Im Obergeschoss befinden sich zwei Schlafzimmer, zwei private Badezimmer, ein zusätzliches Wohnzimmer mit einem 55-Zoll-LG-Smart-TV und eine umlaufende Terrasse mit herrlichem Blick auf die kleine Stadt und das Meer. 1303 ist nur einen Block von dieser malerischen, 1884 gegründeten Stadt entfernt. Adelaides Café und Buchhandlung befindet sich nebenan in einem zweistöckigen historischen Gebäude und serviert Eis am Stiel. The location is perfect, just a quick walk to the beach. They also had everything we needed for a great gathering. The kitchens were fully stocked, there were several activities to keep us entertained, and the dogs were well taken care of

Spring Break on the coast

Wonderful time at coast with family. House was well cared for, well stocked and very clean. Proximity to beach is wonderful. Hope to come back soon and would rent this home again.

we loved the amount of bed rooms and bath rooms. beds could use updated were pretty uncomfortable. very nicely stocked for everything you would want for towels, pans, chairs, the outside grounds had so many sticker weeds that the kids and the two little dogs had several in their feet the kids sand with swing and the volleyball court. The house is very convent to the beach and the little stores in town. Overall great place

New Years at the Beach

Family Gathering

The configuration of this property was perfect for our family group. The large fenced yard was great because we had two dogs and two small children. Most of the furnishings are a bit worn, for us that was fine. The downstairs queen bed in the guest house was noisy and uncomfortable. The kitchens were extremely well stocked. The hot water heater in the main house is very small, likely because of concerns about overloading the septic system. So showers and baths need to be staggered. The living room is small so it’s difficult to gather a large group in one place. Overall we were happy with the rental

Something for Everyone

Having two houses gave our extended family plenty of room spread out. The teens and younger liked to hang out in the game room with the pool table and the video game machine. All of us gathered in the big house's theater for movie nights. We used the firepit in the yard for roasting hot dogs and smores. The dog loved running around the fenced yard. Our only complaint would be that the yard and the kid toys in the yard have run down since we were there two years ago. The swing set, tunnel and playhouse all need renovation, and the sand boxes, gardens and patio need to be weeded. Even so, this is our favorite place to stay in Ocean Park/Long Beach. Not only is there something for everyone to enjoy, but being able to walk to Jack's Country Store, restaurants and the beach makes it the perfect location!

Cathartic and Relaxing Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at many vacation homes and there is almost always some small issue, but this home was stunning. Clean, WELL stocked and incredibly impressive in every way. Every single remote control had full batteries, there were more towels than we knew what to do with, every appliance worked exactly as it should and we were all stunned at the ideal location. It is one block from the beach, one block from the country store (which has everything you could need for a week at a beach house), 15 minute drive from Long Beach and 64 flavors of ice cream and $10.00 bike rentals for an amazing bike path. I genuinely can't say enough wonderful things and I am already looking at moving and buying a home in the area because it was love at first sight.

I wish it was more announced that dogs stay at the property because that would’ve been a deal breaker, off the bat. We also noticed a lot of dog hairs. We had 4 babies under 2, so cleanliness was a priority for us but it wasn’t up to par.

Easy access for those who want to drive on beach

If driving on the beach is your thing, this is a good place to stay as it's right on the road to beach access. It makes it a little trickier to use this beach when you have younger children. The house is big enough to house a good-size group, but be aware that this is a very old house and the floors are very creaky. Not good if the people upstairs are up later than the downstairs people. The two king beds both need new mattresses. They were lumpy and uncomfortable. Two of the living room chairs should also be updated/replaced. The kitchen is well appointed, and thankfully there is a large room off the kitchen where you can put the food you bring, etc. We did have a very good time as an extended family, as there is lots to do in the area. We also enjoyed playing games at the big table.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I love it when descriptions and pictures accurately portray a rental house. And I am so grateful when expectations are exceeded. Our three small families (6 adults, 2 children) made this our home for a week. The accommodations allowed each family to have their space and for all of us to enjoy the wonderful amenities such as the large dining room table around which all of us fit, the well-stocked kitchen where we prepared 90% of our meals and the great selection of toys with which our two grandchildren played. The wrap-around porches provided outside pleasure when we were not at the beach just over the hill. The laundry was a necessity and located so perfectly at the back of the house. Our adult children relished the hot tub at the end of the day. Access to the beauty of the peninsula was what drew us to this house and we traveled the 28 miles in both directions taking in the natural beauty as well as the convenience of Jack's Market (multiple trips), Adelaides Bookstore (an oasis of peace), Coastal Corners (delicious produce, bread and wines), and the kite store (thanks, Ron, for your expertise). We were %100 satisfied.

Reviewer Comments: This was the 4th time our group of 6 retired adults stayed in this property and we did have a few problems. The major one was a non working gas fireplace. Because it was Easter weekend a repair crew did not arrive until Monday afternoon. The entire burner had to be replaced so we had the use of the fireplace for half of our 4 day stay. The yard and landscaping need to be cleaned and trimmed. An old storm door (broken on our first stay by heavy winds and rain) is laying along the west side of house with weeds growing up through gaps. The changes that have been made to property of making small den off kitchen a bedroom and adding large TV above fireplace were not to our liking. The ladies in our group liked not having a noisy TV in quaint living room. A place of quiet and calm. The shower curtain rods in upstairs bathrooms are cheep tension rods with plastic hooks. Neither rod or rig stays in place. Spend a few more dollars on a permanent rod with quality curtain and rings. We may use property again but may look elsewhere.

Amazing

Our family and extended family gets together 1 to 2 times a year and this year we chose here. The accommodations were better than we expected and the house was completely stocked with everything we needed and things that we didn’t even realize that we needed. Great communication and such a beautiful location. I recommend this location to anyone and everyone. We will definitely be back !!!!!!!
