Was für ein wunderschöner Ort, um Ferien zu verbringen! Das Front Cottage liegt im Herzen von Suttons Bay und ist ein atemberaubendes, unteres Haus im Vintage-Stil. Es gibt 3 Schlafzimmer und 1 Badezimmer in diesem einstöckigen Cottage, das nach Nordwesten ausgerichtet ist. Schlaf bis zu 5.
Berücksichtigt wöchentliche oder kurze Aufenthalte zu jeder Jahreszeit. Sommer 3 Nächte Minimum. Kurzaufenthalte sind während der Sommersaison erlaubt. Bei Buchungen von weniger als 7 Übernachtungen, die online gebucht werden, wird keine Anzahlung in Rechnung gestellt, bis die Reservierung am nächsten Arbeitstag von Visit Up North bestätigt wird. Das Ankunfts- und / oder Abreisedatum muss sich auf bestehende Reservierungen stützen und / oder am Samstag oder Sonntag beginnen / enden. Memorial und Labor Day Wochenenden erfordern drei Nächte.

1 Queen, 1 Full und 1 Daybed. Fernseher in allen Schlafzimmern. Treten Sie von der Straßenseite in ein charmantes Wohnzimmer mit schönen dekorativen Elementen ein. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet, um Mahlzeiten zuzubereiten, und umfasst Edelstahlgeräte einschließlich Geschirrspüler. Holzböden im ganzen. Gaskamin Kabelfernsehen. Waschmaschine und Trockner auch für Ihre Bequemlichkeit.

Ein wunderschöner Strand ist gleich um die Ecke, ein sehr einfacher Spaziergang. Parken Sie Ihr Auto während Ihres gesamten Aufenthalts. Sie können alle Geschäfte und Restaurants in Suttons Bay zu Fuß erreichen! Nur 16 Meilen nach Traverse City. Die Bibliothek direkt hinter dem Cottage bietet Filmverleih und Bücher, die Sie am nahe gelegenen öffentlichen Sandstrand genießen können. Nebenan und auf der anderen Straßenseite können Sie wunderbar speisen. Nur wenige Schritte entfernt befinden sich auch das Bay Theater, ein Café, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und vieles mehr. Der Leelanau Trail führt von Suttons Bay nach Traverse City. Sie können diesen Weg zu jeder Jahreszeit zum Wandern, Radfahren oder Langlaufen nutzen. Leihen Sie sich ein dickes Reifenrad und probieren Sie ein wenig Winterradfahren. Bauernmärkte, Weingüter und das Leelanau Sands Casino befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Sie werden in dieser großartigen Gegend viel zu tun haben.

Labor Day weekend stay

Great location and very clean and comfortable. Don't come to this place expecting to be able to connect to the Wi-Fi or watch television though.. 4 tvs and only one of them in the bedroom worked. Property manager, Lindsay is great to work with. Overall good stay. Thanks!

Fun and relaxing

The location of the house was perfect for walking to shops and restaurants and the beach. The rental shop was close too and we wheeled our kayaks and paddle boards to the beach. It was clean and quiet. We hit the road twice to climb the dunes too. Just a great place. We will be back!

Great location and value but could use some updates and details

This property is in the heart of town, which is both a good and bad thing. Was super convenient to be across the street from the beach and playground, right by ice cream store, etc. However, both the restaurants across the street and right next door play music at night and although they state that they close at 10 pm, they did not. It was challenging getting kids to sleep because of the noise and the fact that the sun goes down up north not until well after 9 pm and rises about 6 am. None of the rooms have curtains, only thin blinds. Some room darkening curtains would make a huge difference for everyone to get good sleep. We also had issues with the Internet going out repeatedly. Contact with the property company was scarce.

It has a great location, walkable to downtown Suttons Bay shopping, restaurants, bars, movie theater. The beach is located a couple hundred yards and the library located behind the property. Road noise and the bar/restaurant with could be noisy after dark. Parking was good.

I would note that the house is close to the road which is great for convenience to downtown, but the road noise is very noticeable inside particularly at night. We also had a few dishes in the kitchen that were put away but had not been cleaned. Aside from that, it is a very welcoming place and was the perfect little weekend home.

