This was a perfect place to stay in the northern Georgia mountains! Plenty of room to accommodate. Very clean and inviting. The lake sounds with birds chirping was amazing during morning coffee. The hosts were responsive with our check in and check out, along with any questions. Highly recommended this cozy mountain retreat!

Loved the house and location

House was very clean and had everything we needed. Loved the secluded area and able to fish in the river. Would definitely recommend.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location above the river. House is updated and very comfortable. We liked the seclusion and privacy. As far as fishing goes, we were disappointed with the lack of fish (zero) we caught (30 years experience fishing many other sections of the Chattahoochee) but spending the day among the shoals and rushing water made up for it. Great place to spend some time together, as long as catching fish isn’t the priority.

Family Getaway

Took a mini vaca with the family, the house is beautiful the river was plus the kids enjoy will give the house a 4 ⭐️ here’s why 1) upon arrival got there at 4:10 there was a car there which was the cleaning lady (running behind) so we had to wait about 10 minutes or so 2) grab the air fryer to cook some wings and gesh it was dirty also the Keurig coffee maker (grab from the closet) 3) don’t like that cars be passing by behind the house 4) there was some places where it had few webs and dead black bugs Other than that it was fun!

Gaby's on the River was great. The house is very private, surrounded by trees. The house was very clean, and the beds were so comfortable! We had all the cooking utensils needed. The house is spacious. We enjoyed the pool table. The only thing I would say that was slightly negative is that it was not easy getting into the water. My kids like to get into the water, but the banking is lined with large rocks which made it difficult to do that. There was a very small area you could get into the water, but the grass around it was overgrown and I was nervous about snakes! Overall it was a great stay and we would definitely stay here again.

Horrible visit

The steps to the property are not even and are not lighted. One of our family members wwnt yo retrieve his billfold after dark and due to the unlite strps and the way they were built he fell. This happened Friday night so we spent the rest of our stay at Gainesville hospital where he wad in ICU until Tuesday. He is syill recovering from this fall. The property management did not get in tough with us until late Monday. They were very concerned and after hearing our problems they promised a certificate where we could visit again but we have not received it. We are very disappointed but we would recommend that these strps be replaced and lights be installed but. we have not received it.
