Great place. Wonderful setup. The neighborhood has lots to offer and easy to walk to other neighborhoods. Its a bit noisy but that's to be expected being in the heart of the city and the host provides plenty of ear plugs for sleeping.

Super stay in the heart of vancouver

We had a beautiful stay in vancouver. In the appartement everything was very well organized: key pick up, all kind of utensils for kitchen and cooking, for bathroom and laundry was provided. Washing machine, dryer, dish washer, coffeemachine, toaster, tv with streaming and so on - we felt like at home. Tranport was comfortable - a lot of bus stops within short range. Communication with Maha was easy - not much reason but if, she was very responsive. Reaction within hours. Overall we can recommend.

Wonderful location

This apartment is ideally located for enjoying Vancouver. It’s an easy walk to False Creek with its charming ferries, to Coal Harbour and to many nice shops and restaurants. Grocery stores are close by as well, and the apartment has all the necessary cooking implements for a nice meal at home after a day’s outing. Although we expected to hear ambulances as the apartment is close to a hospital, it really wasn’t an issue. As other reviewers have said, the building is a little dated but everything is very clean and Maha, the host, is responsive and eager to answer any questions. This place makes a great base for exploring and a nice place to come home to at the end of the day. Thank you for a great stay, Maha.

Great location in Vancouver

This is a well maintained apartment that is an easy walk to Granville Island, Yaletown and Davie. Lots of good coffee shops and restaurants nearby, with a great market and movie theater three blocks away. Maha is available if you need her, and provides a clean place furnished with everything you need to “live” in Vancouver. The fireplace was particularly great on cold, rainy nights, and it is fun to sit on the outdoor patio and watch city life unfold beneath you. We would definitely stay here again.

Great property & great location!

The property was just as the photos show - light, bright and tastefully decorated. The location was perfect for exploring all around Vancouver - easy to rent bikes just down from the apartment and ride the entire sea wall and around Stanley Park. An easy walk to sunset beach to enjoy amazing views of sunset and all the people out playing on the beaches. Easy to get to Granville Island - not a bad walk if you are looking to get some exercise - or easy/inexpensive cab ride. Bed is comfortable and shower pressure is excellent! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Perfect Stay in Vancouver

This was my first trip to Vancouver! it was the perfect downtown location with easy access to all of the sites and places that we wanted to visit. There is a lot to do in the neighborhood (plenty of stores. restaurants, etc.). The owner, Maha, was extremely responsive and helpful during our arrival and stay. Great location, great hosts!

We had a great time in Vancouver, our first visit to the city. The apartment was just as described, very clean and very convenient location. It didn't hurt that the weather was just perfect! Hilda and Maha were great hosts. They gave us a thorough rundown of the amenities and were not phased that we were held up from our expected arrival time in the least. Their recommendation for a bike rental outfitter close by was helpful, and we had a nice ride around the sea wall. Sunset Beach and Granville Island were particularly close by. We hope to visit Vancouver again and wouldn't hesitate to stay here.

Location, Location, Location

Maha was informative, articulate and responsive to our booking, arrival and queries during our stay. The photos of the accommodations are accurate, it is a squeaky clean and well appointed environment. Vancouver is a bustling, international city audible and visible from the balcony; yet the apt building is very quiet we never heard noise generated within the walls, floors or halls. Walk, bike, ride public transportation right out the door to a multitude of sea, city, park, restaurant venues.

Lovely time in Vancouver!

Good location, just 10-minute walk to Yaletown and Granville Island and Robson Street. Nice view from 6th floor balcony. We enjoyed breakfasts and a dinner sitting out on balcony, relaxing in the beautiful Vancouver summer weather. Unit was clean and attractive. We also appreciated the Netflix access online with the ability to watch hundreds of TV shows and movies. There's even a nice gym downstairs. We would definitely consider returning to this nice unit, perfect size for a couple.

Great city apartment w/view

Nice modern apartment in the heart of the city, with great walkability and transit options, near the best of everything Vancouver has to offer. Great restaurants nearby, easy transit or bike to Stanley Park and Granville Island. Small but comfortable living room and bedroom. Very well equipped kitchen. Nice view of the city profile and north shore mountains. Only downside is some street noise from local nightclubs and a nearby hospital which seemed to launch an ambulance roughly every 17 seconds (the property owner does provide earplugs for noisy evenings). However, the people in the building were very quiet. Would recommend for anyone visiting Vancouver as an alternative to a hotel as you experience the city more like a "local."

