Truly, can’t recommend this property highly enough. We had an incredible time attending the 2026 Kentucky Derby. Located within easy driving distance from Louisville, Frankfort and the surrounding bourbon areas we found the location to be ideal. The home is clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed evenings in the game room downstairs. Lots of intense games of checkers and 31. If you are in the area, this is the place to stay.

Bourbon Trail Farm
Yes, this house is on a farm, and Wow! what a beautiful place. The pictures accurately represent what the house looks like, but fall far short of representing the beauty of the property. Make sure you take an opportunity to watch the sunrise from the front porch, absolutely breathtaking.
The house has everything you need or may want, right up to K-cups for the Kuerig. Plenty of towels and paper goods. The host was very responsive to any requests we had.
This property is pretty centrally located to most popular distilleries, so it works really well if you're doing the bourbon trail.
I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

We could not use the deck because there were so many wasps, we couldn't enjoy it. It would have been nice to have been told that was an issue. It took 4 days to even attempt to get rid of them. And even then, it was just a guy with a can of spray and my husband had to point out the nests to him. We had also bought our own can of wasp spray first because we were getting nowhere with anyone else. They did give us a hanging sticky trap first that did nothing.The deck did not look nearly as nice as the online photos and one of the chairs was broken and all the decorative deck lights did not work. There also some deck screws and nails sticking up on one side of the deck.Inside the house, there were so many stink bugs that we could not get rid of them. Even after being told to flush them down the toilet The solution they gave was to come and put some kind of bug repellent traps in the outlets that did nothing, and even that took 5 days to even try to fix it.Also, inside the house, tons of dead ladybugs and a basket filled with them too. It was disgusting.We set down a suit case on one of the beds in the room with the twin beds. When we moved it, there were more dead ladybugs under the suitcase.The bed in master bedrooms frame was so loose that the bed made a loud noise every time we moved a little while trying to sleep, it made it very hard to sleep.One of the outlets in kitchen didn't work at all, the oven took over an hour to cook anything, not enough room but more issue
