Mollys Beach Cottage wurde in den 1930er Jahren für die stille Schauspielerin Molly Malone gebaut. Sie war in mehr als 80 Stummfilmen zu sehen. Das Haus ist gemütlich und geräumig, bietet Platz für bis zu 5 Personen und bietet eine luxuriöse und komfortable Einrichtung.

Wenn man durch die holländische Tür hereinkommt, ist man überrascht, den großzügigen Eingangsbereich mit Schieferböden und dem großen Wohnzimmer mit Hartholzböden, Kamin und Kathedralendecke zu entdecken. Die Küche ist eine weitere große Überraschung. Liebe es zu kochen? Sie sind am richtigen Ort. Genießen Sie die Gourmetküche mit neuen Geräten, darunter zwei Backöfen. Speisen Sie am großen französischen antiken Scheunentisch im offenen Speisesaal. Zwei schöne Schlafzimmer mit Queensize-Betten, ein Büro, zwei Bäder und eine Waschküche sorgen für zusätzlichen Komfort. Toller Garten mit tropischem Laub und wundervoller Außendusche mit heißem und kaltem Wasser.

In den monatlichen Raten inbegriffen ist unsere wundervolle Putzfrau Teresa. Sie kam zweimal im Monat, um das Cottage zu putzen.

Excellent location! Two blocks from beautiful park and beach. Cottage very tastefully done.

Stunning and tastefully decorated two bedroom, two bath. Furnishings and accommodations superior! Well stocked and well equipped. Very much surpassed our expectations. Owner very friendly and helpful (Lydia). Excellent location in north village two blocks from beach. Easy walk to most other things.

Perfect in every way!!

This is an absolute high-end gem place to stay. It's in walking distance to the beach, downtown, and only about 100 yards from a great grocery store and coffee place. It was incredibly comfortable in every way. The decor, artwork, furniture was all so beautiful and comfortable. Both bedrooms were also cozy and the bathrooms were perfect. The gourmet kitchen was a fun place to cook and the back yard bbq was really great! I can't say enough about how awesome this place is!!

Excellent stay in Laguna Beach

We very much enjoyed our stay in Laguna Beach and the house was so lovely. The house was immaculate and was fully stocked to meet all of our needs. The front and backyard had lush, well manicured plantation and we were able to sit outside an enjoy our AM coffee. The house was walking distance to everything we chose to do: Heisler and Main Beach, Village area, Art shows/Pageant of Masters. Our children loved the house and especially the private outdoor shower (very spa like) which was perfect after spending a day at the beach. I truly hope to have the opportunity to stay at this property again in the very near future! Thanks for allowing us to stay.

Missing Laguna Beach!

Dear Lydia and David, We LOVE your cottage! It was a perfect week in Laguna...We wish it was longer You are such very gracious hosts, to rent out such a beautiful home. Everything about this place is awesome, the finishes are lovely, the beds are great, and the linens...So lovely to wake up in this house and start your day with a coffee in the great kitchen. Also the outside shower...great for a summer cottage so refreshing and lovely to shower outside after a day at the beach! My 4yr old loved being outside in the back garden, and it was so safe for little ones. The location is great. It's a quiet and friendly neighborhood that is a short walk to the beach and about a 10 minute walk to downtown..everything is within walking distance. It was an extremely relaxing and easy vacation experience and we would definitely stay here again...We really enjoyed our vacation in your lovely home! Outstanding Vacation

My wife, best friend, and his wife (ages 23-28) stayed here for a week in April '11. What a wonderful experience. The owners and their family are extremely friendly and very gracious to rent out such a beautiful home. Everything about this place is spectacular and it tops staying in any hotel. The rooms and beds, kitchen, living room, and the furniture are terrific. It was great to be able to cook a few meals in the new kitchen, catch up on sleep in the comfortable beds, and lounge in the sun-lit living room. The location is great. It's a quiet and friendly neighborhood that is a short walk to the beach and about a 10 minute walk to downtown. We enjoyed body surfing, mountain biking, hiking, and checking out nearby beaches as well. Laguna and Orange County are great places to visit, and this cottage was a treasure to stay in during our vacation. It was an extremely relaxing and refreshing experience and I would definitely stay here again. I look forward to the next trip to Southern California. Tip: If you fly into Orange County, you can take a bus to the location and avoid renting a car.

