Arcadian's Cottage is a new, modern rendition of classic rural retreat. Located on a flat, wooded lot at Bryce Resort with separation from neighbors, this cottage calls to those who want a simple, quiet getaway. The main floor's high ceilings and many windows draw the outside in - always immersed in nature. Covered porches in front and back encourage lounging in any weather, while the custom fire pit calls for you in the evenings. Access to the home includes three steps up to entry level from the flat driveway. It's a short 1.8 mile drive to the Resort's main lodge and ski/bike lifts, and a 4.1 mile drive to the Basye Community Store, The Burn Barrel & RHouse restaurants, and Pale Fire Brewing Company.
Please review the listing photos carefully. This cottage is brand new and has plenty of room to spread out. It's a perfect getaway for families, friends, and lovers!
FEATURES & AMENITIES:
Most of the cottage's main floor is open, including the living room, kitchen, and dining area. The stone wood-burning fireplace accentuates the high ceilings. A large smart TV is mounted above the fireplace mantle - perfect for cozy movie nights. This home's two covered decks are both accessible from the main room. The kitchen pops with tall white shaker-style cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and a massive island/bar that seats four. It includes basic cookware, tableware, and a basket-style drip coffee maker (filters provided, but please bring your favorite grind). The dining area seats six at the table and another four at the island bar. A half-bathroom serves the great room. The main floor also hosts the primary bedroom with king bed and full en-suite bathroom. Upstairs offers a cozy conversation/kids area with a flat screen TV, from which guests access two additional bedrooms (queen in one, twin & double in the other) and another full bathroom. Sleeps 6-7 comfortably.
The cottage is supplied with bedding (pillows, bedspreads, blankets), fresh bed linens, one towel set per max occupants, one travel-size bar soap per max occupants, two rolls toilet paper per bathroom, two dishwasher tabs, five trash bags, one bath trash bag per bathroom, one paper towel roll, one kitchen dish towel, one travel-size dish soap, and one scrubby pad. We encourage guests with large groups, or who are staying several nights, or who are heavy users of consumable supplies to bring extra supplies or purchase them at the local Basye Community Store.
The great room, main bedroom and upstairs lounge area have smart TVs that allow guests to log into popular streaming apps. WiFi internet is provided by 15mbps DSL, which is sufficient for working, video conferencing, web browsing, and TV streaming.
