Nice place to stay on the island. Cute and quiet subdivision vibe. (Although this was the off-season so I’m not sure what it would be like in the summer). The unit itself is right in front of the golf cart rental which I worried about being an issue with noise but seemed to be ok. Very clean and lots of space inside. Just like the photos. Make sure you bring hand towels, bath towels, sheets and pillowcases. They provide a thin comforter but we just used our sleeping bags. The deck was also a nice place to have coffee in the morning and listen to the birds in the nature preserve adjacent to the property. Only two small issues but neither are a deal breaker with our experience. It would be nice to have some sort of bath mat when getting out of the shower. I worry about the floor getting warped/ruined over time. There also are no shelves in the master bathroom shower so you end up juggling your soap and having to keep shampoo and other shower items resting on the floor. Ultimately this is a great place to stay when visiting PIB and we would come back again.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review! We’re glad you enjoyed the quiet setting, spacious home, cleanliness, and especially the deck overlooking the nature preserve. Morning coffee out there is definitely one of the perks of this location! We also appreciate the feedback about the bath mat and shower shelving. Those are both good suggestions, and we’ll pass them along to the homeowner as we look at improvements for the property. Most importantly, we’re happy to hear you had a great stay and would come back again. Thank you for choosing Island Club Rentals, and we hope to welcome you back to Put-in-Bay!

Cozy Clean Good Location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the cabin was pretty nice. Clean and had everything you need for your stay outside of linens and towels that you need to bring. But, that is stated several times up front through text messages and emails. The location is close to the downtown area and quiet throughout the evening hours. Wi-Fi is slow, but you are on an island and that should be expected. Use your phone/tablet with cell service to watch. The property management team was great with almost too much communication. LOL. They send multiple reminder emails/texts so don't ever say you didn't know about something. I would recommend this location.

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We're so glad you enjoyed the cabin, found it clean and well-equipped, and appreciated our convenient location. We also appreciate your kind words about our management team. We do our best to keep guests well informed, and we're glad to hear our reminders helped, even if they were a bit frequent! Thank you as well for your feedback regarding the Wi-Fi. We appreciate your understanding that internet service on the island can occasionally be slower than on the mainland. Thank you for your recommendation and for choosing to stay with us. We look forward to welcoming you back to Put in Bay again soon!

Not the best rental I have had

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The staff was very nice. I take issue with the safety and health concerns within the rental.Screen doors were not useable, due to the screen being torn around the handles. There was no bath mat, making stepping out of shower onto a slick floor dangerous. No drying rack or dish towels, a huge sanitary concern, since there was no dishwasher. lastly, bathroom door in Master was off its hinges. They did come and fix this.
Antwort von VrboOwner am 15. Juli 2026
Thank you for your feedback and for your kind words about our staff. We're glad to hear our team was friendly and that we were able to promptly repair the bathroom door during your stay. We do wish you had let us know about the other concerns while you were here. Our team is available throughout every guest's stay, and we would have been more than happy to replace the bath mat, provide dish towels, and address the damaged screen door right away so you could fully enjoy your vacation. We truly appreciate you bringing these items to our attention, and we'll make sure they are inspected and corrected for future guests. Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope you'll give us another opportunity to provide you with the five-star experience we strive to deliver.