A very happy holiday in Laguna Beach!

My family and I spent our first Christmas away from our home this year, but we felt right at home in this house! It is gorgeous in every way, from the outside to the inside. The front has so much curb appeal that each morning when I would sit outside drinking my tea (made with water boiled in their really cool teapot!)someone would inevitably walk by and tell me how much they loved "my house" (oh, I wish!). The outdoor shower was a highlight for our kids as well. The inside decor is more stylish than a 5 star hotel! It is very clean and comfortable, which made it all too tempting to spend hours just relaxing in the house--until our kids needed more beach time, to which it was just a very short walk. We never worried about overcrowded parking because of those darn tourist :) because we could just stroll downtown within 5 minutes. This is the place I wish I could retire to after my kids are off to college and we look forward to going back in the future! I would definitely recommend it to a friend....but I also want to keep this little treasure to myself! Thank you so much. You know, I have been designing places and corporate/private jet interiors for nearly forty years. This is a picture perfect two bedroom cottage.

It’s two blocks to the beach and an easy walk downtown to shopping and restaurants. The owner was extremely helpful and answered any questions we had. We stay the month of March and street parking was never a problem. We hope to come back again.

The Secret Cottage

Nestled among soaring banana plants, succulents, daisies and lilies is a- one -of a kind cottage which successfully captures the ambience of Laguna Beach as we once knew it. A former summer home of a twenties movie celebrity the house has been completely restored with comfortable furniture, an updated gourmet kitchen with a family style built-in dining room decorated with beautiful Indonesian antiquities. Art work is found throughout the living areas which include a large living room complete with cable television, two generous sized bedrooms with comfy beds and courtesy robes for after=hour leisure, a private office complete with, sofa, desk, chair, and wi=fi access, two inviting bathrooms one with shower and the other with tub. The front "dutch door" opens to a repurposed sun room, now an attractive reading room, where my husband and I enjoyed novels and magazines as we sank into the two chairs following one of our many walks down to the beach. In the evening we took our cold drinks out to the very private patio just outside the dining room's french doors. Once again we felt miles away from the challenges of daily life, enjoying the garden foliage. It was difficult to say goodbye to this exceptional retreat, so we decided to come back for another visit this Fall.

Perfect Holiday Getaway

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving week in this beautiful Laguna Beach Bungalow. We rented it to have cook a Thanksgiving dinner for your college son and his friends. We had a blast cooking in the kitchen, enjoying the outdoor living space and walking the beach. It was perfectly appointed and we couldn't have wanted for anything. Fantastic location to the beach, restaurants and art galleries. Thank you!

The pictures do not do this cottage justice. It is beautiful and immaculate! My sisters and I were there for a sisters weekend getaway. When Lydia showed us around the house we said we could stay in the house all weekend and never leave because it was so great! The location is great being about a 10 minute walk to the village which has numerous restaurants and shopping. It's also about 2 blocks from the beach. Even after our trip we are still texting each other about how perfect the house was and how much we miss it. David and Lydia were very helpful and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

Delightful, quiet cottage in Laguna Beach

We have just returned from a wonderful week in your lovely cottage and enjoyed it very much The cottage lived up to the photos and descriptions on the internet. It is a beautifully and sensitively designed home. The beds are wonderfully comfortable, the kitchen is immaculately clean and contains every appliance and cooking utensil one could wish for. The beach chairs, towels and boogie boards were an unexpected and most welcome bonus. The complementary wi-fi was a boon. The nearby supermarket in Boat Canyon is walkable and most convenient. The owners recommendation of Fusion Sushi was well considered and led to a memorable meal. We met the owners on arrival which led to a smooth and personable handover. Honeymoon

Excellent experience in Laguna Beach. The interior design is top notch and the property is in great shape. We enjoyed easy walks to the beach and the town center. Parking was always available on the street in front of the cottage, and a grocery store was only a block away. The couple renting to us was helpful, available via phone during our stay, and offered great local restaurant recommendations. I highly recommend this property.