Perfect for a Sisters Rendezvous

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My three sisters and I could not have asked for a nicer cottage in which to spend our 2021 Rendezvous. It really felt like spending time at a friend's summer place. We enjoyed morning coffee in front of the gas fireplace and evening wine on the front porch as we watched the quiet community go by. This cottage is very well appointed with everything we could have wanted (except, perhaps a lamp in the double bedroom). The location is really convenient for enjoying all that the Leenanau Peninsula has to offer and downtown Suttons Bay is just a short walk away. Hoping to have an excuse to rent Green Shutter Cottage again.

We did enjoy our stay for the most part, although I wish I would have read the reviews more thoroughly before booking. On Friday night our guests got almost no sleep. There was a lot of noisy foot traffic into the early morning hours. The front bedroom needs noise reducing curtains! Also, no wifi the entire weekend. I realize this isn't an emergency, but wish someone would have come to at least try resetting the router.

Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our Girls Weekend trip to Suttons Bay and nearby traverse city and the price was right on this cottage- but have lots of suggestions for the property owner. First of all, cottage needed a deep clean. Surfaces were fine but lots of dead bugs and cobwebs under tables and in corners plus old cottage smell made it not feel so homey. We were ok with vacuuming but couldn't find a vacuum under 30 yrs old with a hose attachment. Paperwork says to call if it's not clean but who has time for that? I'm on vacation! More than one mornings worth of coffee would've been nice. Also since there's only one bath, please hang a few more mirrors in bedrooms so ladies can do makeup or hair instead of waiting to use bathroom. Only mirror in entire place was in bath. Extra towels and linens would be helpful and things like Kleenex and tin foil or cling wrap available. Property wasn't bad and location was nice but not sure we will stay again.

This was not our first time renting this cottage. Unfortunately, this stay wasn’t as nice as in previous years. It was clean when we arrived, but smelled very stuffy, like it had been closed up for quite some time. The pillows on the couch had a musty smell that was very noticeable and unsettling.

Reviewer Comments: Nice home clean however, the key in the lock box worked very poorly opening and locking the front door, and did not get it to work in the side door at all. Because the large shrubs along the side of the house are so overgrown when the wind blows throughout the night, the shrubs grate against the screens and the windows. Change the front door lock to a coded key lock pad. Trim some of the greenery and then you get a five star review.

Pretty Sutton’s Bay

Well cared for property. Very clean with all the needed amenities. Vintage home with refurbished woodwork everywhere. A lot of room for a family to eat and sleep in great location. My only concern was the house was split into 3 separate entrances and the lower level had only street access with no views or comfortable outdoor seating. Amazing beach within steps but no views or ability to enjoy within the property. There is also an outdoor bar/restaurant right up against the bedroom wall and window. You can hear all the diners conversations until they close at 9:00. All in all, considering the price, I would have wanted some outdoor space and a tiny bit more privacy. The parking is also street parking which is tricky during prime dining hours. Wish this had been explained more. You will enjoy the location if you are spending time in the town.

Nice location on the edge of downtown Suttons Bay

We love staying in Suttons Bay, as everything is walkable. This house was at the north end of the city, but still walkable to restaurants. There were 3 bedrooms and one bathroom. There was a restaurant right next door and you could hear people talking and their music, while it was open. But luckily, it closed at 8:00 pm. My husband and I stayed in the front bedroom and you could hear the traffic in the morning. Other than that, the kitchen and living room were roomy and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking.

Good house. Bad property manager.

The house is a good house. Other reviews are accurate. The management comapny that the owner is using is aweful. A one hour session from a handy man would do this place wonders. The management company harassed us to sign a contract that could only put fear into a guest. Lots of instructions with bold text that is condescending are plasterd all over the house. The management company's rules say, do not email any issues. But the office is closed so please just leave a voicemail message for them to get back to you when they feel like it. Then they also say to not call the off hours number unless it is an absolute emergency. During the weekend they check in with a different number that they won't answer if you call it back(that voicemail says it is a texting only number). It was a very confusing stay that could have been great had a different host/manager who actually cares was in place.