Great value and location

I was looking for a reasonably priced alternative to the waterfront hotels in downtown Vancouver for a recent business trip and found this jewel. It is located in the heart of downtown, equidistant from the Convention Center/Coal Harbour, Yaletown and Rogers Arena and West End/Stanley Park. Multiple choices for quick and/or more upscale dining within a 5 minute walk. The 1 bd apartment itself is tastefully decorated and was spotless upon arrival, so much so that I was motivated to leave it so for the next guest! Kitchen is fully equipped and proprietors leave essentials and treats in the fridge. Secure building, cabs and bus stop just outside your door. I would definitely recommend if you prefer experiencing the downtown neighborhoods, as I do, instead of the more sterile tourist environs.

Centrally located cute apartment

We enjoyed our stay in Maha’s spacious and clean apartment. She provided everything we could possibly have needed- from dish soap, condiments, dishes, to umbrellas, maps and brochures of the area. The windows provided very nice ventilation throughout. The kitchen was very cute. Maha was also available to answer any questions. The only downside really was the street noise. The apartment is located on a very loud downtown street, and in addition to traffic and sirens, you hear loud music on Friday night. But- Maha was thoughtful enough to provide earplugs! Overall the positive outweighed the negative and I would recommend this rental.

Clean downtown apartment

Stayed in this property in October 2019. Overall it is a great place to stay. Communication with the owner was always prompt and any questions quickly answered. Check-in and out was very easy. The place is very clean and exactly as pictured. Location is right downtown and lots of restaurants right around the building. Overall it appeared to be a very safe area. Unit came with one parking space which was nice, just be forewarned it is a tight fit so I would recommend only having a smaller vehicle. As stated in other reviews the couch is uncomfortable so if you are looking to spend a lot of time in the apartment be prepare for that. That would be the only negative thing I would have to say about the place. Other than that everything was great and I would stay there again.

Everything you could want for your downtown stay

For our stay in Vancouver, I did a lot of research. I wanted a great location that we could walk to everything, nice accommodations, and also secure parking. This apartment had it all, as well as a great price. The apartment was 2 blocks from the beach and overlooked a great part of the city. I loved how open the apartment was, and it felt just like being at home. There was a secure parking space right inside the building, which was perfect. The owners were awesome! We planned to meet at a certain time to get the keys, but we got stuck in traffic, and were over an hour late. Hilda was very nice and didn't seem to mind. We also wanted to take a ferry back to Seattle, and the owners researched and recommended the best way to do that. I will be back in Vancouver again in the next two years, and plan to stay at this apartment.

Simply Perfect

The apartment is compulsive clean and neat. All the furnishing are in good shape. All the cleaning supplies, utensils, pots and pans one could want. Top flight streaming setup; the owner provides streaming gratis. The neighborhood, Davie Circle, has a great many restaurants ranging from intimate to immense… Lots of moderately priced ethnic places, but also high end places. Davie is a club scene, active but no where near crazy. The building is extremely well-kept and secure in a walk to everything location. Easy access to Granville Market downtown, Canada Place and every mode of transportation. Doors, elevators and garage are all fob-controlled. The apartment is three good sized main rooms plus a nice balcony with a table and chairs. The bed is large and very comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked and appointed. The living/dining area is comfortably furnished. Perhaps best of all the owner was the best we’ve dealt with. She never took more than an hour to respond to anything. Booking and 24-hour check/in were seamless. We had an issue with the TV as a previous tenant had left a sound bar turned up high. The owner came immediately and diagnosed and fixed the problem. In 40+ rentals we have has almost all great experiences, but this was over the top.

No major complaints but many small issues

On the surface this place is pretty good - nice location, secured underground parking, full kitchen and good amenities but there are numerous small issues that detract from the charm. What could be improved: The place needs a good cleaning - dust build up on various surfaces caused allergy issues. The floors weren’t clean either. The grout around the bathroom sink is black with mold, as are parts of the bathtub (especially corners). The exhaust fan in the bathroom is completely blocked with dust. The shelf in the bathroom also needs new plaster/drywall. The bed squeaks loudly whenever you move, the trim around the bedroom windows is also black with mold. The closet doors don’t open fully due to an alignment issue, and the kitchen drawers can’t be opened unless the refrigerator is also open (due to clearance issues). The entry light doesn’t work, there are no bins for recycling and we couldn’t find extra trash bags. The sofa was terribly uncomfortable and the noise from the street kept us up most nights (until we found that the windows weren’t latched shut). The mini blinds have a few issues and don’t keep out much, if any, of the city lights. The pillows and other bedding are also well-used and could be replaced. Then there’s the issue of short-term rental, which is an issue throughout Vancouver so being discrete felt a little awkward. Also, turning the keys back in at the end of the stay is impossible if you are parked in the garage, and requires two people to coordinate locking of the apartment and unlocking of the elevator. The view wasn’t exactly amazing. The apartment looks out over a gas station and into a couple other apartments. No water or mountains in the view. Overall it was a cute place and we did mostly enjoy the trip. This place could use some maintenance, however, and was a bit pricey when considering the furnishings and other little niggles.
