing on Vrbo had not been updated with the recent upgrades, so we were a little surprised when we arrived. The owners, however, addressed the situation (which was due to an oversight) immediately. It is obvious they are passionate about the property and really care about the client experience! They bent over backwards to communicate and make sure we were happy. Which we were!!

50th Wedding Anniversary Reunion

Our 4 children and spouses, and our 26 grandchildren just finished a delightful stay at the Gatheryng House and Barn. The pond, hot tub, basketball court, soccer field and trails gave our teens and "middles" plenty to do. I thought they had more fun swimming and playing than a day at a fun park: it was that much fun. The accommodations were excellent--I mean excellent and thoughtful--but without being over-the-top opulent. We felt comfortable. The owners of the property were very attentive and responsive. I recommend this venue without the slightest qualification. It was just great!

Better than imagined

My family had a reunion at The Gatheryng this month. This included over 35 family members from 6 states. The Retreat, The Barn and the grounds were impeccably maintained, extremely well appointed, and very comfortable. We enjoyed meals together in the Retreat, swam in the pond, used all of the games provided (pool, ping pong, shuffle board, fuse ball, rock wall, etc.). There was plenty for everyone of every age to do and plenty of quiet space too. I highly recommend this venue not only because the facilities were fantastic but because Lisa and Rich were informative, welcoming, and extremely responsive. Thank you for being the perfect place to make new memories and facilitate my parents meeting 4 great grand kids for the first time and celebrating their 70th anniversary with (almost) the whole family!
