Enchanting, romantic and fun river getaway

Relax and enjoy the beautiful river, covered deck with grill and fire pit, large wrap around porch with a water feature. The home is charming, romantic and cozy, yet roomy enough for the family with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths.

The home is in a quiet neighborhood set right on the river. Across the river is Intervale Golf Course.

There is a large weeping willow right out front for extra privacy.

Guest have access to the whole house, porch, decks, grill, fire pit and yard.

We have a traveling nurse that lives in the apartment above the garage. She keeps to herself and does not have use of the decks, dock, porches or outdoor cooking area.

The property and house were stunning and even more beautiful than the photos. The house had all the comforts of home and many thoughtful touches throughout. Anna was extremely communicative and accommodating. Would definitely love to stay there again when in NH!

5 stars all around, big beautiful home outfitted with all the amenities and super comfortable adult human beds too! Great for a trip with my parents and fiance. The breakfast fixings and s’mores supplies left by the host for us was such a treat and we enjoyed both every day of our little trip! Only regret not having more time to enjoy the place - can’t wait to come back!

Hello Dan and Susan, We are very sorry to see that the review is only 4 stars. Was there something that was not quite right with your stay? We work very hard to provide amenities (extra comforts, treats and time) that we also appreciate at a VRBO home. It’s so disappointing to receive less than 5 stars and would like to know if there is something that we can do better in the future. Thank you in advance. Respectfully, Anna

From the moment we arrived at Anna's charming riverfront home, everything was perfect. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfy and the views from the wraparound porch and second story balcony were fantastic. Anna was extremely communicative, attentive to all our needs and gave us wonderful suggestions of local things to do. There were fresh bananas, orange juice, eggs, coffee (w/creamer), and pancake mix - like it was our home! There were even s'mores fixins for a night by the firepit. From the furniture to the furnishings, the home has such a cozy vibe that makes you want to relax immediately. Our only complaint was that we were there for just two nights! Highly recommend!

This vrbo member sets the bar incredibly high. Not only was the listing extremely detailed and accurate, it failed to mention all the additional and generous amenities that were included. Literally anything you could have wanted, and even things you didn't have any idea you needed, were supplied. Think cold green grapes, 1/2 & 1/2, orange juice. huge variety of coffee pods, sugar and sugar substitutes, the makings for S'Mores, a large bowl of candy on the countertop. butter, eggs, and more. I can't say enough about the hospitality, graciousness, and generosity of the owner. Clean, fresh white linens in every bedroom, an abundance of fluffy white towels, Beds were comfortable as were the pillows. Sitting on the wraparound porch overlooking the river was beautiful and peaceful. The grounds are a marvel of landscape planning and meticulous gardening. Flowers, hydrangea bushes, a gazebo, a dock, chairs, beach towels....I could go on and on. This home has a personality that you don't usually find in sterile, impersonal rentals. We wish we could meet the owner as we have so many questions...where did you get that beautiful chest, did you stencil the stairway wall by yourself? How do you keep your hangling plants looking so lush? As you can tell, our stay exceeded expectations and we would not hesitate to recommend this listing to others.

The house was amazing!! Anna was very welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast items were a nice touch. Despite having a rainy weekend we were able to sit on the porch and enjoy the view of the Merrimack. Would definitely go again and recommend to others!

We had a wish list for a nice place for a girls’ weekend: comfortable, airy space for hanging out; three “adult” bedrooms (not twin/bunk beds); easy to get to; quiet, safe neighborhood; and a clean, well-maintained kitchen and bath. This place had all that, plus…accommodating check-in/out; amazing views and property; fun extras like the s’mores basket; and great hosts. I can see why it has a 10/10 rating.

Girls weekend

This house is better than being home!! More relaxing, better decor, and the views of the river are amazing. The owners have thought of everything! It even has a massage chair and comfy blankets everywhere. They provided plenty of towels, shampoo/conditioner, coffee snacks and condiments. We had the best time and we will definitely come back to stay here. Best VRBO I have ever rented!!

What a magnificent property! It’s beautiful both inside and out. The tasteful, comfortable décor and lovely scenery contribute to the calm, relaxing atmosphere perfect for a restful vacation. The home is beautifully appointed and has everything you could possibly want or need, including a wonderful selection of snacks and refreshments. The best feature of this rental, though, is the helpful, responsive owner. She responded almost immediately to any questions we had and offered helpful suggestions as to places to eat and things to see and do. I have rented many Vrbo properties over the years but this was by far the best!

Enchanting and Perfectly Stocked

Our visit was short but absolutely wonderful. Our host had thought of everything - coffee, tea, pancake mix, eggs, and a ton of other goodies that made us feel absolutely spoiled. We spent every moment possible enjoying the porch and overlooking the river. Bedding, furniture, and amenities were all incredible. We all wished we could have stayed much longer and would book again in a heartbeat if we’re ever back in the area.

Cozy home

Beyond what we could have imagined. Pictures don't do this property justice. If i lived in the New England area i would stay here multiple times a year. The property owners thought of everything possible for anyone staying here. It is literally a fully furnished house. Location is on a nice quiet street but close to everything. Truely an incredible place.

We stayed here for a hockey tournament for my son. The house was decorated so cute and had anything you could possibly need. The host was always available if needed. The house was so cozy we didn't want to leave. Cant wait to book again when its warmer to take advantage of the great deck and grill off the river. Loved it!!!

Storybook setting

This was a perfect place to stay for a girls' weekend with my mother and cousins. Anna is a fabulous and responsive host, and the house is absolutely gorgeous! Well stocked with everything you might need in the kitchen, with so many thoughtful touches scattered throughout. We were in the area for a bridal shower but I would come back here just to spend a few days of pure relaxation in this idyllic setting. Cozy, charming, and positively delightful. Hope to be back someday!

Comfort and Cozy

This house had all the comforts from home and more. It was so cozy which made it hard to leave. The couches and throws were perfect for snuggling up with a book and movie night. The beds were so comfortable and plush. The kitchen came stocked with coffee, eggs, muffins, fresh fruit, and woopie pies! It was a perfect getaway for Mom’s birthday weekend. We plan to visit again when the weather is warmer so we can enjoy the beautiful yard and river!

I am a wedding and event planner who enjoys providing memorable and fun experiences for my guests. I love to be a hostess and entertain and am always searching for ways to make a guest experience better. I'd love to hear any suggestions or requests you may have.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

This is a very quiet neighborhood that is the perfect place to bike, hike or walk and we are only minutes from downtown shopping, restaurants and activities.

Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig

This is a romantic cozy home, right on the river in a very private location with high privacy fencing all around. There is a large, beautiful yard with a water feature, gorgeous weeping willow tree, fruit trees, deck with outdoor grill and fire pit. It is surrounded by rose bushes with a lovely gazebo right in the center to sit in on a lazy afternoon and watch the boats go by. Or go for a swim, a kayak/paddle boat ride or just relax on the deck and porch.
