Overview of The House
After being unavailable as a vacation rental for 6 years we're happy to say Chestnut Ridge House is back for your enjoyment!

And this house is definitely a "Rambler"... with so many unique spaces to create memories. We have indoor and outdoor areas with a welcoming feel for families, friends, staycations, reunions, work shops.
The kitchen is well stocked, the washrooms are contemporary and the beds comfy.

The Rooms
The Great Room with expansive windows overlooking the woodsy acre is perfect for hanging out & just being together. Turn on the vinyl or the TV. It feels like a tree house day or night!

Garden Room
Indulge in a pre-dinner cocktail in the relaxing sun-filled Garden Room with its palmy decor and mix of MCM & white wicker furnishings. The chaise is ideal for lounging. The perfect spot to catch that late afternoon sun!

The Library
Be sure to make time for a game of chess or backgammon in the Library. It's refined but laid-back & you won't want to leave! Hideaway with a book or hang out together.

Kitchen
It's an ideal layout and it's well stocked. Plenty of dishes, pots, cutlery and even a charming Coffee & Tea station.
Now your biggest decision will be where to eat - great room, deck or cozy breakfast nook!

The Deck
The deck is huge with 3 story high views overlooking the park-like yard and creek. A large patio table and several chairs make it like an extended dining room.

The Backyard
It's more like a park!

The Bedrooms All bedrooms are nicely appointed with extra linens

The Primary Suite
The spacious Primary Suite has a king bed and views of the forest and front garden. The ensuite bath has a soaker tub and antique vanity.

Lower Level with a daybed and queen bed

Washrooms
The hall washroom is contemporary with a rain shower.

We haven't even taken the spiral stairs down to the lower level yet! Once downstairs you can let the games begin. There is fuse-ball, ping pong and darts. Follow the games up with a movie in the Theatre Area with ..... actual theatre seats!

And if you like yoga - choose one of many ideal spots indoors or out that have a Zen feel with scenic pastoral views from every room.

Accessibility: From the garage there is 1 step into the mudroom area and access to the deck. The house is quite accommodating for those with limited accessibility.

Brighton and Chestnut Ridge House are approx. 144 Km (90 mins) from Toronto and 258 Km from Ottawa
We are a perfect base for Daytripping to PEC and Northumberland Hills. Discover all the area has to offer from the comfort of your new Home Away From Home.
We're surrounded by golf courses and in fact across from the creek in the backyard and up the hill ( or around the corner ) is Timber Ridge Golf.
