Perfect blend of chill, nature, and romance

We stayed here for a weekend to celebrate our ninth anniversary. It was lovely! As I said in the title, it's the perfect blend of chill, nature, and romance. The decor is super cool (conversation pieces), and the host included plenty of thoughtful extras to ensure a great experience. The s'mores kit was right on time! We hiked on the property (a great hike with excellent views) and in Shenandoah. We also enjoyed the hot tub, the outdoor fire pit (star gazing), and everything indoors, too. FIVE STARS!!

Everything was included

We only visited for two days and wish we could have stayed longer. Kevin and Jamie thought of everything when supplying guests with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Condiments, spices, extra towels, robes and slippers to name just a few. It was a pleasant surprise. We'll be back in the near future!

Where to begin….First of all, the pictures and property description are 110% accurate. Once we booked within a short time the hosts had already reached out to establish communication. That made us very comfortable and built trust. Hosts maintained communication throughout the entire stay, including checkout. That being said, it was not overbearing. It was simple texts with additional contact methods, suggestions for dining and recreation, additional amenity information such as refilling hot tub or access to firewood.The property was clean and there was a S’more kit awaiting us on arrival. Hot tub was clean and quiet! Hosts had additional information packet/binder inside that assisted guests with directions, places to see, best establishments to eat, and more!Unit was well stocked with basic toiletries. Dual shower was great! King bed, open concept.You’ll thoroughly enjoy the unit decor. WiFi was easy to access and allowed for constant connection (we do have children so it was important knowing they could reach us). We had no issues streaming from the smart TV and using both our cellular devices. Unit also has laundry on premise. Location was 15-20 minutes to the skyline drive, caverns, historic downtown, and more. We did utilize both host recommendations and online reviews. If you’re looking to relax in a remote location but still a quick drive to entertainment stop and reserve this property.
