Cottage on the lake 15 minutes to Shipshewana

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. We invite you to come enjoy sunrises over the lake and sunsets across the field.

This is a great option for Notre Dame home games as the cottage is only 40 minutes from ND. It is also a short 15 minutes from Shipshewana and all the attractions there (MEC, Bluegate, and flea markets). The sweet town of Middlebury is also 10 minutes away which is where you can find the Das Dutchman Essen Haus and other Amish attractions.

The master bedroom includes one queen size bed and the second upstairs bedroom includes two full size beds as well as an air mattress as needed.

The kitchen is fully furnished and ready for you to make all your favorite meals. There is also an outdoor table and lots of outdoor seating.

The living room space has a large sectional that may sleep 2 people. Pillows and blankets are provided. The fireplace in this space is not currently available for use. While we know how entertaining a TV can be, we do not provide one as we see this getaway cottage as an opportunity to provide some intentional time to unplug. There is, however, WiFi available should you need to use such.

Enjoy a picnic or gather around the fire pit in our spacious yard while taking in the lake breeze. This is one of the larger yards on the lake! Perfect for enjoying a game of cornhole with the provided boards and bags. Kayaks will be available for use in April through September.