I Dream of Laguna Beach

My family of four stayed here for a dreamy week. The place is very close to a nice area of the beach and pleasantly distant from the L.G. shops etc., though that's within a little walk when you want it. Otherwise we had easy parking and were a skip from any amenity we needed: grocery, pizza, post office, cafe. The cottage itself was immaculate, manicured, and well appointed. The kitchen especially was a joy to use, as were the outdoor showers! I would't change a thing. Perfect for double couples and parents with older children (the owner doesn't seem accustomed to small children).

This cottage in a quiet, convenient neighborhood of Laguna Beach, is an extraordinary home that has been decorated with impeccable taste. We were charmed from the moment we arrived. We had a wonderful visit and will be regulars returning every summer.

A Gem in Northern Laguna

We stayed for Feb. and March 2012 and could not have been more pleased with our accomodations. The owners met us upon arrival and departure dates and we gladly signed up for 2 months in 2013. Numerous family members and guests remarked how well decorated and furnished the house was. The owners went out of there way to contact us during our stay to insure everything in the home was as represented. We are looking forward to our next stay.

Stayed here for Anaheim conference

My wife, a colleague and I stayed in this cottage for a conference we attended in Anaheim. Anaheim was a short drive. We were very happy with our choice. After a day in a Disney hotel it was refreshing to get out and head to Laguna. The cottage is airy, open and inviting. We found everything we needed. We would go for walks around the beach, made meals, ate out, and everything was within walking distance. The owners were very helpful and personable. We had no trouble finding parking. Renting here was a very good experience.

A little piece of Heaven in Laguna Beach.

Dear Lydia and David Thank you. We have just returned from a wonderful week in your lovely cottage and honestly enjoyed every minute of it. Internet rental is potentially a very risky business but the cottage lived up to the photos and descriptions in every way, in fact surpassed them. It is a beautifully and sensitively designed home, terribly well considered, offering every comfort. The beds are wonderfully comfortable, the kitchen is immaculately clean and contains every appliance and cooking utensil one could wish for; to be honest we were very reluctant to leave. It felt like home. It took us about seven minutes to walk to central Laguna with its great selection of restaurants, about five minutes to the beach and lovely Heisler Park (where we watched the sun set most evenings) and just a couple of minutes from an excellent food market that also has a Starbucks. Everything about this cottage is perfect – it’s a little piece of Heaven! Lydia you were a delight to deal with, everything ran smoothly, without a hitch. Thank you for your kindness. We will most definitely return, (if you’ll have us!) but skip NYC this time and elect to stay in Laguna for two or even three weeks. Perfect Laguna Getaway

David and Lydia, Our many thanks for sharing your beautful cottage. Everything about it was perfect and the nearby beach was lovely. We liked having a market so close by and enjoyed some wonderful meals cooked in your gourmet kitchen. David, thank you for greeting us and taking the time to show us around. Charmed!

We stayed with my parents at this wonderful house and really didn't want to leave at the end of our week. The house is larger once you step through the front door than you would expect and beautifully furnished. The location is fantastic, a short walk through Heisler park to downtown and close to art galleries and the Pavilions market. Lydia was extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome. We couldn't have asked for a better experience with our booking.

Wonderful Getaway

My husband, teenage daughter + friend and myself just had the pleasure of staying at this beautifully warm and inviting cottage with all the creature comforts. It was pure "eye candy". The location was a short few minutes walk to the Beach as well as downtown Laguna. It is tucked into a nice neighborhood with a feeling of privacy. No detail is left undone. We all enjoyed every minute of our stay and highly recommend it.

Arrive and park the car and enjoy walking to the beach and town. A quaint beach town that has so many cultural things to offer. Winter playhouse, live productions, the summer time famous Pageant of the Masters and Art Festival. no car needed, take the local bus free in the summers up and down the coast.
